A/N Part two!

Mineral stood behind one of the columns and tried to catch her breath. Everyone was still  talking and no one seemed to notice what was happening with her which Mineral was grateful for. Once she calmed down she walked over and watched everyone socialize. Kye was standing next to Notch as they talked with Ssundee and Drew. Sky, Deadlox, and Jerome were catching up with Bajan and Budder, Quartz, Fluffy, and Nova were talking with Cherry and Cap. Mineral noticed she wasn't the only one standing out. On the other side Herobrine and Creed were standing on the edge looking on. Creed standing behind Herobrine and Herobrine was watching everyone talk, like Mineral. She smiled and started walking over.

"Hey" She said once she was over there. She turned and watched the group again. Herobrine just looked at her stunned for a moment. Creed looked at her with a smile.

"Hi Mineral" Creed said smiling. Herobrine looked down at him puzzled then back at Mineral. She looked down at him.

"Hi Creed, how'd you sleep?" She asked. He smiled and stepped out from behind Herobrine.

"Pretty good" he said "I don't know how I got back though" Mineral laughed

"You fell asleep so I carried you back" Mineral said. Herobrine was watching stunned.

"What?" He asked. Mineral looked up and smiled at him.

"I went out last night for a walk and he and his sister had followed me out of the castle. I didn't know it until I was at one of the inns though" Mineral said laughing "I brought them back and ran into Briar after" She explained

"Really?" Herobrine asked looking down at Creed who was blushing and trying to hide behind him again. "Is that why your mother was so worried last night?" Creed was looking down at the ground but nodded slightly. Herobrine and Mineral laughed a bit.

"If I would have known that they would have been back here much sooner and it would have saved a lot of worrying" Mineral said. Herobrine shook his head.

"I should have been watching them closer. It was my job" he said. Mineral looked at him Puzzled with a smile.

"Ever since our daughter disappeared Briar and I have been switching off on taking care of them and looking for leads with our other daughter" Herobrine explained "She disappeared several years back after overhearing a fight between me and Steve about her and we've been looking ever since"

"What was her name?" Creed asked. Herobrine had forgotten he was there. Creed looked up expectantly at him.

"Her name was Diamond" Herobrine said sounding sad. Creed looked at him puzzled before a realization hit him.

"That's the same name as the girl from your stories!" He said smiling. Mineral smiled and swallowed, trying to get rid of the lump in her throat. She was almost tempted to tell them but she couldn't. She was too scared.

Just then a flurry of barking was heard outside the door and seconds later two wolves burst through the doors and started running around. One was a pup with a grey tipped tail and the other was a small wolf just a bit older with a bit of fresh scarring around its neck but they both seemed like they were happy. Everyone was watching as they ran around one of the pillars. The pup ran around one side and the other one waited until the pup stuck its head out the other side before jumping up from its crouch. The pup looked over at Herobrine and Creed and bounded over as the other one watched. It spotted Mineral and walked towards her.

"Sorry" Herobrine said as Creed picked up the pup happily "This one's ours too" Mineral smiled.

"That's ok, this one's mine" She said petting the small wolf. It nuzzled her before looking over at the doors again. They burst open and several guards ran in. They stopped when they saw everyone and bowed before the leader of the group walked up to Brandon and handed him a piece of paper. Brandon read it and walked over to Mineral.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but could I talk to you in private for a moment?" Brandon asked. Mineral nodded before turning back to Herobrine and Creed.

"I'll be back shortly but it was nice talking with you" She said and smiled before walking off.

She followed Brandon into the hall and down to the guards station. There were several guards in there already but one wave of his hand had them all out in seconds.

"What's wrong Brandon?" Mineral asked. He looked out the window.

"He struck again, in broad daylight" Brandon said and pulled out the piece of paper the guards handed to him. He gave it to Mineral.

Mineral stuffed it in her pocket.

"What does it mean?" Brandon asked pacing back and forth "I know you know but why wont you tell me? It could help catch this guy"

Mineral shook her head "It cant help that way, I only know what he's spelling out. If I'm right there will be five more and then it should stop" She said

"How do you know that?" Brandon asked stopping. Mineral sighed and looked him in the eyes.

"I know what he's spelling" She said

"What is he spelling?" Brandon asked "It could help stop him!"

"NO! It couldn't!" Mineral practically shouted. She lowered her voice and continued "It's part of the past I buried long ago and I wish it would stay buried. It doesn't help with what Kye did either"

"What did Kye do?" Brandon asked "Are you talking about her inviting everyone behind your back? She did it as a surprise for you, something to celebrate being leaders for Four years!" He said trying to make it sound good. She shook her head.

"No, she wants me to dig it back up and try to make peace with it" Mineral said "But I'm not ready for that"

"How would that happen with all the others here?" Brandon asked. Mineral opened the door and walked out.

"I've said too much already" She said over her shoulder. She walked back to the hall and opened the doors just as Kye was finishing the welcome.

"-And I hope you have fun tonight and enjoy the show!" She said finishing. She stepped down from the stage and walked over to the side. She spotted Mineral and walked over to her as everyone started walking out to go and explore the castle or town, each with a guard as a guide.

"What happened now?" Kye asked as the walked out together. Mineral's wolf walked over and followed them out.

"I think she needs a name" Mineral said petting it. Her tail started wagging happily

"Your getting off topic" Kye said. Mineral ignored her for a moment.

"How about Rancune (Pronounced ran-coon)? That sounds good" Mineral smiled and looked down at Rancune. "Yep, that's your new name" as if in response Rancune barked happily and ran around in a circle.

"Mineral" Kye said sternly "What happened now?" Mineral's smile disappeared and she looked over at Kye.

"He struck again" She said. Kye's face dropped

"In broad daylight? Is he crazy?" She asked

"I bet but somehow he knows" Mineral said "He's spelling my names out one letter at a time"

"We need to cancel the concert then" Kye sighed "If he's getting braver then we'll need to protect our guests and our people"

"No, keep it going" Mineral said "We cant just cancel it and let them down. We'll just double the guards"

Kye sighed "Fine but if there's another one before then the whole thing's off" and with that she walked off.

Mineral started walking around with Rancune following. She was just walking down a hall when she felt something behind her. She stopped and turned to see Cap coming behind her.

"Hey Min" He said smiling as he caught up with her. Rancune looked at him warily with her hair standing on ends.

"Mineral please" Mineral said

"So, you're the leader?" he said "Why didn't you tell us when we met?" Mineral shrugged

"I wanted to mess with you" She said smiling "I'm not able to get out that much. Too many problems with my kingdom and too many things to do"

"Sounds like you just need a break" Cap said. Rancune's hair was flat again and she was sniffing Cap with interest.

"whoa" Cap said as she pushed him into Mineral. She caught him and he stood up, although he still held onto her.

"Sorry, she's new" Mineral said blushing a bit. Cap noticed and let go.

"Sorry" he said blushing. He stepped back a bit

"Its ok" Mineral said "But you are right, I do need a break from the front lines"

Rancune walked over to her and yipped before running in front of her almost like she was herding them.

"What's gotten into you?" Mineral asked petting the wolf. Rancune grabbed her sleeve and started to pull her to the door.

"Whoa! Rancune, let got!" Mineral said as the wolf dragged her outside. She let go and bolted off, stopping at the edge of the of the side walk. Mineral stood for a moment staring at her.

"Rancune, come!" Mineral called. in response Rancune barked and ran off. Mineral followed with Cap close behind.

"Does she do this often?" Cap asked as he ran next to Mineral

"No idea. I just got her" Mineral responded. The two followed the wolf until they came to a tent where Rancune was sitting outside.

"Rancune, what were you thinking?" Mineral asked smiling. She bent down and pet her. Rancune seemed to smile and barked happily before running into the tent. Cap tapped her shoulder.

"Look what tent this is" He said. Mineral looked up and saw it said 'Hunger games'

"Think it might be coincidence?" Cap asked before walking in. Mineral followed. There was a small line of people and Rancune was sitting just inside wagging her tail.

"Lets sign up" Cap said as he stood in line

"I don't know, Kye might be looking for me" Mineral said looking back at the door

"You need a break right?" Cap said. Mineral nodded. They had reached the front of the line.

"Well, what better way than playing a game" Cap said as he signed them both up. He was smiling as he dragged Mineral along behind him.

"Come on! They'll be starting soon" he said as he towed her towards an arena. On the board there were faces and names. Mineral spotted hers right away. Hard to miss the bright hair. Her face fell when she realized she wasn't wearing her contacts. Her grey eyes were showing.

"Um, I'm not sure I can do this" She said as they came to the edge. Cap stopped and looked at her confused.

"Of course you can" he said smiling "Its really easy"

"No I mean, I forgot to put my contacts in" Mineral said hoping he would let her stand out.

"Do you need them to see?" He asked

"Well no but-" Mineral said

"Then you'll do just fine" he said smiling and dragged her into the arena. Rancune stayed up with the spectators and barked encouragement. Cap lead her to two platforms  next to each other and stepped on one.

"You get on the other one and stick close to me when it starts" He said smiling. Mineral nodded.

'The games will start in ten seconds' A speaker announced and a count down began

I giant canon boomed and Mineral turned and ran into the forest. She had played before and knew the rules. Don't run to middle, its a blood bath. The trees held food and most chests would somewhere hidden like a house or cave and sometimes on top of a mountain. And the most important, don't trust anyone.

She ran as fast as she could towards some ruins she saw through the trees.
