I tried to be all you wanted me to be
Did I think that it was possible?

I wanted to be something other than me
Thinking that I could be beautiful.

I made that mistake once
I'll try not to again.

But their isn't one ounce
Of me that wanted that pain.

I wanted to be
What you wanted from me.

But you see, I'm just human.
Human after all.
