Chapter 3
(Time Skip to the Next Day)
Hermione's POV:
It was almost 7 in the evening. I had finally decided on wearing a grey Muggle hoodie with the word 'Oxford' written on it. She also had adorned some black trousers and some trinkets.
When she apparated to the Zabini Manor and had entered the premises of the infamous yet eloquent Zabini Manor, I could not help but be fascinated by the ancient manor, in which one of the most well-known pureblood lineage resided.
It somewhat looked more of a mansion than a manor, but nevertheless, I was still stunned by its spectacular exterior design. No wonder rich prats like Malfoy don't have brains. It's 'cause they have loads of money, but not a single brain cell.
As she inhaled sharply and deeply before knocking, the door abruptly opened and I met Blaise's and Malfoy's eyes.
"My lovely long-lost twin. What a pleasure to meet you. Please do come in." he politely greeted as he tried not to grimace at the sight of her clothing choice.
Draco simpered mockingly "Oh darling Merlin, who would've known it was Hermione Granger that was your long-lost twin. How surprising."
I plastered a fake smile as I answered "You see, I wouldn't have bothered to come here, but your dear mother" she turned to Blaise "Was practically begging me for it. So I had to pity her. After all, I'm human, unlike some inhumane gits." I eyed Malfoy up and down several times.
"After all, I had no intention to punch anyone in their face, today. But seems like my mind begs to differ." I glared at Malfoy and he silently excused himself to escape.
I did not even think I'd meet the same person who'd first call me Mudblood. Now, that he was gone, I sighed in relief as I followed Blaise suit to his, or should I say our, mother's room.
It looked exquisite, like the Queen's bedroom or some sort of room for royalty(A/N: Rest In Peace Queen Elizabeth.)
I was utterly speechless, until a high-pitched female voice with a slight posh Italian accent interrupted my plethora of thoughts.
"Ah. Ciao tesoro.Come stai, mia dolce adorabile figlia?"
Blaise, who was standing solemnly, right behind me, translated her words to English "She's saying 'Hi darling. How are you, my sweet, lovely daughter?"
I replied instantly "I'm doing well. How about you?"
Blaise translated my words back to Italian "sta dicendo che sembri e che sei un idiota."
Or so I thought.
Immediately, after he uttered out the words, Mrs. Aurore became infuriated.
At first, I thought she was going to kill me (probably because Blaise might have said something else) but Blaise got hit by a shoe heel instead on his face.
He groaned in pain "mamma, perche l'hai fatto?"
She answered firmly in perfect, fluent English with a slight Italian accent. "You're lying to me, did you forget that I can speak English?"
Blaise, who seemed incredibly appalled, stood up and said "Well, mother I can surely explain-"
"Get out, Blaise, before I summon the house elves."
When he did leave after loads of persuasion and curses that hit him straight on his face, she kissed me on both cheeks as a traditional Italian greeting.
"Ah, my darling daughter. You're all grown up, now." she smiled.
I slowly nodded, unsure of what to respond with.
"I say, you join us for dinner, and then you can decide if you want to stay. Now, we're getting late. If you don't mind, we better get down to eat."
I had no choice but to accept since she was basically dragging me along with her.
I sighed. Now I had to face two barmy gits who I've despised since I stepped foot into Hogwarts.
My long-lost twin and of course, that git, Malfoy.
This surely wasn't going to go well.
