The thing that we are struggling as a writer, be it Wattpad  writer or writer in general, is the self-doubt, constantly wondering if we are good enough. The positive way is to channel those doubts into improving ourselves and our wordsmith skills. Be positive and have a faith.

Tell yourself that one day all your hard work will pay off, tell yourself that you will see your book on the shelf and adapted into movies. Trust yourself. That's what happened to those successful Wattpad writers, they believe in themselves and stubborn enough to not give up.

Because you know what, dreams do come true. When you are so passionate about something, someday it will work out. Keep on trying, be patient, and have a faith in yourself and in your works.

I know most people are going to say "it's easy for you to say, you got a million reads!" but do you know that when I started, I only had 2 followers and 5 reads? So yeah, I know exactly how it feels because I've been through all that.

I doubted myself a lot (even now sometimes). I know I am not a good writer. I know my books are filled with grammatical errors and plot holes. But knowing that doesn't make me stop writing. And that, my friend, is how you should deal with your self-doubt.

Continue to write. You will learn along the way. You will improve little by little. You will be better than yesterday. It's the same with playing the piano. You won't be able to play unless you try and you will never be good unless you practice.

Those writers who strive, are usually stubborn. They don't let their self-doubt get the better of them. They keep on writing and writing because that's what they are passionate about. I may not be as successful as other writers but I must admit that I am stubborn enough to keep on writing.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

Write because you love writing first, don't think about whether it gets read or comments, whether people will like it or not, whether it will get published one day or not. You write on Wattpad, it is a wonderful platform where you can write stories that you love to write. In real life (outside Wattpad), you get a certain theme. The editors will tell you what they are looking for and if you want them to pick your story, you will have to write accordingly. On Wattpad, you have this blank canvas. So pick up your brush and start painting your story. Sharpen your writing skills and use the opportunity to practice and get better.

I truly believe that you have what it takes to write a good story. As cliche as it sounds, if you don't believe in yourself, then believe in me who believes in you and your ability to write.
