(Yarina's POV)

I opened my mouth to call Guin back, but I quickly closed it as she disappeared around the corner. I ran my hand through my hair, before reaching over and punching the wall. To my surprise, it left a dent. I guess that's what happens when you punch the same spot every time you get upset. My hand fell into my lap, and I looked down. Suddenly my hand turned blue. I gasped, then quickly shook it out before I had the chance to scream. I sighed with relief when it turned back to normal. I stared at my hand, until I could no longer handle it. "That's it!" I said out loud. I quickly crawled out my bed, and stood up. With a wave of my hand, my outfit changed, from a dress to a battle outfit. With that, I rushed out the door.

I got halfway down the hall, when I ran into Guinevere, literally ran into her. "Ouch!" I said, as I landed on my butt. I looked up, and saw Guin, sitting across from me. "Sorry, Guin." I said. "Apology accepted." She said, as I stood and offered my hand. She grabbed it, and used me to pull herself up. We stood looking at each other. "Why are you wearing that?" She asked. I gave her my signature smirk, that told just about anybody, that I'm up to no good. "Oh no." She whispered. Then a smile formed on her face. "Suit up." I said. She smiled, then with a wave of her hand, she had her outfit on. We smirked at each other, then took off running in the direction our Father went. It was obvious we made it to the right place when we heard a loud crash, then Uncle Thor speak. "It is unwise to be in my company now, brother." "Who said I was wise?" Father asked "This was to be my day of triumph." Uncle Thor said, just as we rounded the corner, and coming to a stop, just as Father came from his hiding spot. "It'll come. In time." He said. That's what I admire most about Father, he's wise, whether he said he wasn't or not. What Father said next though, made my heart skip a beat. "If it's any consolation, I think you're right. About the Frost Giants, about Laufey, about everything. If they found a way to penetrate Asgard's defences once, who's to say they won't try again. Next time with an army." He said. I looked up at Guin. She had the look on her face, that said exactly how I felt. Guilty. I guess father never forgave us. I thought. "Exactly!" Uncle Thor exclaimed. "There's nothing you can do without defying father." Father said. My eyes widened when Uncle Thor gave Father a look. "No! No, no, no, no! I know that look!" Father said. "It's the only way to ensure the safety of our borders!" Thor explained. "Thor, it's madness!" Father exclaimed, with a wave of his hands. I groaned inwardly when Uncle Thor's friends came in. "Madness? What sort of madness?" Volstagg asked. Father stammered before answering "It's nothing, Thor was just making a jest." "The safety of our realm is no jest. We're going to Jotunheim." I looked up at Guinevere, while she looked down at me. "Oh, dear." She whispered, I shook my head, and then turned to father, he had placed a tired hand on his face. I felt bad for him in an instant. "What? This isn't like a journey to earth, where you summon a little lightning and the mortals worship you as a god! This is Jotunheim." Fandral spoke. "If the Frost Giants don't kill you, your father will." Volstagg spoke up, as he chopped food, as normal. "My father fought his way into Jotunheim. Defeated their armies and took their casket! We would just be looking for answers." Thor tried to explain, but failed miserably, when Sif answered. Father looked worried. "It is forbidden!" Sif exclaimed, tearing my gaze from Father. "My friends, have you forgotten all that we have done together? Who brought you into the sweet embrace of all the exotic maidens in all of Yggdrasil?" Thor asked, pointing at Fandral. "You helped a little." Fandral answered. "And who led you into the most glorious of battles?" Uncle Thor asked. "You did." Hogan deadpanned. "And Volstagg, to delicacies so succulent you thought you'd died and gone to Valhalla?" Thor asked Volstagg. "You did." He answered. "Yes! And who proved wrong all who scoffed at the idea that a young maiden could be one of the fiercest warriors this realm has ever known?" He asked Sif. "I did!" She answered. "True, but I supported you." He said, smile disappearing, then reappearing, as fast as it disappeared. "My friends! Trust me now, we must do this. You're not going to let my brother and me take all the glory are you?" Thor asked, walking to stand behind Father. And the sound of Brother, Father looked up startled, as if he thought he had been forgotten. "What?!" He asked, it was almost to soft to hear. Uncle Thor's smile disappeared. "You are coming with me, aren't you?" He asked. Father looked up at Uncle Thor, with a smile, that made you think he was a child, that had finally done something right. "Yes, of course." Then he quickly stood up, still smiling. "I won't let my brother march into the Jotunheim alone." It felt good to see Father actually smile, and feel triumphant. He's been gloomy for the past couple of days. Anyway, I knew exactly where Thor was going. "We need to get going." I said. I felt Guin nod. With that, we rushed off to the stables.

"Stable boy!" I called. Just as fast as I called, there came a young boy, not older than me came running up. "Yes, milady?" He asked. "Get our horses around. And hurry." Guin said. With that the boy ran off, and got our horses around. He returned just as Father, Uncle Thor, and company came out of the palace door. "Hurry!" I whispered, quickly saddling my horse. Guinevere followed suit, and with a small kick, we rushed across the rainbow bridge, to the bifrost. "We need to hurry!" I shouted over the wind, as I turned and noticed Father and the group catching up. We kicked the horses a little harder. It took a total of five minutes, until we finally got to the bifrost. Before our horses even stopped, we jumped off, then turned ourselves invisible. We walked, until we were safe, up against the wall. Minutes later, I heard a small thud of feet hitting the bridge. I peeked around the corner, just as Heimdall took his place at the beginning of the Bifrost. "Good Heimdall?" Father asked. "You're not dressed warmly enough. Do you think that you can deceive me?" Heimdall asked. "You must be mistaken..." Father started, only to be interrupted. "Enough! Heimdall, may we pass?" Uncle Thor interrupted. "Never has an enemy slipped my watch until this day. I wish to know how that happened?" I winced when Heimdall spoke. "Then tell no one where we have gone until we've returned. Understand?" Thor said, walking past Heimdall. Volstagg began to follow, only to stop when he came next to Father. "What happened? Silver tongue turned to lead?" He asked, causing the other to laugh. It only lasted a second, but living with Father, you learn to see these things fast, hurt flashed across his features. Anger built up in me. It's not the first time I was angered. Father used to come home upset, every time uncle Thor was being an idiot. He doesn't know it, because, to him, Guinevere and I were to young to remember, but we remember him pouring his heart out to us, as he held up, even crying sometimes, so you kinda get use to seeing anger, hurt, any emotion that Thor can easily show. It's so easy to hate Thor, and his friends, just by the way they treat father. Anyway, back to the present. Guin and I added an extra spell to the invisiblity spell, the extra spell, allowed us to see each other. I looked at her, and she had her hands clenched into fists, and almost shaking in anger. I guess you could say we both hated Sif and the Warriors Three. Anyway, father walked in as Heimdall, Volstagg, and Thor talked, he did a double take, when he spotted our horses, but quickly shrugged it off. Then, before we knew it, the bifrost was running, I watched as Father and company disappeared, we took off running before it was able to shut down.

I let out a gasp when I landed on snow and ice. I heard a small "Ouch." Next to me. Norns was it cold! I instantly regretted not grabbing my cloak. I quickly sat up, and noticed neither Father or Thor were nearby. "Guinevere, where is everyone?" I asked. She sat up as well, then looked around. "We are not at the bifrost site." She said. "Wonderful observation, Genius." I said, my voice dripping in sarcasm. She punched me in the arm. I just smiled, then stuck my tongue out. "We need to get going." She said. I nodded, then stood up. "Let's go this way." I said, pointing west. Guin shrugged, and followed me. We walked for a bit, without any troubles, eventually it seems like the minutes turned into hours, finally, I got colder then normal, then just as fast as I got cold, the cold became bearable. I looked down at my hands. They were BLUE! I screamed. "Yarina! What's...." Guinevere cut off. "You're all blue!" She exclaimed. I looked up. "You're all blue!" I shrieked. She looked down, and let out a cry similar to mine. But, we didn't have long to freak out about that, because suddenly there were six frost giants in front of us. "What are you doing out here, Little Ones?" Asked the leader, reaching out towards us. "Don't touch us!" Guin and I shrieked, before conjuring a dagger and stabbing the leader. He let out a howl, causing his companions to conjure ice swords. "Uh...run?" I asked, even though it was an obvious answer. "Run." Guin answered with a nod. With that, we turned, and ran back the way we came. It was a long run, we couldn't stop, because the giants were right on our heels. There was a few moments where we ended up teleporting, just to keep away from them. We passed our bifrost site, and continued running. Suddenly, we heard Grandfather's voice. "So be it." He said. Then suddenly, the bifrost shot down from the sky. "Father!" Guin and I screamed. But he was already to far away. "What do we do?!" Guin panicked. We were surrounded, the six on our left, and Laufey on our right. I gulped, then quickly placed my hand on Guinevere, then incanted a spell, before we could get trampled by the Frost Giants. We rolled to a stop, the moment we hit the bridge, and I made it to the edge of the bridge, just in time to empty my stomach. "Yarina? Are you okay?" Guin asked. I quickly shook my head, then instantly regretted it, as a wave of nausea hit me. I felt Guin pull me onto her lap, and allowed me to rest for a bit. I closed my eyes, then suddenly, the voices of Uncle Thor and Grandfather echoed through the Bifrost, but I was to nauseated to understand. The only voice I clearly understood was Father's when he tried to get Grandfather's attention "Father." He said, only to get yelled at. "Father's coming." Guin whispered. At first the footsteps of father were quiet, then they picked up pace. "Guin! What's wrong? What happened?!" Father asked. " I-I don't know. We followed you to Jotunheim. Then we were chased, when we made it to the Bifrost site, you had left. Then suddenly, Yarina was casting a spell, then we were here." Guin said, stumbling over her words. I opened my eyes just enough to see Father's face, filled with worry. "What spell?" He asked me, when he noticed I was looking at him. "Realm...Jump..." I said. His eyes grew wide. "That's far to advanced for you! Where did you learn that?!" He all but shouted. I smiled, opening my eyes wider, nauseated feeling going away. "Your journal." I said, slyly. I heard laughter above me. "You can read his handwriting? How?" Guin asked in disbelief . "It helps when you've been doing it since you turned five, at least on Midgard." I said, continuing to smile, as Father's face turned beet red. "You are in so much trouble." He said. I just smiled, and began to stand up. When I was on my feet, I took a step, and almost fell forward, but I didn't because Father and Guin caught me. "I'm okay." I said, waving them off. I turned around, to see Grandfather staring at the ground. "Where's Thor?" I asked. Father's face grew dark. "Banished." He said. I closed my eyes, banishment isn't the worst punishment, but it isn't the most pleasant. I sighed. "I want to go home." I said. Father nodded. I smiled, then took his hand, to show some form of comfort, Guin took the other, causing Father to look at us, and smile. Then we began the long walk back to the palace.
