Tropical island ^^
Cale POV
“Are we packed? Are the kids packed?” Christian asked as he clasped his hands together with a huge smile on his face.
"We would be packed but you have yet to tell us where we’re going.” Jason said as he looked at our mate and I snickered. It’s just like Christian to be spontaneous and plan a trip out of the blue.
“It’s a tropical island that’s all I have to say. It’s not Hawaii either. It’s going to be great for everyone.” Christian smirked and we both shook our heads and smiled.
“No hint at all? Do the kids know? Or Liam?” I asked looking at him. I don’t need to freeze my ass off if this place will get cold at night. I also don’t want Liam to think we’re just taking the kids without talking to him first. He is their other parent and his opinion matters, just like he talks things over with Christian when it comes to them.
“It’s going to be hot, so pack light and cool clothes. Pack for about a week. The kids have no clue and I asked him to stop by to talk to him about it.” He said and left our bedroom.
Before we could even lift a finger, Christian was by our side and grabbing our bags and so we headed down.
“Morning Liam.” I said once I saw him although the kids were using him as a jungle gym and climbing all over him.
“Morning Cale, how are you?” He asked with a smile.
“Trying to get answers from Christian but he’s not letting up.” I said and he smiled.
“I’m sure you’ll love the trip as well as the kids. They’re excited.” He smiled and I nodded. Christian is quite the romantic.
“Well for the record I consent to the kids going if that’s what’s troubling you.” He said and the triplets were bouncing up and down.
After breakfast was finished. We all spent time helping the kids pack and packed the car.
“See you in about a week.” Christian said to Liam and he nodded as we all got in the car and drove to the airport.
The checkout process was pretty easy going. I’m so glad the kids enjoyed it. It made future trips more possible.
The flight itself took a few hours and I was grateful to get the much needed rest. Having Christian home has been much needed in so many ways.
When we got to the hotel, it was enormous. It was like a full apartment in a room. Ok, maybe not a full apartment as there was no kitchen. It was as if they opened up the wall separating the rooms. So all in all we got four rooms and a huge living area with a balcony.
Up to this point Jason and I were blindfolded, the kids wouldn't want something over their eyes for so long.
“This place is crazy.” Andrew said looking at everything and taking a tour of the hotel room.
“Welcome to Kaileo, the hotel is the Kaileo hotel. Breakfast is included and paid for, there’s a spa, indoor pool, as you can see there’s a beach.” Christain said gesturing outside towards the balcony.
I can’t believe he did all this. When did he even have time to do this?
“Thank you so much for this.” We all hugged him and we all looked around the room this time.
“I already love it.” Jason said and I had to agree. I was obsessed with the hotel. I could only imagine what the rest of the week is going to look like.
“I’m glad you all love it. Are we ready for dinner?” Christian asked.
“We still have to unpack.” I said and chuckled. He’s so excited to be home and be with us. We are too so it’s ok.
“Ok but we have to unpack quickly. There’s a get together with all the staff and guests out on the beach we can’t miss.” He said like an excited kid.
“What time is the party?” I asked him.
“Six so that gives us all enough to unpack, shower and change and be out front to find our reserved spot that came with the room.” He said as we began to all unpack. It was about four, nearing five so we’d be cutting it kind of close if we’re all showering and changing.
After we were unpacked, showered and changed. We walked out to the beach just in time for the party.
“Even the water looks perfect.” I said. At every turn it’s crazy to see such a beautiful place. One not really known either.
“And we’ll be here for an entire week to enjoy it all.” Christian smiled and I smiled then looked over at Jason and Andrew who were chasing the triplets around.
“How did you manage all this in such a short time anyway?” I asked.
“The resort caters to supernatural clientele so naturally I made the call and thanks to their twenty four hour customer service, I was able to call late last night when you and Jason were sleeping. It’s the least I could do since I was gone for so long. I missed you all so much and wanted some alone time with my family and away from the pack.” He said and I felt the tears coming on. Damn hormones.
“Well thank you for bringing us to this amazing resort.” I smiled and kissed him as he wiped my tears.
“Are you hungry? There’s food being made right now.” He said and I nodded. None of us ate anything since we ate on the plane so I was starving.
“Ok I’ll be back with food for you and Jason.” He said and walked off to wherever the food was.
When he came back he had two plates filled with food.
“There you go, can’t leave you guys hungry or the pups.” He said before going back and Jason followed him, he’s probably going to get food for the triplets and Andrew.
As they returned I was rubbing my stomach with a smile on my face.
“What happened to you guys?" I asked.
“The line was pretty long and people wanted to talk to us and we didn’t want to be rude.” Jason smiled and so did I.
“I’m so beyond stuffed. I guess my eyes were bigger than my stomach.” I groaned as I readjusted myself in the beach chair.
“Well that just means the food was too good to stop yourself.” Christain smiled as they all started to eat.
“It was amazing for sure. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so much in one sitting.” I said and my mates chuckled at my remark.
“Then are you not wanting anything else?” Jason teased.
“I didn’t say that but for now I think I’m ok.” I said and looked out into the water and watched the sun beginning to set.
Around nine thirty the kids began to rub their eyes so we agreed to call it a night so as we said bye to the guests. We walked back to the hotel and to our room and got them changed. Then putting the triplets in their room and Andrew in his.
As we got to ours we were all so tired that the only thing I remember was Christian whispering good night to us both.
