Long Story Description:

In an undetected location deep in the Atlantic, the last remnants of the lost civilization of Atlantis dwell in the submerged city of Sitnalta.

The Prime, an elusive power source concealed in Earth's waters, is faltering—causing its self-generative properties to shut down. Unlike the Sun Dwellers (the rest of humanity), the Sitnaltians are aware of the Prime's existence and have limited use of its power. What they do not possess is the ability to solve the Prime's breakdown. While this doesn't impose an immediate threat to them, it will destroy the weather cycles of Earth, causing certain annihilation of plant, animal, and human life on a cataclysmic scale. Their moral responsibility toward those who live above the waters complicates their personal objectives.

As bad as this crisis is, the Sitnaltians have an even greater emergency—their race teeters on the brink of extinction due to sterility.

Decades earlier, they devised a plan to solve this urgent situation. Through a fertility clinic in New York City, USA, they genetically enhanced six embryos belonging to Sun Dwelling parents. Their intent was to request the voluntary help of these Chosen Ones once they reached the age of twenty-one.

Eighteen years in the making, the plan now stands threatened by the Prime's accelerated breakdown. Because of this, the High Council initiated the long-awaited Gathering. Six Sun Dweller teenagers are abducted and taken to Sitnalta.

The Bonding of the High Guardian's daughter, SEMYLYN, and the First Defender's son, TROYAK, with two of the Chosen, must take place to insure the continuation of their civilization.

With the fate of Earth's Two Worlds resting on them, the Sitnaltians complete the early gathering of six unprepared and uncooperative teenagers: JAG (A street-wise kid from New York), J. D. (A Texas charmer), ALEXANDRIA (A military brat), PIERSON (A rich kid from Boston), MIDORI (A delinquent from Chicago), and KELLY (A shy loner from Arkansas).

Jag, a loner with no aspirations, discovers he has inherited an underwater Kingdom, a wife, and the responsibility of saving two worlds. Alexandria finds herself bonded to a Defender—her worst nightmare. In the Bonding Ceremony, the Power of JATAR forever seals these four in a shared destiny.

Pierson, Midori, Kelly, and J.D. will complete the fellowship using their gifts of strategy, agility, healing, and invention. Through no desire of their own, these eight young adults will inherit a quest that will test their strengths, weaknesses, and their instincts to survive.

According to their archives, Sitnalta is only one of three Daughter-Cities of Atlantis; the other two reside only in legend and ancient prophecy. These ancient writings speak of a Prime Genitor, and, ten powerful artifacts of JATAR. The Sitnaltians believe the ultimate hope for saving all of humanity lies in finding these hidden cities, discovering their powerful treasures, and decoding Atlantis' last prophecy.

For these eight young adults, it will be a journey of discovery. Through success and failure, the adventure will mold their lives and bring them all to the very edge of greatness. 

The rest of humankind will race to deal with Earth's shattering environmental crisis. The outlook is bleak. With few options and little time, only one thread of hope emerges. Found in the last prophecy of Atlantis, it becomes humanity's call to action.
