I had just got out of the shower, and had my robe on. I was about to change into my pj's when I heard a slight growl.

I smirked and went to the walk in closet and closed the door. From the other end I heard an annoyed huff. I laughed and put on a tank top and shorts.

I walked out to find Brendon shirtless with basketball shorts laying down.

I laid down next to him inhaling his scent. He turned and looked at me his eyes filled with love. I smiled and yawned.

"Tired red." He smirked.

I nodded and turned on my side. I've never been able to sleep on my back or stomach. He turned on his side and wrapped his arms around me.

I woke up and it felt empty. I sniffed and nothing I whimpered and got up.

I got dressed in my training clothes, and walked out our room.

I went downstairs and heard talking and shuffling around the kitchen.

I walked in, and ignored everyone as I grabbed a bowl and milk and poured my ceral.

"Ah if it isn't miss snapy." I heard a female voice.

I growled and turned around to find Sandra smirking at me.

"What do you want." I snapped at her.

"Well since we didn't finish our last discussion thought we would." She said looking at her nails

"There's nothing to talk about Sandra they're dead I saw them in the casket I WATCHED AS THEY LOWERED BOTH OF THEM IN THE GROUND SO DON'T GIVE ME THAT BULLSHIT!" I shouted people scrambled out cause my voice was filled with power. Sandra was taken aback.

I heard footsteps running down the stairs and the front door open with footsteps running towards me.

My wolf was focused on Sandra she was angry. My eyes were probably pitch black. I stepped forward and she stepped back.

"WELL APARENTLY YOU ARE WRONG TARA CAUSE THEY ARE ALIVE SO EITHER BELIEVE OR-" She yelled but I cut her off my voice low and deadly.

"Or what" I stepped forward " you gonna do something to me huh or do you think I'll believe empty threats."  I snapped.

I felt someone touch my shoulder tingles shot down my arm. I turned around and was face to face with Brendon I calmed down and he hugged me I hugged back putting my face in his chest.

I heard the Alpha speak.

"What is going on down here?" He asked.

I turned around to speak but Sandra beat me to the point.

"I was trying to explain to miss snappy about her parents and hw SHE'S being a naive stupid teenager." She half said and half shouted at me.

I heard Brendon growl behind me.

'Oh no' I thought

He stepped in front of me. Everyone knows not to insult someone's mate.

The Alpha even stepped back an angry mate is not one to be messed with.

His eyes darkened.

"Don't you EVER insult my mate like that" as quick as ever Sandra was pinned up against the wall "If you EVER EVER insult her again I'll make sure you never speak again GOT IT" He shouted.

She nodded and Brendon dropped her, and he turned around and went behind me wrapping his arms around my waist.

Sandra got off the ground and looked at the Alpha he glared at her.

"Leave this house immediately." He ordered.

She ran out the door, and I started to break down. If it wasn't for Brendon holding me I would of collapsed.

My parents died when I was 5 and I still remember everything. They died in a car crash I survived but they didn't. I remember climbing out the car and trying to wake them up. I remember sobbing pleading for them to get up. They guy who hit us died to someone saw and called 911. They tried to calm me down but I didn't listen I was too focused on waking my parents up. I came back from my memories.

I slowly sank to the ground Brendon followed me to the ground. I say in his lap putting my head against his chest.

He was 6 foot and I was 5"6 so he was able to hold me.

He picked me up I was silently crying while he carried me to our room.

He sat on the bed and I adjusted to sit in his lap.

Tears silently fell down my face and I started to get tired. I felt myself drifting into sleep.

I opened my eyes I was sitting in a car. I was in the backseat. I looked to my left a little girl was sitting in a booster. She had red eyes and was smiling and singing along to a song my favorite song "Innocence" by Avril. I then realized where I was that was me in I looked at the front my mom and dad smiling and singing along. The song was over and my parents started talking and I was playing with barbies. I dropped them I saw myself pout. I knew what was about to happen. I screamed to look out screaming but no one could hear me. A car slammed into us I heard my parents scream my y years old self screamed too. We flipped and then it stopped. I magically ended up in front of my parents......my dead parents I heard crying. I saw my self climb out the car crying and pleading for them to wake up then I did too my ghost like self screamed and cried begging and pleading.

I woke up to me screaming and tears running down my face and Brendon trying to wake me up.

I put my knees to my chest and rocked myself crying silently It was so vivid and real.

Brendon scooped me up and I started to calm down as he played with my hair.

He spoke soothing words to me.

"Shh baby it's ok it was just a dream that's it you're ok it was just a dream."  He said

I looked at him sadly.

"But it wasn't I was stuck watching my parents die right in front of me.....again." I explained with tears running down my face.

I saw a look of sorrow on his face and he just hugged me. It was around 6pm.

I had finally calmed down and wanted to cool off so I went to the woods and shifted running, jumping over fallen trees, and dodging tree branches.

I ran the an edge of a cliff and laid down and watched the sun set slowly. It was the only place except for Brendons arms I felt at peace.
