Azurine awoke with a start, her face beaded with sweat. She sat up on her royale purple bed trying to gather herself.
"What was that?" She whispered as to not wake her sleeping mother in the room across her bedchamber. Azurine turned her head to her window to see if there was any light coming from it. Nothing, it must be around midnight, she thought to herself. She lit her lamp, and scanned her bedchamber, the warm flame illuminating a majority of her room. She attempted to remember what she had been dreaming of when she woke, but only flashes and the sound of a baby crying came back to her. It always seemed familiar to her. Azurine then noticed a letter glimmering on her desk by her window, she walked towards it calmly, assuming it was one of her friends. When she got closer the the paper, she noticed that it had a shimmering teal blue scale in the corner of it. Azurine smiled to herself, of course Jenna of the Ocean Kingdom would send her a letter at this time of night. Her sleep schedule was worse than Azurine's annoying recurring dream. She did wonder how Jenna had managed to get this letter up to her window in the first place, considering her room was on one of the highest towers in the castle, and Jenna's dark entity that Azurine had created for her couldn't fly, so she must have had Riya contact Azurine's own dark entity: Prisma, through their connection with darkness. Azurine scanned her room once more, this time looking for her little black demon. She wasn't sleeping in her corner hamoc, so she must be hanging out with Riya, and Angel. Angel is Azurine's other friend: Angie of the Light Kingsom's Light entity. Azurine, Jenna, and Angie were the only ones who had entities. Azurine and Angie got them at birth, and Azurine had created Riya for Jenna using their powers, along the power of the deepest depts of the Ocean, to create and give life to Riya. Crap, I got distracted again! I forgot to read Jenna's letter! Azurine scolded herself for letting herself get lost in thought again, who knows how long that was going on for. She looked back to the letter, brought it closer to her and squinted so she could see the writing more clearly. It read,
"Dear Azzy, i hope you see this before your chambermaids do because I need to tell you something, meet me in our secret place ASAP! P.S, Riya and Prisma say, 'Hi!'."
What does Jenna need to tell me? Azurine wondered as she walked back to her bedside to grab her glasses. Feeling too lazy to change out of her purple nightgown and slippers, she slowly opened her door to peeked out and looked for any guards patrolling the wing. When she saw no one, she closed her door and walked towards her closet. In her closet, was a small dark brown leather book the size of her fists put together. The book had a traditional YinYang burned into the front. Azurine walked into the closet and closed the door behind her, she didn't want the book laying around when she left. She closed her eyes, opened the book, and was immediately sucked in with a burst of blinding white light! When Azurine reopened her eyes, she was standing in a beautifully lit enchanted grove full of tiny fireflies. Fairy lights and lanterns hanging from tree to tree.
"I was wondering when you'd see my letter!" A very familiar voice said behind Azurine. She turned to look at a girl standing by a nearby pond, she was about an inch taller than Azurine with short blond hair with parts of turquoise. She was wearing a teal beach dress with straps, but what was the most peculiar about her, was a small teal blue fish like tail poking out the bottom of her dress.
