Hi lovelies! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've just been trying to get a decent chapter out. Sorry it's more of a filler chapter, but at least it's something. Things will be building up a bit more in the next few chapters so be ready! Anyway, enjoy the chapter!

~~~Where is she?~~~

Adrien's POV

I woke up the next morning and got ready for school. I wanted to talk to Marinette so badly and tell her that things would be okay; that she could trust me. I wasn't going to tell anyone that she is Ladybug. I'm not that kind of person. I may be Chat Noir. I may seem like a flirt and full of cat puns, but I don't break a promise and I promised her I wouldn't tell a soul.

I quickly got dressed after a shower and walked downstairs to get some breakfast. I ate quickly and decided that I would walk to school. On the way, I met up with Nino and walked with him the rest of the way; the whole time looking for Marinette.

"Dude, you okay?" Nino asked. His sudden question made me jump out of my skin.

"Uh, y-yeah, I'm fine Nino." I told him, trying to calm my breathing.

"You look bothered by something." Nino added.

"Oh, uh yeah. It's probably just school." I lied.

"Okay...." Nino stopped asking and we walked the rest of the way in silence and I was grateful for that.

Once at school, Nino and myself met up with Alya at the entrance of the school.

"Hey Alya," I looked around, "Where's Marinette?"

"She text me this morning and said she was sick. The last time I saw her was yesterday when she was upset. Did you ever talk to her?"

I couldn't say yes. Marinette might tell her she talked to Chat Noir. I gotta play this safe.

"Uh, no. I couldn't find her. Marinette can be clumsy, but when she doesn't want to be caught, she's not going to be." I chuckled a little.

"Yeah. Poor girl. She's been under a lot of stress for the past couple of days. I wonder what's going on with her...." Alya wondered.

"Yeah" Nino added.

"I don't know. I hope she's okay." I said. I was genuinely concerned for Marinette. I wanted to make sure she was okay, but school had to come first. I didn't want to look suspicious.

"Adrien, we're gonna be late dude, let's go!" Nino yelled from a higher step at the entrance.

"Oh yeah sorry!" I yelled as I ran up the stairs and into the school.

After 7 hours of grueling notes and boring classes, the school day finally ended. I collected my stuff and said goodbye to my friends as I raced out the door and into the............rain? 

Great, I gotta walk home in this. But fast, I wanna check on Marinette.

I quickly ran home, up to my room and through my bag and jacket onto my bed and pulled Plagg from my jacket. 

"Alright Plagg, we are going on a little house visit."

"Do we have to.........I'm sure she's fine." Plagg complained

"PLAGG!"

"Fine, fine okay. No need to yell Mr. Drama Boy, jeez." He said as he backed away and rolled his eyes.

"Plagg, claws out!"

I ran to Marinette's house on the rooftops of Paris. It wasn't as enjoyable as I had hoped due to the rain (stupid Plagg and his cat instincts) yet I kept going. 

Once I arrived at Marinette's house, I went over to her balcony and knocked on the trap door. 

There was no answer.

"Okay..." I said suspiciously. I then jumped over onto the fire escape outside of her window and knocked.

No answer.

I then peeked in the window.

No Marinette anywhere to be seen.

"If she was sick today, she should be in bed resting......"

"Where is she?"
