Don't you hate these things?

I feel like they break up the story, which, as an obsessive reader, is frustrating. I despise it. However, I know some people like to know what is happening, and since I am getting quite of bit of readers, I thought I owe it to you for you to know why I am not updating. 

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a kind of challenge where, for the younger people, at least, you set a word count goal for yourself and write like there is no tomorrow. I have never done NaNoWriMo before, so I am kind of ew to it. I am really far behind on my word count goals, and I need to work on that. This book I am starting to love like a baby, but I want to force myself to do this. I will not be posting for pretty much the whole month, unless I am ahead of my goals, which it doesn't look like that will be happening. 

I am sorry for those few who like my little story. I can direct you to other books if you want, or even make a separate story out of my NaNoWriMo novel, and you can read that while you wait for me to get back into writing the actual book. Whatever you guys want, I am your man. 

Again, I am sorry for this. But I just...need to do this.
