☆chapter 3☆

"Her majesty has ordered a breakfast date with her daughter!" Lady Miranda, Azurine's Stewart, proclaimed in her very snobby voice. Lady Miranda has never liked Azurine because of how different she was compared to her mother.
"Why do I have to dress up then?" Azurine said as her chambermaids were attempting to wrap a black towel around her long dark hair after getting out of a bath. Azurine never liked fancy dinners and fancy clothes, so her chambermaids had a blast finding something fancy for Azurine to wear without Prisma dunking a bucket of water on them, (don't ask where she got them because not even Azurine knew!) Prisma, (who was awake now) was floating around holding her famous bucket of water ready to dunk it over the nervous chambermaids, who were attempting to get her down from the air.
"You must dress nicely because Her Majesty wants to breakfast with her daughter, and would prefer she doesn't dress like a pheasant!" Lady Miranda said sternly. Azurine rolled her eyes, just because she didn't like fancy dresses, didn't mean that she dressed like a so called 'pheasant', she never liked to describe the subjects of her kingdom like that.
BANG! Azurine jumped, and her chambermaids screamed and whined. She looked towards the screams and saw her chambermaids drenched in water with Prisma's bucket next to them. Her red glowing eye, (that were glowing brightly) met Azurine's eyes and she giggled mischievously.
"Oh for Hells sake! Control your entity!" Lady Miranda growled at Azurine as she picked up a pillow and chucked it at Prisma. It missed, Prisma hissed like a demonic cat and disappeared into the shadows.
"You scared her!" Azurine was furious at her Stewart! Lady Miranda ignored her and commanded the still drenched chambermaids to grab a dress for Azurine to wear. An hour later and Azurine was infront of a giant black jewel encrusted mirror looking at her reflection. One of Azurine's eyes was a deep vibrant royale purple and had a sharp four poin ted star for a pupil. The other eye was a plain and dull green. Her long brown hair with magenta purple ends was braided and tied in a bun. It was revealing her very odd birthmark in the middle of her pale white forehead, it was the same deep royale purple as her eye and it was in a shape similar to a target one would shoot with an arrow. The dress picked by her chambermaids was long slightly fluffy gown with a dark magenta color. This happened to be the one fancy dress Azurine could tolerate, but she wouldn't wear it on a day to day basis. Though she'd much rather wear her typical small dark purple skirt, comfortable light indigo corset and long sleeves. She would wear a dark magenta purple knitted hooded shoulder cape like shawl that her grandmother left her. Azurine's mother never liked her wearing it, but she couldn't do anything to it because, Azurine had put a protection and regeneration charm on it so her mother couldn't destroy it. Azurine looked longingly to her side at her strewn aside desk chair where her cape layed, she wanted to wear it but knew that her Stewart wouldn't let her even if she tried to.
"This will have to do." Lady Miranda said exasperated, "Now, you need to get to your mother daughter breakfast!" She said fuming. Azurine was pushed out of her room into the corridor while her chambermaids were cleaning up the water that was poured on them. Azurine began walking to the staircase. Suddenly there was a small flash like sound and Prisma was floating in the air infront of her.
"I keep forgetting how awful your Stewart is!" Prisma exclaimed, her voice was very similar to Azurine's, just higher and more childlike, "'control your entity!' She doesn't know how to have any fun" She mocked.
"Not that I'm disagreeing with you, but you did drop a bucket filled full with water on the chambermaids." Azurine responded, now decending the long spiral darkly colored carpeted staircase, Prisma following beside her.
"Yeah, but if I hadn't, your chambermaids would have chosen that extremely big gown that you hate!" Prisma shuddered, Azurine didn't blame her, that dress really was disturbingly fluffy and big.
"Well then praise is deserved then!" Azurine chuckled, they were now at the bottom of the stairs. The entrance to the royale dining hall was just at the very end, had they really walked that much in just a short time? Prisma seemed to notice Azurine's discomfort because she then also noticed the entrance to the dining hall.
"Do you want me to stay here?" She asked
"Do you want to?"
"No, I don't"
"OK, but be careful, you know mother doesn't like you!" Her mother was always extremely cold to Prisma, though Azurine never knew why. Prisma shrugged at Azurine's thoughts. Azurine took a deep breath once they reached the entrance, and opened the door to her mother waiting at the end of a very long and regal table.
"Hello my daughter... And, Prisma" The Queen of Darkness welcomed coldly.

(author's note: I don't know how to describe Azurine's birthmark very well, feel free to give ideas to my friend and she'll relay them to me so I can decide!)
