Peter's pov. . .

     Despite being partly blown up last week. The building was back in its full glory. I followed Mr. Happy inside SI and down the hall. Mr. Happy hadn't said anything in a while and I was dying for some noise, so when I got brought to the front desk where an assistant named "Benji." sat, I couldn't wait to be able to talk to someone.

     "Hey, Ben." Mr. Happy said, "This is Peter, he's Tony's new intern."

     Benji smiled at me, "Hey, Peter! I'm Benji but people call me Ben. Got your name tag here."

     Ben handed me my name tag with my face and my name on a card.

     "Thanks!" I put the name tag on my shirt and smiled at Ben before Mr. Happy led me down the hall and into the elevator. 

     "Hello again, Peter."

     "Hi Miss, Friday."

     "Take us to Tony's lab, Friday."

     "Right away. Congratulations on the internship, Peter."

     "Thank's Miss. Friday!"

     The elevator started to move, and I couldn't stop my hands from tapping my thighs again. My brain kept thinking about what we might be doing today; I couldn't wait to find out! The elevator stopped, and when the door opened, I recognized the floor we were on—the same floor I was on with Mr. Stark and Mr. Rogers when the building was attacked.

     All the debris was gone, and the place looked like it had never been attacked in the first place. Mr. Happy led me to Mr. Stark's lab, and I saw Mr. Stark already waiting for me. He was working on his Iron Man suit, and my excitement was bubbling over; I couldn't hold it in anymore.

     Mr. Happy opened the door and I walked inside.

     "Hey, Pete!" Mr. Stark smiled at me, "Come over here."

      I walked over to his table and studied the Iron Man suit.

     "Ready for the internship?" He asked and I nodded.

     Mr. Stark went into explaining how the internship would work. Every Wednesday and Friday, Mr. Happy will pick me up from school and take me to SI. Mr. Stark will give me a project to finish before the next internship day and then he'll say his thoughts on it ways he would've done it differently and things I need to change.

     Mr. Stark finished explaining and I couldn't wait to start. He clamped a hand over my shoulder and gave it a quick squeeze.

     "Alright, your first project to finish before Friday will be. . .To build somthing that I can add to my Iron Man suit. Got it?"

     I nodded. This was so exciting! I quickly looked around and got to work, looking at Mr. Stark's suit, I quickly saw things I could add to make it so much better. But I decided on one thing to add. It wouldn't be difficult to do.

     My mind went to the place it always went when I built things. The quiet peaceful space where I blocked out the world around me. I walked around Mr. Stark's lab, grabbing all the things I needed. I brought them over to Mr. Stark's suit, I looked at him.

     "Am I able to take off the armor on the arm where your repulsors are?"

     "You can do whatever you need to." He said.

     I nodded and braced myself, I removed the armor and put in everything I needed. Once I was finished I put the plate of armor back on and turned to Mr. Stark.

     "I'm done. I think it should work."

     Mr. Stark raised an eyebrow, "Think? You need to know."

     "I know. It'll work."

     An alarm went off and Mr. Stark's tv in his lab turned on. A villian was attacking the city.

     Mr Stark looked at me, "Let's hope it works kid, because I have to go."

     The suit connected with Mr. Stark and he started to fly out.

     "WAIT!" I yelled, "To release the net just say net!"

     I hoped Mr. Stark heard me.

     There was no way for me to get out of the lab to help the Avengers without getting caught. Mr. Stark had Mrs. Potts come in to watch me, and together we watched the news. I was getting jittery having to watch and not help.

     "They'll be okay, Peter." Mrs. Potts said she must have noticed my fidgeting.

     "I know." I nodded my head.

     Mr. Stark raised his arm that held the net I just put in, I watched as the net shot out of the armor and flew through the sky, it latched around the villian and trapped him.

     "YES!" I screamed, pumped my fist in the air, and practically leaped out of my seat.

     Mrs. Potts hugged me and we watched as Mr. Stark and the Avengers handed the villian over to the police and then left. They were coming back.

     It only took a few seconds for Mr. Stark to get back to the tower.

     "Pete!" He yelled down the hall, he ran back in, "Did you see that?! Your net worked!"

     "I know!" I jumped and smiled, Mr. Stark looked so proud of me.

     Mr. Stark walked over to Mrs. Potts and pulled her in tight, he kissed her on the lips, "The kid's amazing."

     Mrs. Potts laughed and smiled, "He sure is. I'll let you two get back to your internship. Bye, Peter."

     "Bye, Mrs. Potts."

     Mr. Stark watched Mrs. Potts leave the lab then turned to me, he raised his hand high and I high-fived him.

     "Great job with the net. How about we stop working today and watch a movie with popcorn?"

     I nodded, "Sounds great. Can I pick the movie?"

     "You helped us defeat the villian, so I don't see why not. What do you want to watch?"

     I smiled, "Star Wars."
