Hi guys, here is the bonus as you all requested. Personally I am not a fan of sad endings so.....ENJOY 😘❤️
"Yay! I made purple paint!"
A little girl said, smiling looking up to a tall man. The tall man looked down at the little girl, smiling and caressed her long black tresses.
Little girl: daddy, let make a new painting.
The tall man smiled and said: new painting? What new painting should we make?
Little girl: ummm...uff what should we do?
The man was about to speak when another feminine voice was heard.
Woman: I never thought that Radhika would need her second bath of the day thanks to her father yet here we are.
Yes that tall man was Om and that little girl was his and Gauri's daughter, Radhika. Om and Radhika looked at the woman then Om looked at Radhika who was pretty much covered in paint.
Who was that woman? Well you are about to find out...
Om: Gauri, Radhika has artist blood in her. After all, who does Radhika take after?
Radhika: daddy!
Om: that's right!
Yes that woman was Gauri. She smiled as Om got a new canvas and the father-daughter duo started to paint on the canvas. Gauri went from the art room to the kitchen to start cooking dinner. She was secretly hoping for her daughter to love dance but oh well! She could do what she wanted to do.
It had been three years since she met Om after the whole Chulbul, Kaali incident. It had been three years when Om got to know that he had a daughter. Gauri did give him her number if he wanted to be part of his daughter's life and before Gauri left Mumbai, she got a text message from Om asking her where did she live in Delhi...On Saturday, the day after she came back to Delhi, Om was at her door. Ever since then, Om made it a tradition to come meet Gauri and their daughter Radhika every weekend. Even though Gauri disagreed for Om to pay for a bungalow, Om still paid for it and now she and her daughter live there with frequent visits from Om.
No one in the Oberoi family knew about Radhika and Gauri, it was for the best because Radhika was the first born of the new generation and Om didn't want his daughter to become part of this waris battle between Tej and Pinky. He had told Gauri about this and Gauri understood because as Chulbul, she had seen what kind of man Tej was. Did I say that no one in the Oberoi family knew about Radhika and Gauri? Oops sorry I made a mistake, do you think Om would keep anything away from his brothers, Shivay and Rudy? He told his brothers about his daughter and about Gauri, their Bareilly marriage everything and how he messed up. His brothers were mad at him for messing up and now they were waiting for the day Om would bring Gauri home as his bride...Gauri didn't know that his brothers were waiting for her and Radhika.
Om and Gauri have worked hard to raise Radhika. The weekends sometimes weren't easy because Radhika would start crying on Sunday evening when Om had to go and sometimes because Om would remember her crying face whilst in the middle of driving, he would turn back to spend another day or two with Radhika. Sometimes she would throw tantrums on the weekdays because she missed Om. When Radhika threw a tantrum, Om would actually drive to Delhi on the weekdays to make Radhika happy but every weekday, without the tantrums, Gauri and Radhika would facetime Om.
As she was preparing dinner, she felt a tug at her duapatta. She looked down to see her baby girl hiding behind her.
Gauri: why are you hiding Radhika?
Radhika whispering: whisper mummy, daddy is not letting me have a bubble bath with my bath toys. He say that I have to have normal bath.
Gauri whispering: oh really?
Radhika whispering: yes really. That why I hiding. I want my bubble bath.
Gauri whispering: accha.
Om: Radhika? Radhika where are you?
Radhika whispering: don't say anything, okay?
Gauri whispering: okay Radhika.
Om came into the kitchen and asked: Gauri, have you seen Radhika?
Gauri: no, I have definitely not seen Radhika.
She pointed down and Om went to the kitchen counter and saw Radhika hiding behind Gauri. He went behind her and picked her up.
Om: I found you!
Radhika: kya? Mummy, tu bhi na.
Gauri: what 'tu bhi na'? I didn't say anything.
Radhika made a face and then looked at her dad.
Radhika: daddy, please let me have bubble bath.
Om: why?
Radhika: I love them and mummy no know how to get perfect bubbles, only you.
Gauri rolled her eyes as she decided not to resume cooking since she got a text from work so she went to her room. Om took Radhika from the kitchen so he could clean her. Gauri smiled hearing Radhika complain to Om about wanting a bubble bath. Om had been an amazing father to Radhika and even though there was nothing between them, Om still made her feel butterflies whenever he was close to her or when they were watching a movie with Radhika and Om would fall asleep on her laps or on her shoulder. Om still made her feel butterflies when they would have late night talks about life or about Radhika or about any random thing.
Om went into the bathroom and kept Radhika down. He bent down and said: daddy is just going to get your pyjamas okay?
Radhika: okie dokie, I want my pink kitty cat pyjamas and a bubble bath.
She fluttered her long eyelashes at her father, he smiled, kissing her cheek.
Om: okay fine you win. Bubble bath and your kitty cat pyjamas.
Radhika: and they need to be pink!!!
Om: okay baba. Just stay here and don't run off anywhere.
Radhika nodded as Om got up to get her pyjamas. He went into Gauri's room because Radhika's clothes were in her cupboard. He was an idiot for walking into the room since Gauri was putting on her work blouse.
Gauri: oh my god! Omkaraji, what the hell?
Om looked away saying: sorry Gauri, I didn't know but couldn't you lock the door?
Gauri: I closed the door because I thought that you was giving Radhika a bath.
Om: do I have x-ray vision to see through the door?
Gauri: Omkaraji, you can turn around now. I'm fully changed.
Om looked at her and sighed.
Gauri: and in case you didn't know this door does not have a lock.
Om: it doesn't?
Gauri: yeah it doesn't. Now if you are here for Radhika's pyjamas then...
She went to the cupboard and got out the pyjamas Radhika had requested for, keeping it in Om's hands.
Om: how did you know that these were the pyjamas she wanted?
Gauri: a mother knows everything, now tonight you have to make dinner, I got a shift at a restaurant. Please don't give into Radhika's pizza demands. We agreed on pizza once a month.
Om: you have met Radhika right? All she needs to do is look cuter than she already does and she gets what she wants.
Gauri: she is really daddy's little princess. The mother is the villain and the father is the hero, this is what she told me yesterday before you came.
Om: really?
Gauri: yes. Why does the mother always need to be the villain?
Om: I mean to a daughter, mother is the villain and father is the hero. Then to a son, mother is the hero and father is the villain. Anyway let's forget all about that, do you need me to drive you to the restaurant?
Gauri: no, my friend is coming in a couple of minutes to pick me up.
Om was about to speak when Radhika decided to shout from the bathroom: daddy, hurry up!
Rikara both smiled as Om went to the bathroom with Radhika's pyjamas. Gauri quickly turned to the mirror to put her hair in a ponytail, got her bag then went out of the room.
Gauri: Radhika, Omkaraji, I'm leaving, locking the door with my keys. Radhika, behave for your dad okay?
Radhika: okie mummy.
Gauri: bye.
Om and Radhika: bye.
Gauri went out of the house, locking the door. A few minutes later, Om and Radhika came out from the bathroom with Radhika dressed in her favourite pyjamas.
Radhika: daddy, bend down.
Om bent down and Radhika said: mummy not here. Let have pizza.
Om: arre lekin we had pizza last week. Now no more pizza till next month.
Radhika: please daddy. I want pizza.
Om: but pizza all the time isn't good for little girls like you. You need to eat healthy babu.
Radhika: mummy in charge of healthy. You in charge of good food.
Om: you are my princess right?
Radhika: haan daddy I am.
Om: and princesses always listen to their fathers right?
Radhika nodded.
Om: so will you listen to me if I say that today I will make paneer okay?
Radhika: okay daddy.
He kissed her forehead and told her to go play with her dolls so that he could make dinner. He went in the kitchen to start cooking. Soon he was done and called for Radhika. Radhika came running into the kitchen.
Radhika: yay! Paneer!
Om: let's go to the living room and I'll feed you.
Radhika nodded then ran to the living room, picking up the remote.
Radhika: today we watch Cinderella.
Om: Cinderella? Can't we watch anything else?
Radhika: no! Cinderella, only Cinderella.
Om: fine baba.
He put on Cinderella and started to feed his little princess whilst she focused on the movie. After her dinner was done, she crawled onto his laps and continued watching the movie quietly and with interest until they reached the end scene when Cinderella married her Prince Charming. They looked happy and they looked in love like her parents did. Radhika may be young but she could tell that when her parents were together, they looked in love. She could tell that when her father wasn't here, her mother would also look upset and don't tell Gauri this but she had heard Gauri crying quietly on the days that her father wasn't there. Whenever her father had to go, even he was upset, he would be upset to be leaving both Radhika and Gauri. She could see it in his eyes that he loved her mother a lot. Whenever Om would come, a glow of happiness would come on Gauri's face. She loved her parents and her parents loved each other, she could tell that they did...how long were they going to keep up with this only meeting Om on weekends? She wanted her dad full time. She could tell that her mother wanted her father full time.
Radhika: daddy?
Om: bolo princess.
Radhika: will you and mummy marry like Cinderella and Prince Charming?
Om was quiet, he never expected such a question from a 3 year old and yet here they were. His own daughter was asking him a question regarding marriage and that too to Gauri. Technically they were married because he did marry her in Bareilly and they never got a divorce but they didn't marry properly and it wasn't out of love. He kept his blood on her maag and carried her for the seven rounds only to save her from Kaali's goons...oh by the way did I mention that 2 years ago, Kaali suffered a heart attack and died? Isn't that great? Anyway back to the point...
Om: why are you asking this princess?
Radhika: all my friends, their parents are together full time but my parents, only sometimes together. You two should marry and then you stay here forever and ever and ever and we get baby brother.
Om: baby brother? Why baby brother?
Radhika: I need rakhi gifts. My friends have baby brothers or big brothers and they say that they get lot of gifts on rakhi from their brothers. I want baby brother and I want my mummy and daddy to marry.
Om: really?
Radhika: really.
Om: accha Radhika, I'm going to tell you something. Your daddy is quite silly, he was mean to your mummy so mummy decided to go and take a break from daddy. You came and I started visiting you every week. You know whilst visiting you, I started feeling love for your mummy but I don't know about your mummy. Marriage can only happen if two people love each other.
Radhika: mummy love you a lot.
Om: really?
Radhika: she cries for you in the night, don't tell her that I say. I suppose to be asleep at night.
Om: accha, daddy won't tell your mummy, pakka.
Radhika: good and you know, like Cinderella look at Prince Charming, mummy look at you the same way. Now marry mummy, buy a baby brother and life will be set.
Om: let's brush your teeth and put you to sleep.
He picked her up and she said: tell me a story okay?
Om: okay princess.
After making her brush her teeth, reading her a story then finally Radhika mata sleeping; he started thinking about what she was saying. He wanted to marry Gauri and from what Radhika had said, maybe Gauri still felt love for him. He had been a massive jerk to her in the past but he knew that he was wrong to be a jerk to her...he was an idiot for judging her without listening to her side of the story. He wished that he wasn't a jerk to her at the start and that he was willing to listen.
...
It was Wednesday, Om was at the moment in Mumbai and Radhika this time wasn't throwing tantrums, she had some very important work to do.
Radhika: mummy, I need to talk to you.
Gauri: what about sweetie?
Radhika: do you love daddy?
Gauri: what?
Radhika: do you love daddy like Cinderella loves Prince Charming?
Gauri thought for a minute or two...yes she did and she wanted to shout it from the rooftop that she loved Omkara Singh Oberoi. What should she say to her daughter?
Radhika: you quiet that mean you love daddy.
Gauri: how did you know?
Radhika: silence is very powerful.
Gauri mumbling: no more movies for you.
O.M:
Om: yeah, that is the ring size. I really like the golden ring with the ruby in the middle so please get that ready and I will pick it up on Friday afternoon. Thank you. Yeah have a good day too.
He cut the call and Rudy came up to him: bro who is the ring for?
Om: guess duffer.
Rudy: who could this ring be for....oh is for Gauri Bhabhi?
Om: maybe.
Rudy: tell me bro, is it for her?
Om: duffer, just be patient for your answer okay?
Rudy: but I want to know now!
Om: are you a kid? It's hard to believe that you are an adult now go and do what you do best, lifting weights.
Rudy: fine O, don't tell me.
He went and Om rolled his eyes.
...
It was Thursday and Gauri was walking with Radhika in the town centre. She saw a jewellery shop and took Radhika with her into the shop.
Gauri: accha bhaiya suno, where are your rings for men?
Shop person: right here mam.
He brought Gauri to where the men jewellery was kept. Gauri started looking at the rings, making Radhika confused.
Radhika: why are you looking at the rings for men?
Gauri: you are too small, I will tell you when you are older.
Radhika: why when I older? I am older now.
Gauri laughed and said: fine tell me this then, which ring is likely to fit your dad's finger?
Gauri showed Radhika two rings. Radhika carefully examined the rings and then pointed to the ring in Gauri's left hand.
Radhika: that one!
Gauri: pakka na?
Radhika: haan mummy, pakka. Now buy it and let go to park.
Gauri: okay!
...
It was now Friday, Om had picked up the ring and was driving to Delhi. Meanwhile in Delhi, Radhika kept annoying her mother asking every 5 seconds if her father was here yet. Gauri was tempted to put tape over Radhika's mouth but sadly there was no tape in the house so how could she tape Radhika's mouth?
Today she decided not to wear her salwar kameez like she normally did, a year ago Om had brought her a really nice dress because he heard her saying to Radhika that she liked the dress a lot. She told Om that he didn't have to buy the dress for her but he said that he didn't buy it because he had to, he brought the dress because he wanted to. She never had the chance to wear the dress because she never really got invited to parties and she was working a lot but today she decided to wear the dress.
She put on the off shoulder baby pink midi flowy dress, she got a hairbrush, brushing her long silky hair. She applied a baby pink lipstick, kajal...she was thinking to apply blush but her cheeks were already pink enough. She was also thinking to put bangles on but bangles and a western type dress...no it didn't go. She found a simple gold charm bracelet so she kept it on her left wrist.
Gauri picked up the ring box and said: today I will do it.
Radhika: wow you look like a princess.
Gauri turned to see her baby girl looking at her in awe.
Radhika: you look like Sleeping Beauty.
Gauri: really? How come?
Radhika: Sleeping Beauty wear pink dresses.
Gauri: I didn't know that.
Radhika: today we will watch Sleeping Beauty and then you will see.
Gauri: okay Radhika baba.
Radhika was about to talk when the door bell rang.
Radhika: daddy is here! Oh maybe he brought pizza.
Gauri rolled her eyes as she picked up the ring box...her daughter was only allowed pizza once a month yet she was damn addicted to pizza. Radhika and Gauri went to the door after the bell rang for the second time. Gauri opened the door to find Om dressed in a black suit, flowers in one hand and something else in his other hand.
Radhika: wow daddy, you look like a Disney prince.
Om: thank you jaanu.
He looked at Gauri, who was smiling seeing him.
Om: wow you look really beautiful.
Gauri: thank you. You too..I mean not beautiful, you look handsome, very handsome.
Om chuckled thanking her. He came into the house, Gauri locked the door. Once she looked the door, she turned to find Om on his knees.
Gauri: Omkaraji...
Om: don't say anything. Look Gauri...I was a jerk to you and that was because I didn't want to be weak anymore. Two girls came into my life once, lied to me and gave me nothing but pain. My mum was suffering from a one sided marriage and my dad was a jerk to my mum. I never wanted to be like my dad but unfortunately I did...I became an idiot to you. I gave you pain like my dad gave my mum pain. I'm sorry that you had to bear that pain. I'm sorry that you had to go through your pregnancy alone. I'm sorry. Even if I say sorry a 10000000 times, it still wouldn't be enough. I finally saw the light and realized how wrong I was in treating you the way I did. Gauri, I want to wake up every morning with you by my dad, I want to be with you hamesha aur forever, I don't want to see Radhika only on weekends and sometimes weekdays, I want to deal with Radhika and her cute antics every day. I want to marry you, shower you with hugs and kisses and I want to grow our family. I love you Gauri (he brought out a golden ring with a ruby in the middle) will you marry me?
Gauri was speechless. She didn't know what to say.
Gauri: I wanted to propose.
Om: then ask me, and then give me the answer, my knee is hurting.
Gauri went down, bringing out a golden ring and said: we all make mistakes, big or small and I don't want to think about the mistakes anymore. I am willing to forgive you for the mistakes and I also made mistakes. I shouldn't have pretended to be Chulbul. I'm sorry and just like you, I want you by my side forever and ever, I want to grow our family, I want to marry you so will you marry me?
Om: I asked first so give me your answer to my question.
Radhika: jaldi karo!
Gauri smiled and said: yes. I want to marry you.
Om: then I also want to marry you.
Radhika clapped in happiness as Rikara kept the rings on each other's ring fingers. They stood up, hugging each other, Om kissed her forehead then picked up Radhika. The scene ended on both kissing Radhika's cheeks.
