Onto the story. Prepare the feels

she paced back and forth in her room.

I have to do something to get her alone but what? She thought I can't just ask her to talk, she knows who I am. or at least, who I'm not.

She walked out onto the balcony and looked around. It was the middle of the day, everything was between calm and chaos in the town. Just enough foot traffic to keep people busy but not enough to make them mad. It seemed to her that everyone down there was always happy. She needed to change that, even if it was only one person.

A nock interrupted her thoughts and a familiar voice came through after.

"Hey Crystal, can I come in? It's me, Budder"

A grin formed on her face.

"Hold on! I've got to get ready" She replied, a plan forming in her mind.

Mineral marched up the steps of the tower and burst through the door to Seto's study. When she had come back to the castle she had wasted no time in going to see him. He had a lot of explaining to do.

She made it to his door and didn't stop to knock, bursting through only to see Seto running around as if trying to hide something. She knew what it was.

Seto was still running around, he hadn't noticed Mineral walk in and she was now leaning against the door frame watching him silently.

"Lose something?" she asked. Seto jumped in surprise and whipped around. His eyes showed his panic before he gained control of himself and stood up straight.

"No, just misplaced" he said flashing a smile. Mineral didn't return it and his faltered before he turned away.

"So, Mineral-" he started. She raised her hand, stopping him.

"I know you know" she said. "And don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about"

Seto stared at her in shock.

"H- how did you know?" Seto said "I haven't told anyone. I promise" Mineral snorted and walked into the room, closing and locking the door behind her.

"I know, but it seems there's a nosy enderman in the castle who learned about it" She said. Seto stared at her for a moment before it sank in. He again started to run around the office space before he finally bringing out a book.

"What's that?" Mineral asked. Seto smiled and walked over to the desk in the corner.

"Its how the 'nosy enderman' found your secret. And how I knew who you were when we first met" Seto said opening it. He stepped aside and beckoned her forward. Mineral hesitated before walking closer to take a look. She picked up the book as she read.

On a calm, silent night, a baby girl was born. She wasn't like every other baby though. She had a special ability-

She looked up at Seto confused. The only response she got was a nod to keep reading. She did

It wasn't just the fact she had powers. No, what made her special was her father. A murderous, betraying man who was feared all over the world she was just born into. He was known for being a criminal and was despised as much as he was feared.

But the girl-

She was interrupted by screaming and shouting outside. One look over at Seto and they were both running out the door and into the hall. They weren't the only ones though. All the others had heard and come running too and they were all standing in the hall. Mineral had to push her way through the crowd to see what was going on. She froze in horror once she saw what was going on.

"No! You don't understand! We're over Budder! OVER!" Crystal was screaming. Budder was standing opposite her with a look of disgust on his face.

"What did I do? What did I EVER do!?" he yelled back "Nothing! That's what I've done. Nothing at all!" Crystal looked at him with distain.

"You've changed Budder. I thought you were different" she said. Budder shook his head mad.

"No, I'm not the one who changed. You are. I thought YOU were different Crystal" his face turned to one of sorrow "but I guess not. Just go" Crystal looked at him surprised

"So that's it?" she asked, anger in her voice "That's all? that's it? We're just over?" Budder nodded

"Yep, that's what you wanted. Isn't it?" he asked. Crystal looked even more surprised and confused

"yes but-" she started. He cut her off by raising his hand

"Then that's what you'll get. I'll leave you alone" He said "But in return. Don't visit the Sky kingdom. You wont be welcome" And with that he turned and walked down the hall. Crystal watched him go with a passive face.

She didn't notice Mineral and the others watching her as she looked down at her hand. Orange magic enveloped it and she raised her hand, aiming at Budder as he walked. Mineral's eyes went wide. Quickly she stepped in front of Crystal before she could throw it.

"Hey!" Mineral said sternly as she moved to be standing in front Crystal "you can't use magic in the castle. Not unless you're in the training hall. And you defiantly can't kill anyone with it."

Crystal's magic went out in surprise. Her surprise soon turned to anger though.

"And who says I can't use my powers?" She asked. Mineral's gaze hardened.

"Me, the owner of the castle" She responded. Crystal took an involuntary step backwards. She quickly recovered.

"What makes you think you can boss me around?" Crystal asked "It's not like you could really do anything to me" Mineral raised an eyebrow

"What makes you think that?" Mineral asked. A grin formed on her face.

"Oh, this is good" She said circling Crystal "You think I'd be intimidated because your dad's Herobrine?" She couldn't help but laugh a bit at this. Crystal looked at her shocked again. And again, her shock turned to anger.

"Why are you laughing at that? If I ask him to he'd probably kill you" Crystal said sounding mad. She didn't notice Herobrine standing behind her.

"Oh really?" He asked "I would?" Crystal turned around and looked at him as he pushed through the crowd of astonished people, all color draining from her face.

"I, um,- I just thought-" She stuttered. Herobrine walked towards her with a smirk.

"It's ok Diamond but no I wouldn't." he said "The only way I would do that is if someone hurt you" Crystal smiled at him, pretending to be embarrassed. Mineral tried not to gag.

"Sorry, I just thought you'd help me with that" Crystal said looking at the ground. Herobrine smiled at her.

"No, but I can teach you how to killing. It could be like a father daughter day" Herobrine said. Mineral rolled her eyes.

"Ok, if you plan on doing that get out of my kingdom. You're not killing any of my people. Too many have died already" She said. Herobrine looked at her amused.

"And what would you do to stop us?" He asked. Mineral smirked

"Oh, you know. Being friends with Notch's daughter, plus since she helps me rule this kingdom it's technically hers too and I don't think you'd want to make your brother mad" Mineral said. The look on Herobrine's face slowly dropped.

"Really? You think that scares me?" He asked. Mineral shrugged

"Maybe, but I'm serious. Kill someone in my kingdom and I'll have you thrown out and hunted like most of the other kingdoms do and I'm pretty sure you don't want that"

Herobrine thought for a moment then sighed.

"Fine, but where can we go to kill then?" He asked. Mineral rolled her eyes.

"Why not go to a cave and kill some mobs instead of killing people?" She suggested. Herobrine snorted. He was about to say something when Crystal interrupted him.

"Actually, I'm not up for killing at the moment" She said looking at him and smiled. "maybe some other time?" Herobrine sighed and nodded.

"I guess" He said sounding a little crestfallen. Crystal nodded and smiled. Her gaze drifted down to look at Mineral's hand.

"What's that?" Crystal asked pointing at her hand. Mineral looked down and realized she was still holding the book. Quickly she put it behind her back.

"Its nothing" She said with a smile "just a book I'm borrowing from Seto" She had to fight from slapping Seto as she saw his smug grin like he won something.

"Can I see it?" Crystal asked. she reached for it but Mineral pulled the book away.

"Sorry, for now it's my eyes only" She said "maybe later" Mineral turned to walk away but a firm hand on her shoulder stopped her. She felt a warm breath breathing down her neck.

"Whatever you're hiding, I'll find out eventually" Crystal whispered in her ear before letting go and walking back towards Herobrine. There was silence in the hall. No one dared to move. It was as if electricity coursed through the air between them.

"yea, again, real intimidated" Mineral said walking off again. Crystal just glared at her back the whole way before walking back into her room.

The crowd dispersed as the two disappeared. Budder was nowhere in sight and Mineral was only interested in getting back to her room.

That didn't go as planned! Crystal thought as she paced She was supposed to get mad at me and challenge me or something! Not just stand there and argue! What am I going to do now?! How am I going to get her to show her true self?!

She stopped. An idea hit her as a smile climbed onto her face. She rushed over to her personal chest and took out the potion Israphel gave her. The plan formed in her mind and she knew it would work as she rushed off to the kitchens.

Mineral was out walking in the forest. She had the book tucked in a satchel over her shoulder and a cloak over her to hide her identity. It was never a good idea to walk through the forest with something visibly important or valuable and the more people who know who you are, the more at risk you are for being picked off and mugged.

Not that the forest was full of crooks. Just the opposite, there were hardly any since a dragon lived right next door and it didn't take too kindly to muggings but you could never bee to careful.

The reason Mineral was in the forest in the first place though was because she couldn't get any peace back at the castle to read the book she was now carrying.

She was just walking past a pond when she heard the familiar groans of zombies as they talked to one another. One thing she had learned since her powers had been awaken was that she could now understand almost every mob just as easily as if they were talking English.

They seemed to be cheering as Mineral moved to get a closer look. With the sun setting more and more mobs were coming out of the woods and closer to town.

The guards should be closing the gates soon Mineral thought. Still curious though she crept forward towards the group of zombies. The way they were moving she could tell there was something interesting them.

Probably just a piece of metal or something else shiny mineral though. She started to walk away when a terrified scream filled the air almost drowning out the zombies.

Mineral rushed back to the clearing and saw the zombies encircling a tree. Whatever it was they had already cornered but it was still fighting bravely. She couldn't get a clear look at it but knew, whatever it was, it was small but put up a pretty good fight. She could hear it as it tried to hit the zombies away but there were just too many. Her curiosity got the better of her. Drawing her sword, she ran forward and dispelled the small hoard. It didn't take much, a couple slices, several chops, one kick to the groin for one and most were gone. There was only one that seemed determined on it's meal. For that one she killed. The only one in a long time she actually had to in a long time. It's body slumped away from the bloody mess. Mineral, still being curious, walked towards it. It looked like a small child or animal.

She thought for sure it was dead, until it moved and let out a small, helpless whimper. Something told her it wasn't good but another part, smaller but not by much, knew it was going to die if she didn't do something. So she did. She walked up to it and looked closer.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me" She muttered before wrapping the little body up in her cape and hurrying back to the castle.
