Jason POV

Things have been going good for us three, Christian and Cale have been amazing mates. They are so caring and loving. Since we mated, it’s been amazing. We are a lot closer now and Christian is happy. Cale said he hasn’t seen Christian like this since he met him over two years ago.

I’m sure everything he’s been through has been horrible, I can’t even imagine it. I’m just happy he’s happy and has mates for life. He is so sweet and loving and the way he speaks, gosh I can just melt!

The triplets and Andrew have been spending a lot of time with Cale and I while Christian has been traveling to other packs since he is the Alpha King and he has gone to many vampire covens and has been working on alliances with them.

It isn’t going that smoothly since werewolves and vampires are naturally enemies so it’s taking longer than expected but he is determined to get it done for one because he is part vampire and two because of me, if we can prove that we get along which of-course we do since we’re mates than it should prove that it can work.

Cale and I know he can do it, we just gotta have trust and faith in them for them to open their eyes and see that we’re not so different. We all just want to live in peace and avoid attacks and death. Having working together will avoid a lot of drama.

“Hey, you, what are you doing?” Cale asked me as he walked outside on the deck.

“Just reading, enjoying the morning. It’s a nice day. What do you want to do today? I don’t want to stay inside all day, it’s to nice to be inside.” I asked and he sat down next to me.

“Well we could take the kids to the lake, pack a picnic and let them play in the water. It will give Liam and Spencer a break and it lets the kids play. I know they miss their papa, so it’ll take their mind off him for a bit at least.”

“That sounds like a good idea. You pack Andrew’s stuff and I will go let Liam know so he can get the triplets ready and we’ll pick them up on the way out.” I said and got up and kissed his lips softly before walking off.

It took a few minutes to reach the pack house and I walked in and saw Liam and Spencer coming down the stairs.

“Hey just the men I am looking for. Cale and I are going to take Andrew to the lake, and I came to tell you to get the triplets ready and we’re going to take them as well, that is if it’s alright with you of-course.” I said and Liam hugged me.

“I will go get them ready. Thank you, Jason!” He said and ran back up-stairs and Spencer chuckled.

“Things that stressful?” I asked him and he shook his head.

“No, they just miss their papa and have been crying on and off since yesterday afternoon. We gave them the blanket that smells like him to cover with, but they wanted nothing to do with that. Being with you all will help I’m sure. He needs to get back soon. It’s been a couple months now.” He said and I agree with him. I miss my mate so much.

“Yes, he does. Alex Ann and Aaron and Andrew all need him just as much as we do.”

“That they do. I’m just glad we all get along well and there are no hard feelings towards raising the pups because we are all apart of their lives and I was worried that there would be issues with raising them, five parents to four kids well three but you get what I mean. It’s a lot for a child to handle as much as us.”

“I understand, we have a unique way of doing things but it works for us. Let Liam know I went home to help pack the truck and will be back in at least fifteen minutes to get the kids. See you soon.” I said and he nodded and I walked out and went back home.

I walked in and Cale was just getting the rest of the bags ready and I grabbed the cooler and took it and put it in the back of the truck and Cale followed with the bags.

Andrew got in and buckled himself in and Cale got in the drivers side and I made sure the house was locked after I changed into swim trunks and grabbed a spare change of clothes and locked the door and we went to pick the little ones up and headed to the lake.

It took twenty minutes to get to the huge beautiful lake and when we got there Andrew helped his little siblings out of the truck and they all waited for us to get everything out of the truck.

We made our way to a spot that wasn’t to crowed by other wolves and I put a huge blanket down and Andrew helped put sunscreen on his siblings as Cale was setting up chairs and an umbrella.

After the little ones were all done Andrew came to me and wanted me to apply sunscreen to him so of-course I applied some to him and when that was done they headed to the water and sat down where the water meets land.

As I was watching them I couldn’t help but wish Christian was here sending this family day with us and Cale put his arms around my waist from behind and sighed.

“I wish he was here to Jay, things aren’t the same without our other half with us. I miss him so much, I wonder how he is going to take the news that four more pups are joining our family in a few months.” Yea that’s another things, Cale and I are both carrying, we got pregnant the night we mated before Christian left on his mission so he doesn’t know yet.

“I’m sure he will be thrilled my love. He knew it was possible since he didn’t use a condom, we haven’t any time we mated so it shouldn’t come as a surprise you know.”

“I know that, it would just be nice to have him experience this with us since he didn’t have any idea about the triplets and that was hard on him, he left came back to a pregnant mate and now he left and will come back to two pregnant mates, I just don’t want him to feel like we hid it from him for any reason. I know we could tell him on the phone when we call each other but it isn’t the same.” At that moment his phone rings and it was our mate so he put it on speaker when he answered.

“Hey handsome, we were just talking about you. How are you?” Cale asked.

“Well I came home to find my home quiet and empty so thought I would call and see where my mates are because I miss you both terribly.”

“You’re home? That’s great! We’re at the lake, we got here a little bit ago with the kids so come join us. The kids would be happy to have you surprise them baby.” I said and he chuckled.

“Ok I’m going to change and I will be there soon. I love you both.”

“We love you too.” We said and he hung up after that.

“Well now is our chance to tell him we’re going to have his pups, I want to do it in a special way. Make him dinner and make a cake with pink and blue icing and write you’re going to be a papa again on it and have pictures of the sonogram with the handmade card  Andrew made that has the kids handprints we helped them with for their papa so I think it would be a nice surprise for him.”

“That sounds perfect. He’ll love it. Let’s go grab the kids and take them in the water, it’s hot out.” I said and stood up and Cale followed.

We reached the kids and I took Ann and Aaron while Cale grabbed Andrew and Alex and we took them into the water and played with them until I heard the most sensational voice.

“There is my beautiful family!” Christian said waving and smiling at us.

“Papa!” the kids screamed and tried to wiggle out of our arms so we quickly went back to land and put the kids down.

They ran into Christian’s awaiting arms and hugged him tightly and managed to knock him back on his back and they all piled on top of him.

“Hi my beautiful pups, I have missed you so much.” Christian said and kissed each of the kids foreheads. They giggled and kissed him back and were smiling and eyes sparkling looking at their papa.

They got off him and I helped him up by grabbing his hand and the sparks shot through my whole body and I shuddered in pleasure and moaned softly when I felt his hand cresses my cheek. He leaned in and placed a soft kiss on my lips and I returned the kiss and slightly deepened it.

He pulled away after a couple minutes and kissed Cale and after that we enjoyed the rest of the afternoon at the lake until the kids were getting tired so we packed up and went home.
