So as I mentioned my brother Dylan was the most popular guy in the school before he graduate, and that Aidan would most probably become the second most popular guy when he becomes a senior, but for now Will Knight and his friends are the guys in the school, the only reason why he is less popular than Aidan is because his parents never allow him to have house parties and he isn't a big player.

'Are you okay?' He asked, his face inches away from mine. His chocolate brown eyes fill of concern, I gulped. I have never been so close to a guy before, let alone a hot guy!

'Yeah I am fine, thanks for catching me, that would have been so embarrassing.' my voiced answered, I let out a sigh of relieve internally, at least my brain can give out a cool respond while my heart is doing one eighty.

'Will, will you stop perving at my sister.' said Gina voice somewhere in front of me, but all I can see was Will's handsome face.

'Sorry, I didn't realise you have a sister.' He finally let go of me and replied, I quickly stood up and gathered the shopping bags. Great, I thought, they either think of me as an ugly naïve girl or don't even realise I existed.

'Yes, she is going to be a Sophomore now, that means she is underage.' Gina said, rolling her eyes, I blushed at her comment, then I saw that Will wasn't alone, a group of jocks were standing next to Gina, who were obviously the reason why my sister stopped.

'What's your name?' Will asked, everyone was looking at me now. Good lord, how can they not know my name, but then and again Aidan probably don't even think about me often, so no one knows who I am, and Whitney is too busy flirting with them whenever possible to mention me.

'Julianna.' I said, Will smiled, my heart did another flip. 'but it's Anna.' I added.

Gina gave me a weird look, but since no one else here knew that I was known as Julie, they didn't comment on it, tons of people at school have preferred names.

'So, I will see you around then Anna.' Will said, giving me a heart-melting smile and a wave before heading off with his friends, Gina and I waved back.

'So you are Anna now.' Gina said, amused, I rolled my eyes at her.

'I don't want to be called Julie anymore OK? Anna is still a part of my name.' I replied, Gina gave me a I-know-there-is-more-to-it look before continuing to speak. 'And see how successful this make over is! Will Knight directly asked you name, and he didn't even want to let go of you if I hadn't spoke.'

I blushed, despite trying hard not to. Although Will Knight is generally a friendly person, but he never asked anyone what their name is, well mainly because his friends would have known and told him, but still, he paid attention to me!

'So phrase one of makeover is beyond successful, let's move on to phase two.' Gina said as she bundled all the bags into her car. That made me pause.

'What phase two?' I cried out, I thought usually make over only lasts well, until it finish. Gina shook her head at me, before climbing into the driver's sit.

'We need to improve your fashion sense, and also, you need to go on a diet.' she said, frowning at my stomach, OK, so maybe I am a little fat, but who doesn't like their snacks?

'If you want to become pretty enough to say in-your-face to Aidan and for hot Will, you need to start working for it.' Gina said in a serious tone, I was slightly shocked that she was being so frank but I nodded.

'fine.' I said. Boy, what am I getting myself into.

'Hey Julie, where the hell had you been? I have been calling you for the past WEEK!' my best friend's Hannah's voices blasted out of the telephone, now I really regret picking it up.

'Sorry Han, I was busy.' I said, knowing that it's not exactly an answer, but I can't really tell her that I had been reading fashion magazines and running laps around the park everyday lately right?

'What can you possibly be busy at?' She demanded, sounding more furious by the second, I cringed at the thought of Hannah having a massive tantrum, the last time this happened it did not end well. Let's just say it involved me, the entire gym class at the park and an ice-cream van.

'It's hard to explain,' I said, deciding that it's only right for best friends to tell everything to each other. 'Can you come over right now?'

~ an hour later~

'Hey, is Julie home?' I opened the door and saw Hannah in her usual baggy pants and hoodie with a woolen hat. She was looking past me trying to look into the house.

'Um...it's me, Han.' I said, feeling a bit awkward, no one has seen me since the make over (aside from Will, but he didn't know me before then), even Dylan didn't reconsign me when we got home, he was convinced that I was some random girl Gina payed to pretend to be me in the mall, and that the real me was hiding somewhere looking like Godzilla.

'haha very funny, who are you? Julie's cousin?' Hannah ignored my attempts to 'enlighten' her and entered my house, just as Gina came into the foyer.

'Oh hi Hannah, have you seen Jules? She looks so much better right?' Gina said brightly, before exiting. That made Hannah stop, she came back, looked at me as I closed the door, then at where Gina disappeared off to. Both Gina and Dylan couldn't adapted to calling me Anna and called me Jules instead.

'Julie?' She said, uncertainly, I gave her a weak smile. Knowing that she would demand explanation soon.

'Yeah Han, it's me, and would you mind calling me Anna or Jules? I would appreciate it.' I said, before giving her a hug.

'What happened?' She said, her voice full of awe, then saw my slightly hurt face. 'Not that you don't look good.' she added.

We went up to my bedroom where I told her everything, I have calmed down enough by now to only look back at what happened the other night with more embarrassment over my crush on Aidan than hurt. I mean, you can't expect much from the popular crowd.

'Oh my god, they said that?' Hannah's mouth dropped open. 'What a bunch of xxx xx x xxxxx.'

I laughed, Hannah rarely cussed, it's good to see someone other than my family getting angry on my benefit. 'So I told Gina and she decided a make over is exactly what I need to show them and everyone that I am not just Ugly Julie.' I said.

'Okay, so now I am going to have a hot best friend.' Hannah said, my smile widened as I saw Gina coming in holding a bunch of beauty products.

'Alright, now it's time to teach you some basics.' Gina said to me, then noticed that Hannah was also in the room. 'Oh Jules' friend is here too, you can stay for the lesson if you want.'

'What lesson?' Hannah asked, dumb-folded, Gina rolled her eyes, and gestured at the litter of make up and hair products that she was carrying.

'Basics of being beautiful.' She answered with one of her angelic smile, which I know only meant trouble for me.
