Chapter 2 - Trials and Errors

...

It was a wonderful sunny morning in Seoul, the weather was perfect, with a nice clean sky, not that Jungkook could admire it because he was so late. Through a barely open window, the sounds of the busy traffic and occasional honk of the cars could be heard and the entire city had a warm glow from the Sun which was calling Jungkook for a nice morning jog that he usually took. Instead, he was running around his apartment, a toothbrush in his mouth while he tried to button up his shirt. His alarm clock didn't go off, so he slept in, and was now late. He also ran out of coffee and he discovered that one of the last clean socks had a hole in it, and since he forgot to do his laundry he didn't have any other clean pair. These will have to suffice. He thought. All of the things he was postponing for the past several days gathered together to mess with him on his first day of work after two months of suspension.

Jeon Jungkook was a police detective, like his father before him. Chief Jeon was a hotshot, very respected and liked. He ruled the station with determination and ability, back in Busan, until he went into premature retirement because he was shot three times by one of the suspects, who was later killed in retaliation. Chief Jeon barely survived and was never able to work again. Instead, he bought a nice little house in the countryside, finally spending his life peacefully, fishing and gardening. His wife, who was a middle school teacher was relieved about the move as she came to dislike living in a busy and dangerous city.

Jungkook, at that time, was a cadet in the Police Academy, so he stayed behind. His mother, ever condemning his career choices, only mildly nagged him for it, knowing too well how stubborn and determined her son could be, while his dad was very proud.

There were a lot of expectations from young Jeon since then. His father's shoes were difficult to fill in, which he had no intention of doing, so he moved into the capital, to start fresh, far away from his father's station and colleagues. He didn't want any protection, he wanted to make it on his own. Needless to say, he was a good cop, and then he passed his exams to become an even better detective. Now, in his thirties, he was well-known in his district for his quick and witty case solving. His forte was burglaries and theft. Of course, he worked on a few homicide cases over the years, but he was more fascinated with well-organized robberies. He was excellent at his job, solving difficult cases until...well... until that damned day when he met Park Jimin and got suspended from work because of him. He will never forgive himself for that mistake.

Now, two months later, he got to the station half an hour late because of the traffic, got reprimanded right away because of it by his Chief in Command, and was told that he was not to accept any new cases that day, so he could ''ease'' himself back to work, sort of speak. Jungkook didn't need to ''ease'' back, he was ready to work the first week after his suspension took place, but he understood that he was still punished in a way, for a stupid mistake.

Chief Jeong was a good, but righteous man and he had no patience for stupid mistakes. That slip-up Jungkook had, is going to follow him for some time. He had a ton of paperwork and reports on his desk, he was informed, all neatly awaiting his arrival. No amount of charming attempts to soften the Chief's heart was working, so quite defeated, Jungkook only murmured: - ''Yes, Sir.'' – And went out of the Chief's office.

He took a deep breath, greeting a few passing colleagues in the hall before reaching the door of his unit. Their room was huge, stacked with small assembled offices in the corners and a bunch of desks, two by two, in the middle. One of those desks was Jungkook's. He inhaled the air again to calm his nerves and to mentally prepare for the torment he will, unquestionably, be subjected to.

As soon as he came in, one of the many voices in the huge room chimed in.

-'' Well, well, well, look who finally decided to show up!'' - Jungkook turned his head to the right and was greeted by one of his best friends, and also a colleague, Yugyeom. He was standing next to the coffee machine with a ready mug in his hands and a big grin on his face.

Jungkook smiled back and waved. – '' Hey, Gyeom.'' – He raised his hand for a high-five which the man joyfully returned.

-'' Good to see you at work again.'' – Yugyeom said honestly. –'' I mean hanging out privately is one thing, but it's different when you are here where the action is.'' – He added with a smile.

-'' I don't think there will be any action for me for a while.'' – Jungkook confided quietly. – '' I just came from Chief's office, he is still pretty pissed.

Yugyeom made a pitiful face. – '' Sorry bro.'' – He then brightens up and slaps Jungkook's shoulder in a good gesture. – '' But hey, you are here, things will get better. Wanna fix you a mug?'' - He pointed at the coffee machine.

-'' Thanks... I didn't have any.'' – Jungkook answers gratefully and walks further into the room. As soon as he reached his severely stacked table with various papers, folders and boxes another voice spoke on his right.

-'' You sure took your time this morning.'' – Another colleague, and also a friend, Jackson teased, checking his wristwatch. – ''If I were this late I would be sent back home for another week.''

Jungkook rolled his eyes and smirked. -'' You would, more likely, get a cut from your salary, Jacks.''

Jackson laughed in good humour. – '' That's true. Have you?''

Jungkook chuckled. – '' We shall see next month.''

He reached his table, eyes surveying the chaos on it. – '' What the hell is all this?'' – He asked dumbfoundedly.

-'' Oh, the Chief told us to give you a copy of our reports. He says that you will sort them into the files and registers. Plus there are some things from the evidence that has to be taken to the storage.'' – Jackson says, pointing at the large boxes. – ''These right here. He said there are some registers from the archive that needs to be sorted as well.''

-'' Are you kidding me?'' – Jungkook asked with round eyes. He knew that if he was sent to the archives, he probably won't come out for at least a fortnight.

Jackson raised his eyebrows at that shaking his head, trying not to laugh at Jungkook's misery. -'' Noup.'' – He replied, making the last letter pop.

-'' Oh, man.'' – Jungkook took off his leather jacket and placed it on the back of the chair before sitting on it. – '' This is a nightmare. I knew I shouldn't wake up this morning.'' – Jungkook groaned, burying his face in his hands.

-'' Hey, Kook, how are you doing?''

Jungkook peaked from between his fingers and saw Mark coming his way. He straightened himself and Mark's quite big and infectious grin made Jungkook smile weakly as well.

Mark's eyes went from Jungkook's defeated face to his overstacked desk and then at his partner, Jackson, who barely contained his laughter. His brows furrowed at the blond man, and he tsked with his tongue, turning back at Jungkook.

-'' Did this jackass tell you that you have to file and clean up every damn report there is on this table?'' – He asked and Jungkook looked at him in confusion, and then at Jackson, who burst out laughing.

-'' You fucking asshole'' – Jungkook gritted through his teeth while Jackson laughed wholeheartedly, holding at his stomach.

-'' You should've seen your face. You were about to cry.'' – The blond still laughed, dabbing at his tears.

-'' You ass!'' – Mark smiled, looking at Jackson, and then, still shaking his head he turned to Jungkook. – '' Don't worry. We just used your desk as storage for a while. No one wants to get to the archives.'' – He shuddered involuntarily. –'' Let me help you clean up.'' – He offered, but Jungkook shook his head.

-'' That's alright, I'll do it. I have nothing to do anyway.''

Yugyeom came back at that moment and placed the mug on the small free space of Jungkook's table.

-'' Thanks Gyeom, you are a saviour.''

Yugyeom smiled and nodded once before turning to the other two men. – ''Chief removed him from the field. He is stuck in the office for a while.'' – He told them.

Both men groaned sympathetically.

-'' That sucks.'' – Jackson had the same face Yugyeom had when he told him the news. They were all men of action, loving being outside and hating the office.

-'' Yes, that's a shame. We need more bodies on the streets.'' – Mark agreed, sitting at his own table, next to Jackson's.

They ease up into comfortable chit-chat about this and that. Jungkook missed this, having some time in the office with his co-workers. He missed being on the field even more, utterly dying to get some case. They were just discussing one of Mark's and Jackson's new cases when the new voice bellowed behind Jungkook.

-'' My, my, look what cat dragged in.''

Jungkook groaned when Jaebum's arm wrapped around his neck in a tough hug. – ''I was wondering when will you show your bunny teeth again. I was starting to miss it.''

Jungkook scrunched his face at the sudden heaviness on his shoulders and grunted out. -'' Well, if you wanted to see them so badly you could've just stopped by my place.''

He managed to get a grip of Jaebum's wrist and twist it slightly. The man yelped and let go, and Jungkook scowled at him, but there was no malice in his eyes.

Jaebum grinned. -'' I could have, but some of us have work to do, you know. We didn't have two months' vacation.''

Mark chuckled, while Yugyeom and Jackson openly laughed.

Junkgook groaned, dropping his head on the table. – ''It wasn't a vacation.''

-'' You still didn't work now, didn't you?'' – Jaebum grinned. He loved rattling Jungkook's cage early in the morning.

-'' Fuck you, Jay.''

Jaebum laughed this time, tilting his head back. –'' No, thank you. I did that last night and she was divine.''

-'' It's always time for fucking. Please, do tell.'' – Jackson added matter-of-factly.

Jungkook raised his hand to stop him from continuing. -'' Spare me the details, please. I don't want to know.''

-'' Of course not, girls have no power over you, you bastard.'' – Jeabum grinned and then added in a false concerned manner. – ''I, on the other hand, am completely powerless to refuse them, especially when they have large melons and they bounce up and down so wonderfully.''

Jungkook groaned while Jaebum was getting lost in his fantasy.

-'' Jay, man... you are daydreaming again. You know Kook doesn't care about boobs.'' – Jackson stood from his seat, came closer and slapped Jaebum on his shoulder. – '' He is more an ass type.'' - He then turned and wiggled his ass teasingly at Jungkook. – ''Tell me, Kook, does my ass look good in these pants?''

Jungkook rolled his eyes but still laughed with the rest of the guys.

It was still fresh, the sudden accidental outing of his sexual orientation. Being gay was still frowned upon in his country, especially in the Law Enforcement and the Army, but Jungkook was lucky enough that he had already proven himself at work and that he was surrounded by fellow colleagues and friends who didn't mind who he sleeps with. Plus, they kinda suspected it because Jungkook never responded to any women that were flirting with him whenever they go out, and they were plenty. Instead, he would check out handsome guys when they pass by. He was not subtle as he thought. His co-workers never said anything back then, but that didn't stop them from constantly teasing him now. So he decided to retaliate.

-'' Hmm, come closer, I need to see better.'' – Jungkook smirked and slapped Jackson's ass hard with his open palm when the man moved closer.

-'' Ouch, you fucker.'' – Jackson was howling.

-'' That's a very pretty bum, I say. It bounces so nicely when I slap it.'' – Jungkook winked at flushing Jackson.

-'' Mine is better, much firmer.'' – Yugyeom added from his seat. – ''But you have to trust my word on it. I will not come near your heavy palm.''

There was some sound at the entrance and Hwasa came in. She was hot, quite gorgeous, but bitchy as hell. Jungkook adored her. She was munching a bag of chips, and when Jackson tried to grab some she slapped his hand away.– ''Hands off. Get your own chips.'' – She said grimly.

Jackson grinned his charming smile. – ''But I love stealing everything from you.''

His smile disappeared though when she stared him down and he backed away with both of his hands raised in surrender. – ''PMS?''

She hissed at him like a cat she is and came to sit on Jungkook's table, moving the shaking tower of files with her ass, which then proceeded to slide down into the next pile and the next into the next pile until half of the files were on the floor. Jungkook barely managed to remove his mug with hot coffee out of the way. She was unfazed. – ''Ops... '' – She says in a bored tone. She then offered Jungkook the snacks. – ''Chips?''

He tossed his head back laughing, the first joyful laugh since this morning.

He took the snack and pop them into his mouth. She smirked satisfactorily at him and comment on their previous conversation she overheard. -'' Nothing beats a nice 6-pack, muscles and a nice ass.''

-'' I agree.'' - Jungkook took some more chips.

-'' Hey, how come he gets the snack and I can't?'' – Jackson asked somewhat hurt, pointing at the bag of chips in her hand.

-'' That's part of my charm.'' – Jungkook had to say between the bites.

Hwasa didn't bat her eye before responding to Jackson. – ''When you share so many candies and snacks with me as Jungkookie does, you will get the snacks too.''

-'' Well, if I have to buy them I would just eat them by myself in the first place.'' – Jackson retorted.

-'' Pig.'' – Hwasa hissed.

- ''Harpy.'' – Jackson shot back.

- ''Alright guys, get a room.'' – Yugyeom murmured.

Hwasa pretended she didn't hear him. She stood, winked at Jungkook. – ''Good to have you back. It was borning with these baboons here.''

-'' Hey!'' – There was a choir of protest, which made Jungkook laugh again. Leave to Hwasa to brighten his day.

-'' Hwasa, are you ready? Hey Kook!'' – Jinyoung, Hwasa's work partner, waved at Jungkook shortly as he came around the corner. He always looked nice and primp, like a proper gentleman, which was a disguise since he was savage as hell. Hwasa was more like some exotic animal, wild and unpredictable, while inside she had a soft spot. They were quite a pair.

He checked his watch and urged. – ''We have to go.''

-'' Coming.'' – She responded, and turned towards Jackson. – ''Here, pig, eat your heart out.'' – She tossed the bag of chips on Jackson's table.

-'' I love you.'' – Jackson was looking at her lovingly, but all he got in response was Hwasa's middle finger before she followed Jinyoung out. They were always like a cat and a dog, always arguing and bantering, but there was chemistry between them, it was quite obvious.

Jackson went to retrieve the bag when Mark snatched it from him.

-'' Too slow.'' – He said, stuffing the fist full of chips, which was about everything that was left.

-'' You are pure evil.'' – Jackson scowled at him, but Mark only happily giggled and chewed. He found an ounce of sympathy for the man and gave him the bag.

-'' Gee, thanks.'' – Jackson said sarcastically, but then added with a growl when he checked the content of his bag. –'' There's only three left, you greedy motherfucker.''

Jungkook was glad that he was not the centre of attention anymore and he leaned back in his chair sipping at his coffee.

-'' Hey, Jungkook-ah.'' – Jaebum place the hand on his shoulder. – ''Good to have you back man.'' – He said one last time and put on his jacket.

Jungkook smiled warmly. – ''It's good to be back.''

The man winked at him and then left with Yugyeom close at his heels. They just got a call about a possible homicide so they rushed out in a heist. New day, new week, for it was good, but for Jungkook, not so much.

Mark did keep his word and helped him clean his desk a little before he went on his business with Jackson as well. Jungkook, on the other hand, had to stay behind and write the bloody reports from his last case. It was transferred to another colleague, but he still had to compare the notes and add his observation into the file, even though the case was closed and the guy got away from the lack of evidence.

He hated it. He hated that he got away, and it was his fault. He thought he was better than the rest of them, he grew too arrogant and it has bitten him on the ass. A nice fine chunk of it. He still beat himself up because of that mistake. Someone would say that he was a changed man now, that he learned the lesson, learn about patience and how to stop his ego from ruining things and causing problems. Jungkook hoped that it was the truth. Bloody Park Jimin.

One wiggle of that big ass of his and Jungkook was lost. Like a dog with a bone. The expert mouth of his and Jungkook started babbling nonsense. A slight stroke of his ego and he started bragging. He never does that, but he did then. He was a fool, and Park Jimin knew how to make fools talk. And he made him pay for this mistake. He lost his case, his reputation, and two months suspension with half wages. He was lucky enough that he didn't lose his job. Yup, Jungkook had learned his lesson now.

The day went so slow. He was losing his mind slowly, unable to concentrate. He hated the paperwork, but he understood that it was a part of the job...and his punishment. The third time, his computer crashed that day he gave up. He called IT, but the man was available only in two hours. Jungkook huffed, leaning back in his chair, allowing his eyes to go around a familiar office filled with mostly empty desks and a few people that were still in. He wondered about the guys. Which drug gang Mark and Jackson were chasing now. They were both quite known in Narcotics as the guys that know the streets well. They were goofballs in the office, but on the streets, they didn't mess around.

On the other hand, Yugyeom and Jaebum were in Homicides. Jungkook always admired them, how they manage to stay optimistic when they deal with tough and sometimes cruel cases. He saw Yugyeom at his worst after one especially difficult case when the entire family was murdered in the most savage way, even the baby twins in their cribs. It was all over the news for a long time. Yugyeom, who loved kids, was devastated after he saw the crime scene. He cried in Jungkook's embrace for the better part of the night. Tomorrow, he acted like everything was ok, but Jungkook saw that dark shadow in the man's eye, the one that saw his fair share of human cruelty.

He thought about his work partner as well, Mingyu, who was now in rehabilitation after he broke his foot. He wasn't Jungkook's first partner, no, but he was a reliable partner nevertheless, and Jungkook was very fond of him. They were working for less than a year, managing fully to create a nice partnership before the accident.

Jungkook's first partner, however, was an old and wise legend of the Law Force, that retired some years ago. Everyone was a bit in awe of him, Jungkook especially. In a way, he reminded Jungkook of his father, since they both were authoritative figures, but still quite different. Jungkook learned a lot from him. Mingyu was cool but not near as cool as old Choi.

After he checked up with Mingyu over the phone, asking about his healing progress, they chatted for a while, and after that was done he went and placed a fresh batch of coffee in the coffee machine. He washed up all the mugs from the sink, and throw away suspicious and smelly containers of half-eaten food from the fridge that probably stayed there for a week or two.

He was doing everything else but what he was supposed to be doing. That was the same problem he did at home with laundry and cleaning. The online gaming and the World outside were so much more inviting than house choirs.

Just as he was about to sit on his desk again the familiar slender petite figure passed in his peripheral vision and he had an idea. He went to the adjoined room next to the Chief's office and caught sight of one of his favourite people in the Force, looking all pretty and hardworking.

-'' Jieun Noona.'' – He said with a smile. She mirrored his expression and exclaimed. –'' Jungkookie, I've heard you're back. How wonderful.''

They share a few polite words when Jungkook deemed enough time before asking for a favour.

-'' Noona, do you have a few moments, please. I need your help with...'' – He began, but she just shook her head apologetically.

-'' Sorry Jungkookie, but I'm under strict orders from the boss himself not to help you with anything today.''

-'' You are joking, right?'' – Jungkook couldn't believe his ears.

She shook his head again. – ''Noup, I'm afraid not.''

-'' But can you...please...just a little bit?'' – He put on his best puppy look he could master and she bit her lip to stop herself from cooing.

The Chief showed up on the small glass window that was looking at the hall at that moment. Jieun straightened herself, looking at him. Jungkook turned to follow her gaze and was met with old Jeong's glare. It's not that the Chief hates Jungkook. On the contrary, they always had a very good understanding, but after that fiasco two months ago, he was in the black books for a while.

He gulped, and licked his lips, returning his gaze toward Jieun. She was looking at him with raised eyebrows and pursed lips. -'' Sorry.'' – He said.

-'' Agh.'' – He groaned quietly again, thanking her and going towards the coffee machine. He needs another shot of caffeine.

The day seems to never end, it was ridiculous. When it finally did, he asked the guys to have a drink in the local bar but since they already had their arrangements they all called a raincheck.

Still, Jungkook went alone. He greeted the bartender, share a few words, order a whiskey and then sat in silence, meditating. He wondered what his Hyung was doing at the moment. If he is still in his lab, like a workaholic he is. Jungkook made a mental note to visit him first thing tomorrow.

He took a sip of a fiery drink, enjoying the slow burn from his throat down to his stomach.

-'' I didn't expect to see you here so soon.'' – The soft, teasing voice came from his right. He froze for a second and then turned his head to check who it is. It was Park Jimin.

He snorted darkly. – ''Oh, you have some nerve Park.'' – His mouth twisted into a sneer.

Jimin just smirked, his tongue escaping to lick his beautiful lips, mouth spreading slightly in the smile, showing off his nice pearl teeth before they bit on his lower lip. The entire gesture was so erotic, so endearing, so lovely, and so well practised. Jungkook wished he could hate it, but he didn't. He turned his eyes away from the man, deciding to ignore him when he felt him settling down next to him.

-'' Martini, please, dry, vodka, not gin, three olives.'' – He ordered in his sweet voice and Jungkook had to fight the urge to roll his eyes. Jimin was so posh, so neat in his designer suit and tie, silver rings and earrings. His blond hair is always nicely cut, short on the sides, longer at the top and fashionably stylized with some expensive wax. His nails were manicured with a translucent polish and he always smelled good. God, he smelled so fucking good. Too bad he was such an asshole. Jungkook thought bitterly.

He felt Jimin's stare provoking him, asking for his attention. He sighed exasperatedly. – '' What do you want Park?'' – He took another sip of his drink, acting nonchalantly.

-'' Aww, so I'm Park again.'' – Jimin's voice was amused, still soft and sexy. – '' That's a shame. I quite enjoyed you calling my name.'' – This last bit sounded so close. Jungkook jerked a bit, glowering at the blond man before gritting through his teeth.

-'' Never again...Park.'' – He almost spitted the last name. That just amused Jimin even more, his grin growing wider, more mischievous.

-'' Never say never Jungkook.''

-'' It is never! And that's a Detective Jeon to you.'' – Jungkook's eyes flashed with annoyance, narrowing suspiciously when Jimin laughed, tossing his head back.

-'' My, my, you are sensitive tonight.'' – He provoked. Jungkook huffed, turning away again, taking a sip of his whiskey while nibbling at his lower lip to stop himself from speaking. I. Will. Not. Be. Provoked. He repeated in his head like a mantra.

-'' I don't remember you this defensive the last time we were together.'' – Jimin purred, his smile almost audible. Jungkook wasn't sure whether or not he wanted to kiss him or slap him across his mouth.

Jimin licked his lips again, leaning closer. – '' You were quite dominant...'' – He let his voice get a bit raspy. – '' So rough and sexy. It was so hot.'' – Jimin was relentless. His words set the spark inside Jungkook. Damn him and his filthy tongue. He growled inwardly.

-'' I loved the way you fucked me. I felt you for days. I had to go to court the next morning, to be all presentable.'' - Jimin's voice was a mere whisper in his ear, but Jungkook heard him loud and clear. – '' It was very difficult, I could still feel you in me.'' – Jungkook closed his eyes at this, breathing slow and deep, doing his best to ease his boner down. He hated the power this man had over him. One word and Jungkook was hard as a teenager.

-'' The memory of you was with me the entire day.'' – Jimin paused and took a sip of his own drink once it arrived, allowing Jungkook to catch his breath for a bit.

He moaned so lustfully that Jungkook's eyes rushed toward him. He choked. It was not cool. He felt his cock getting hard quickly, he cursed, but there was nothing to stop that from happening. Not when Park fucking Jimin had his plush lips on one of the olives on the toothpick, swirling his tongue around before popping it in his mouth. He hummed in satisfaction, closing his eyes in the process and Jungkook clearly remembered those lips on his length.

-'' Damn you.'' – He murmured under his breath, but Jimin heard him. The corner of his lips curved into a smirk. The bastard knew his power.

Their eyes met after that. Jungkook wasn't sure for how long they stayed that way before the spell was broken by Jimin's hand on his thigh.

-'' Let's get out of here.''

The suggestion was full of lust and fire, but it worked like a bucket of ice water on Jungkook. He jerked, realizing how close they were, their breaths almost mingling. He furrowed his brows in a scowl and everything that happened in the past rushed right back at him.

-'' I'm not going anywhere with you. Not anymore.'' – He hissed.

Jimin leaned back. – ''Ah...'' – He says, his expression changing from lustful to annoyed in a second. He quickly prepared for Jungkook's rant., and the latter didn't disappoint.

- '' The last time I went with you, I got suspended for two months, Park. Two months!'' – He repeated the last sentence a bit louder to make a point, not that Jimin cared. The asshole just shrugged his shoulders, smirking, while his eyes twinkled with mischief.

-'' You used me to gather information.'' – Jungkook spits venomously.

Jimin arched his eyebrows. -'' I needed it for my client. You were a detective on the case. It just happened.'' – He said matter-of-factly.

Jungkook observed the gleam in Jimin's eyes shift from uninterested to mischievous again. Jimin pursed his lips, trying not to laugh, before gathering his composure, face still utterly amused.

–'' It's not my fault that you don't know how to keep your mouth shut when you have your cock sucked, Jeon.'' – He said teasingly, taking another olive in his mouth and chewing it with gusto.

-'' Fuck you!'' – Jungkook stood, the stool dragging across the wooden floor loudly.

Jimin didn't even flinch. Instead, he asked. -'' Haven't we done that a couple of times already?''

And at that moment Jungkook was in Jimin's face, glaring at him angrily, voice much quieter and dangerous. Jimin's eyes widen a bit.

-'' Now listen to me very carefully, Park...that mistake will never happen again.'' - Jungkook gritted through his teeth, standing very close. He could almost feel the heat from Jimin's body. – ''You and me...'' – He pointed between them. – '' We are never gonna happen again.''

Jimin's breathing was heavier now, Jungkook felt the puffs of air on his chin. He was aroused.

-'' Are you sure about that?''– He provoked one last time.

Jungkook didn't take that bait. He just moved back, raising his glass to his lips and finishing his drink off in one gulp. He put the money on the bar, catching the bartender's eye. – '' These two drinks are on me.'' – He told the man, who nodded, talking the bills.

Jungkook then turns to look at Jimin. – ''Don't bother repaying, you bastard.'' – And then leaves.

Jimin didn't speak again. He knew the lost battle when he sees one. His tongue went to lick his lips as he watches the younger man leave. He smiled devilishly to himself. ''We shall see...'' He thought before taking yet another sip at his martini.

___________________________________________________________

Don't you just love good banter? I know I do. A merry band of Got7 is always fun, and Park Jimin never disappoints. Here we saw Jungkook's rather simple life... for now. A lot of stuff will happen as this story progresses, and it's not only Jimin's expert verbal (*cough cough*...among others) skills that rattle Jungkookie's cage. Don't forget that Kim Taehyung is here, too. Plus, Jimin is not an asshole that he seems to be here, not to worry.
So, I hope you like this chapter as well. I know it's a slow build, but I do promise a lot of action and erotica. See you on Tuesday. Love you all 💜💜💜
