"If you don't come out from where your hiding she dies!" He roared so loudly that I'm sure someone with human hearing could have heard it loud and clear.

Before we could register what was happening Jake was already standing up and running towards the fenced in warehouse. I tried to get up to go and follow but Lincoln held me down.

"We have to help him." I whispered trying to wriggle out of his grip.

"He has a plan just don't move." He told me. What the flippity flop was that supposed to mean? I wasn't going to let anything happen to him, he's my friend.

Lincoln put his binoculars back up to his eyes and began looking again. He suddenly moved his head and swore under his breath.

"There are armed soldiers coming towards us." He grabbed onto me like a bag of flour and threw me ahead of him. We were now sprinting as fast as we could away from the incoming soldiers.

I managed to get a glimpse of where Jake was, he was trying to take on that guy while getting Erin help.

"We have to help him Lincoln!" I yelled at him.

"No! He is my third in command, he can handle himself, I need to get you to safety." Was he kidding? He better be freaking kidding me.

"Look at me Lincoln. We need to help him, I'll be fine." I spoke cupping his cheeks with my hands and pressing a quick kiss to his lips.

He hesitantly nodded his head and we changed direction towards the warehouse again. We found a hole in the chain link fence that surrounded the perimeter that we could fit through.

We took off full speed towards Jake who was just managing to keep the guy away from killing Erin.

I changed a quick spell causing the knife he was holding to go flying into his leg. He cursed before sending a glare my way.

"Freeze!" None of us dared to move as warriors emerged holding any type of weapon you could think of, knives, daggers, swords, guns, it was all being pointed at the three of us right now. I glanced over at Lincoln who looked like he was about to shift.

"We will shoot you if you even think about it." Growled the guy.

"You thought you could infiltrate my base with spies, the big guy isn't going to be happy." He chuckled darkly.

Jake and Lincoln exchanged looks, so this guy wasn't the boss either. Never had I heard of so many rogues working together, this was literally a pack of rogues.

"You must be the one who killed all of my recruits." He spoke walking closer to me. Lincoln began growling and inching closer to me.

"It really pissed me off, it didn't take me five minutes to find all of them you know." He growled taking another step closer to me. I instinctively took a step back which caused the person behind me to cock their gun so I knew it was there.

"If you let us go, no one will get hurt." I told him.

"You are in no position to make threats beautiful." He laughed.

Lincoln looked like he was fighting his wolf pretty violently at this point.

I slowly reached out and took his hand in attempts to calm him down but it barely did anything.

"Don't move, you bitch!" He spat at me moving to grab me away from Lincoln.

Now was my chance right when he grabbed me I knocked him right onto his butt. He growled out viciously and tried to grab ahold of me again but I needed to take care of these other guys first.

I raised my hands and started strangling all of the people holding weapons. They all fell limp to the ground after a couple of seconds. That's when guns started sounding from the roof. Lincoln yelled at all of us to get down Jake grabbed ahold of a limp Erin on the blood covered cement guarding her body with his own.

"Go get her to the car! I'll hold them off!" I yelled at Jake. He nodded and quickly shot up sprinting towards the fence, away from us. I stood up and felt myself gain control of their bodies, the gunfire immediately stopped but was replaced by screaming. This knocked me out of my trance when I saw even more people emerge from the warehouse. Where were they all coming from?

"Brielle! Go with them!" Yelled Lincoln rushing to my side. "I'll fight them off as long as I can, I can't lose you." He spoke, whispering the end.

"Lincoln you'll die just go! I can handle this!" I yelled. I couldn't bare the thought of losing him.

"No! Brielle get in the fucking car with them." I closed my eyes and cast another spell sending this new wave of rogues flying back.

"Don't move or you both die!" Snapped a guy that almost looked identical to the first giant guy.

He was holding what looked like a bomb, I think I've never actually seen one before. His fingers grasping onto a small silver clip.

"If I pull this off, everyone here will die." He told me walking so he was standing right in front of me, and let me tell you he smelled absolutely disgusting. He grabbed onto my arms and attached something cold to my wrists. I went to cast a spell to get them off of me but instead I was greeted by excruciatingly painful strikes of electricity. I cried out and fell to the ground. Lincoln was viciously growling trying to get to me but they must have put the same things on him because within seconds he was lying on the ground shaking next to me.

"Put them in the cells, I'll call the boss and let em know we got her." He laughed walking away from us and pulling what I believed was a phone. I still felt slight jolts wrack through my body.

"I'll get us out of this." He told me taking deep breaths.

I just nodded my head and looked around at the place we were being dragged into. It looked dirty, with cells off to the side. There were crates all around the room, likely filled with weapons.

The rogues shoved us both into separate cells that were divided with a chain link fence. I scrambled over so that I was closer to Lincoln.

"It's going to be okay, I'm sure Jake already has a plan." He reassured me but I highly doubt that. We were unprepared for this entire extraction.

A few minutes passed when the giant guy walked back in.

"Glen! There over there!" Some random rogue called out pointing to us.

He unlocked my cell door first walking in and standing in front of me not saying anything.

"We aren't technically supposed to do anything to you but I don't think I can help it. You wasted so much of my time and efforts to make the boss happy, you understand that." He growled grabbing onto my arm roughly and slamming me across the small space, against the chain link fence opposite of the one I was just by.

"Get the fuck away from her!" Lincoln screamed gripping onto the fence but immediately wincing when he fell to the ground shaking.

"Let him go!" I yelled trying to get to the other side by him only to be shoved right back. He slammed me to the ground and kicked me hard in the stomach. I cried out in pain as a searing pain tore through my abdomen. I am stronger than him, I know I am so why was he beating me? Why was he acting stronger than me? When his boot connected with my abdomen again I began to reek havoc on this place.

I felt that myself sink into my subconscious as I mentally shifted letting my demon side take over to get us out of this situation. I heard him screaming as blood poured down his face, which was immediately followed by him sinking down to the floor, dead.

I broke the shock cuffs off of my arms and tore apart our cells. I snapped Lincoln's off as well before looking at the rogues pointing their guns at me. I sent all of them flying back, I quickly turned my attention to Lincoln. As I was running over to get to him a loud bang filled the room. That loud bang meant I was too late. That loud bang meant that I couldn't protect the person I love the most in this horrible world. That bang broke my heart into a thousand tiny pieces. Lincoln collapses to the ground with blood pouring out of his side.

I felt myself return back to my own mental state and I sprinted to him.

"Leave me behind Brielle. Go! Get out of here now!" He coughed. I felt tears streaming down my cheeks. I casted a quick spell causing him to levitate off of the ground. I wrapped his arm around my shoulder and began walking as fast as I could supporting his weight. I couldn't let him die. I couldn't let him die. I couldn't let him die. I wouldn't let him die.
