A/N: Really not much to say except that since I wrote 'What is he to me?' several years ago when I was younger, I decided I'd write another Kyoya Tategami Love story with my more improved writing skill.

Prologue

" Ha! If you catch me, then maybe I'll battle you!" A young 7 year old girl shout as she ran through an open field surrounded by beautiful flowers in full bloom. The girl's hot pink colored locks flowing behind her in the soft breeze of a beautiful spring day. The girl was shouting at an 8 year old boy, whom had forest green hair, which was beginning to grow somewhat long.

"Hey! Just battle me pleeeaasee!!" The boy whined giving up and plopping down onto the freshly cut grass. Watching the boy stop chasing her, the girl turn and approached his collapsed figure, she then lead over to look at the boy's face.

" Your SOO boooorrinng!!" The girl whined, exaggerating her words with a dramatic twirl then a drop to the groud, so that she was now laying next to the boy on the grass. The boy scoffed at her words when a dramatic sad face in a way to pretend like he was actually hurt by her words. At his silly action the young girl punched him in the arm and quickly stood up and ran from him. The boy took no time in getting to his feet and chasing after her as he had done before.

"just battle meeeeee!!" He continued to whine as he chased her. The girl began to giggle at his desperation to battle.

"Fine fine we can battle." The girl declaimed quickly stopping and turning on the heels of her black flats to face him. The girl readied her bey and launcher to battle her finger already in the loop of the rip cord. A silly smirk spread on the boy's face as he mentally cheered and pumped his fist into the air. Once again the girl laughed at his action, the boy then quickly got out his launcher and bey and readied it. Both of the kids took a stance and flashed each other a competitive yet friendly look before starting the count down.

" 3........2.........1......Let it Rip!!" The 2 shouted in unison, simultaneously the beys flew off of the launchers and onto the small circle of concrete, which the kids had chose to be there battle field. The 2 beys one a green color with a green and golden face bolt with a lion printed on it, and another bey sky blue with a wolf face bolt. The green bey known as Rock Leone crashed into the blue one sending it back a little. The blue bey, Midnight Wolf in retaliation came rushing back at the green bey crashing into it and sending it into the grass, where it slowed to a stop.

"Aww maaann!!" Cried the boy, he picked up his bey returning it to its holder and flopping into the grass as the girl had done before. The boy let out a large sigh as he began to think about his dream. The girl flopped down next to him and began to watch the clouds.

" Hey Ayano... I'm gonna become the strongest blader ever!!" Declared the boy punching at the sky, then letting his arm flop to his side.

"Then lets become stronger together!" Suggested Ayano, sitting up and holding out her fist for him to hit with his. The boy, at her action copied and hit her fist.

"Okay!" He replied flashing again another smirk.

Several months later

"Yes Thank you for the gifts mister and misses Nagimoto we appreciate the goodbye gifts." Said Mr. Tategami with Kyoya, the boy who owned Rock Leone standing in front of him. Ayano waved to Kyoya with a sad look on her face. Kyoya was moving, leaving Ayano to be all alone. Ayano rushed over to Kyoya and hugged hin tightly then quickly pecked him on the cheek.

" I'll miss you Ace." Ayano voiced her sadness evident in her voice. Tears began to spill over ayano's cheek's as she hugged him, Kyoya too began to cry though he refused to admit that he was.

"Bye Princess." Kyoya replied the 2 of them referring to each other by there nicknames. Kyoya then pulled from the hug and left with his father, leaving Ayano waving behind him.
