Christian POV

One month and the pain is eating me alive, I do not think I will ever get through this. I have no idea how many "mates" I have come across and had to avoid because of this fucking curse! I wish I never figured out who the hell I am because this is literal hell I am going through. 

I can't eat or sleep. I can't focus on anything and I am so tired, and I haven't shifted since I left. I am feeling myself slowly die and I don't know how the hell to get through this. This pain and hell is more than I thought it would be. 

I don't know how normal humans handle a heart break because this, this isn't what I wish on any wolf to go through. The only thing that helps just a smidge is drinking, I have been drinking almost daily from when I wake up from the little sleep, I get till I can hopefully sleep. The brightness in my eyes and smile has faded into blankness and my heart is so numb I can't even feel it beating anymore. 

I'm so numb and lost that I don't even feel my wolf Omen much anymore, he is just as bad as I am, I can feel it. Why would the "amazing moon goddess" do this to us? Why would she put precious child through fucking hell like this? Does she find it funny to see me in this kind of pain? 

Thing is, this is what my whole life will be like. I will always feel like this and I will always be alone no matter what. 

As I'm sitting at the bar drinking a JD straight on the rocks, again I get the scent of that strawberry vanilla and pine and I can't help but try to find it, but I don't want to. I don't want to go through this.

I just want to give up on everything. 

As I get up, I can sense that scent a lot closer to me and I look beside me and I am met with the most intense pair of hazel and blue eyes black hair with blue tips, honey skin and a billion-dollar smile. He is truly beautiful and smells oh so amazing. He has the smoothest skin under his black silk shirt that is showing the right amount of his chest and gosh I can get lost in him if I let myself. 

I'm about to walk off but he smiles at me and when he speaks, my knees go weak. 

"Hey, I'm Adam." I close my eyes and shake my head. I about lose my balance as I try to sit down but I catch myself. 

"Hi, I know who you are. I have been a fan of yours for a long time, I admire you. I'm Christian, pleasure to meet you Adam." 

"Pleasure is all mine cutie. You alright?" I guess I was so lost in his eyes that I didn't realize I was staring at him until he asked if I was alright. 

"Hm? Yea I'm alright, just recovering from a heart break, bond break and my miserable life." He looked at me confused and I realized that I must sound like a nut job because not everyone knows about us. 

"Yea, werewolf, kinda the king of all Alpha's and Vampires. Found out I will never be able to have a mate for more than maybe a week because no one other wolf is like me to be able to keep that bond strong with me. I was mated with a wonderful guy, but I had to force break it after I found out what I did because I couldn't put myself nor him through that pain any longer than we already are suffering right now." Here it comes, he is going to run and call the psycho hospital and have me admitted. I do sound crazy to myself speaking to a human about this so I can just imagine what he is thinking. 

To my surprise he doesn't move, instead he asks for a bottle of JD and gives it to me. I smiled and nodded. 

"Thanks, what I said doesn't like freak you out or anything, make you want to run and have me admitted for being crazy?" He didn't say anything for a while so I just took drinks out of the bottle, knowing I can heal myself so I can drink as much as I want and not get drunk. His voice brings me out of my self-drinking party. 

"Well no not really but, can I ask you a question?" I nodded. 

"Who says it has to be a wolf you mate with? I mean you said no other wolf is like you, but you are also human and a pretty fucking hot one at that so why can't you have a human mate? Try that out and if it lasts for more than a week and so on, well there you go." He has a good point; the moon goddess didn't say I couldn't or wouldn't find a human mate after all. So, what the hell, if he freaks out what harm could it do to me more than I am already going through?

"Well since you said that, about a month ago when I was leaving a hotel, I caught your sweet scent of strawberry vanilla and a hint of pine and when a wolf catches a sweet scent like that, usually means they are our mate..." I didn't say anymore and let him ponder on what I said. After a minute his eyes go a little wide. 

"You mean I am your mate?" I nodded looking down, not wanting to see his eyes because I can't handle that look of disgust right now. 

"But I won't mate with you, I can't do that to you. You have this amazing life and mates are stronger together and weaker apart and the need to be near each other when apart can make you feel like you are going insane. I won't and can't put you through that." I was still looking down, I didn't want to see his eyes. I didn't want to see his face and feel like I have lost another mate. 

"Hey, look at me please?" I slowly raised my head and looked into his eyes and I gasped at what I saw, I saw anything but disgust and rejection, I saw lust and want in his eyes. I blushed a little bit, thank the goodness it's dim in here. 

"Let me make that choice, I understand some what of what you told me and if you say I am your mate, well shouldn't we give this a go and see where it goes? I have been alone for a long time and I have been looking for the one and if your him, no matter how, I would love to give it a try." He said that in the most honest and sincere voice I have ever heard from a human. 

I felt my heart flutter and my stomach do flip flops. I grabbed his chin and leaned in to kiss him, he got the hint and did the same to me, once our lips touched, I felt myself come to life and felt on fire from the light touches of his soft sweet tasting lips and I felt my wolf go crazy inside clawing and howling 

"MATE MATE MATE!!" He was pretty excited that I couldn't help but chuckle and Adam stopped kissing me. 

"What is so funny?" He asked breathless looking into my eyes. 

"My wolf is going a little crazy right now screaming and howling inside. It's been a hard month of feeling like were dead so once our lips touched, we felt ourselves come back to life instantly. See we only had one night with Liam, that was the night I shifted into Omen and he marked Drake/Liam. Our wolves have their own names, so we each marked each other's wolves and ourselves. Only one night with him and that was the first time I had made love, the only time." 

"Wow, well we can change that if you want?" l bit my bottom lip trying to hold back the moan that was in my throat as he was tracing his fingers along my thigh. 

"I don't bottom, being the top Alpha and all." He blushed, with my heightened sense of site I could see his face turn a bright red. I felt my eyes turning Omen's color because he can smell Adam's arousal and when Adam saw them, he got lost in them and was moving his head back and forth trying to take them in. 

Omen just let him and sniffed him as he got closer. 

"If you choose to be our mate, we must show you who we are. Come." Omen spoke and Adam's body shivered and grabbed my hand and I took him outside out back away from the bar into a park that had thick woods so I would be protected from eyes. 

"What are we doing out here?" Adam asked. Omen didn't answer, he just stripped me in front of Adam and I felt his eyes on my body for just a few seconds before we shifted. 

"It feels great to be able to be free again Christian." Omen said in my mind.

"I'm sorry it's been so long Omen, I know you don't like to be kept in for long." 

"It is alright, Adam seems like a good mate to show ourselves to him." I didn't reply I just let Omen do whatever he wanted to do with Adam, as long as he doesn't hurt us of course. Adam stands there stunned but he hasn't ran away screaming yet so that's a good sign. 

He walks closer to Omen who is laying down, not wanting to scare Adam. He walks over to him and pets him, Oman purrs at the soft touch and sighs deeply and breaths heavily through his snout. 

"Wow, you are beautiful and breath taking." Adam says breathless for the second time tonight. 

"If you choose to be our mate, this is what you get Adam. There is another part of us, but we haven't discovered that part yet, if you choose us, we will devote our life to you. We will protect you with all that we are, we will never leave you alone unless you asked. You will always have us." Omen said in an assuring tone. 

"Ok, what do I have to do?" He shocked us both that we can't seem to speak at the moment. Adam doesn't seem to notice as he is checking out Omen, he is trailing his hand along his back from his head to his tail and he rubs the side of his belly. 

Omen rolls on his back and Adam rubs his belly. It makes me chuckle. Omen is being a big baby and it's adorable. I take control for a moment. 

"Adam?" I speak from my wolf form and he snaps his head toward my voice and walks to see me. 

"Wow you can talk in this wolf and he can talk in your human? That is so awesome!" I couldn't help but laugh at how cute he is. 

"Yes, it's who we are. At times he will have full control and I won't be able to take it back until he gives it back to me and same goes for me, I will have control and won't let him. It's weird I know but it's how we are. To answer your question to accept us as your mate, all you have to do is state your name and say that you accept me and Omen as your mate. Now I can explain it more to you if you want, I didn't really give a good explanation to you about what it requires." He nodded and I went on. 

"If you choose to accept, we will mate meaning we will have sex in my human form by the way, as well with wolves when we both would climax we would extend our fangs and bite each-others necks but it'll just be me doing that to you, that will mark you to me, your blood will be in my system and mine in yours, I will bite my tongue and let my blood into your system, that way our scent is on each other, inside your bodies. It doesn't hurt, in fact it makes the sex and climax so much better. I am not part of a pack, since I found out about what I told you, I left the one I was in so if you choose to accept me, I can go anywhere you go. I will always be with you. If and when the bond breaks, you must understand that, it could happen and it won't be easy on either of us. There is no way to know for sure. You can take time to think about it, it doesn't have to be right now. I will wait as long as it takes for you to be comfortable and if you're not, then I will need you to tell me you reject me, same way you would if you accept. It's wolf ways, if you don't and we don't mate, I can die if you don't reject me and don't want to be with me. Fine print stuff honestly." He doesn't say anything for a bit before he opens his mouth and speaks words that will change for the better or worse...
