Hey lovelies! So I'm really sorry for not updating this very often. Writers block was kicking my butt and writing "spirit" and I just didn't really know where to go with the story. I decided to keep the original story line I had in previous chapters with the early reveal, so yeah! Sorry this is such a short update, but I wanted to get something out. Enjoy the chapter! Facing A Fear

Marinette POV

"So, you're Ladybug, huh?" Chat asked as I looked down at my feet.

"Yeah...uh"

I didn't know how to respond to Chat. I didn't think he would find out, especially like this. I looked up at him, he looked as though he was thinking hard about something. Was he upset? Was he disappointed that it was me? He probably is...he probably thinks I'm the worst person to be Ladybug. I can't do this...

"Marinette...you okay?" Chat asked me after noticing my long pause.

'What do I do now?' I asked myself. I wanted to run like I had earlier. They say don't run from your fears, yet that's all I ever wanted to do. That's all I ever felt like I could do. And so I did.

"Marinette!" I heard Chat yell as I ran with tears flooding my vision. I ran until I was out of sight. I ran until I got home. I ran until I couldn't any longer. I ran up to my room and layed down on my bed. Tikki flew out of my bag and landed on the bed next to me.

"What do I do now Tikki?" I asked my kwami. "He knows I'm Ladybug..... He probably hates me."

"Well," Tikki started, "It didn't look to me like he hated you. I mean he looked surprised because he finally found out who the love of his life was after a year or so, but he didn't look disappointed or upset. He looked more...relieved." Tikki ended with a warm smile.

"I don't know Tikki..."

"Maybe some sleep will help, Marinette. It will give you some time to think." Tikki said.

"You're right," I said as I crawled under the covers of my bed and looked out the window at the moon.

After a while, I began to doze off, my mind full of thoughts racing all around.

Adrien POV:

After a while of looking for Marinette, I assumed she went home. She needed some time alone and I get it. It was a lot to explain and I guess she just needs some time to get all her thoughts in order.

'I know who Ladybug is' I told myself as I ran across the rooftops of Paris back to my mansion.

'I know who she is, after this long. Marinette is Ladybug.' I thought. She seemed upset, but I was ecstatic. I couldn't be happier that My Lady and my Princess were the same person all along. But one thought poked at the back of my mind. Why did she seem so upset? And why didn't she ever want to tell me who she was? Was she ashamed?

"Dude, Adrien, you should really get some sleep. You can think about it in the morning. Also, I'm starving." Plagg said interrupting my train of thought.

"It's on the table Plagg." I said as I hoped into bed and turned off the lights.

'Tomorrow, I'll visit Marinette and talk to her. I need to tell her the truth.' He whispered to himself as he drifted off to sleep, thinking of his Lady and Princess.
