Chapter 6: Entering Misty & Team Rocket
Soon as I reached the video phone that wasn't too far from the one Ash was sitting at, I dialed my home phone number since Mom should be done with work by now.
The phone rang for a few moments until. Finally, the familiar voice of my mom answered the phone.
"Hello, this is the Wataru residents, "My mom greeted.
"Hello, Mom," I said, mentally laughing at how she answered the phone.
After hearing my voice, my mom let out a happy cry as the screen changed to show her hair was down and slightly wet, meaning she had just finished showering.
"Oh, hello, son! Is everything going okay? Where are you and Ash?" Mom asked, happy to hear from me.
"We're currently at the Viridian City Pokemon Center, Mom," I answered.
"Wow, you made it to Viridian City. When I met your father, it took him three days to get there, somehow getting lost, but he is better now. Your sister wasn't that better, either. He will be proud to hear how you're doing after all; you are his treasure," Mom said with a giant smile on her face.
"Yeah, rotten apple..." I heard Ash mutter, making me sigh, seeing he still felt guilty about earlier.
"What the matter?"Mom asked.
"It's just Ash. Well, things didn't start so great," I started."His Pikachu wasn't listening, and he couldn't get him to help catch a Pokemon and recused to have Empuress help while my new Aerodactyl from father helped me see a Vulpix. So he threw a rock at a Spearow to weaken it, causing its flock to attack, and now Pikachu pretty beat up," I explained.
"I see, but that is to be expected. Ash is stubborn, but you are a sharp kid and can find a way to be the mentor you promised when you met plus, after today, he will probably learn his lesson about not taking your advice, "Mom said, smiling.
"Your right; so, did big sister leave for Hoenn?" I asked.
"Yeah, she did a couple of hours after you left."
"I hope she does great in the Pokemon contest in Hoenn," I replied. "Anyway, talk to you later im going to check on Ash."
"Alright, and remember, everything will be fine as long as you keep working hard to get through Ash's head as his mentor and friend."
"Right," I said, ending the call and walking over to Ash.
"Dusk is more like a Spearow, while I feel more like falling Pidgey," I heard Ash sigh as I walked over towards him.
"Hey, don't talk about yourself that way! Just be confident in yourself like Dustin is; after all, you always look up to him, and you can do anything as long as you believe in yourself and mentor Dustin," She scolded.
Ash remained silent, not saying a word.
"Do you understand, Ash?" Delia asked, earning a nod.
"Yes."
"And are you changing your underwear every day?"
"Alright, Mrs. Ketchum, it's still the same day we left. I will make sure he changes them tomorrow before we leave," I said, walking up behind Ash.
"Alright, I'll leave him to you, Dustin. Good night you two. Love you, Ash!" Delia smiled softly.
"Mm.Good night Mom."
"Yeah, night Mrs. Ketchum, "I said as Ash ended the call.
The silence returned as we were both done with the call to our moms. Mrs. Ketchum was the same as always when it came to Ash.
"Hey, Dusk, look over there!" Ash called out, causing me to look at what he was talking about and allowing me to see a large portrait of four pokemon, two of the legendary birds my father told me about. One was an Aracanie, and the last one was the one that caught my attention the most.
"That pokemon... That's the one we saw earlier during the rainbow after Pikachu saved you," I said in realization.
"Yeah," He nodded slowly in agreement as we recalled what happened, but before any more questions in my mind about what pokemon it was, again, there was a ringing sound coming from the computer.
Ring-ring-ring! Ring-ring-ring! Phone call!
We could only turn to each other, wondering who would be calling at this hour. It couldn't be our mothers since we just called, and it couldn't be my father since he is often busy.
Ash took the initiative in answering as he tapped on the phone button, responding to whoever was calling.
"Uh...This is Ash and Dustin! Who's calling?" He asked.
"Here! I'm over here!"
A familiar got us to blink and turn around to see the portrait of the bottom right going doe to reveal a screen that show us the back of a familiar head.
"Ash! Dustin! It's Professor Oak. Don't you two recognize me?" He asked, much to Ash's confusion and me to shake my head.
"No, I don't think anyone would recognize you from the back of your head," I commented, catching his attention.
At that, he turned behind him before realizing his mistake.
"Eh!? Oops! Wrong camera!"
With that, the screen changed, allowing us to see the professor face-to-face on the screen this time.
"There...Ahem! I just spoke to both of your mothers, and they tell me that the two of you made it to the Pokémon Center in Viridian City! Is that correct?" He asked us, which got me to raise a brow at him again.
"Yes, that's right... How else could we be communicating with us right now? You dialed the Viraidan City Pokémon Center's number, corrected?" I asked him, causing him to perk up before he looked around at our surroundings.
"Ah... Yeah, yes... You're right, Dustin, completely right... I did contact this number, did I?" He laughed nervously before he cleared his throat.
"Ahem... As I was going to say, the other new Pokémon Trainers made it there with no problem! And I'm pleasantly surprised to see that you two got here so soon! I mean, I knew you'd be alright, Dustin... but I at first had doubts about Ash..." Prof. Oak admitted bluntly.
I have to admit that an expert in Pokémon he not very good at praising people. That attempt at praise for making it here was terrible. Such Ash still needs serious teaching if he is going to be a Pokemon Master, but he could have more faint in my mentor skills like my mother.
"But when my grandson, Gary, said that either of you boys would have a single new Pokémon by the time you two got to Viridian City, I bet him a million dollars that he'd be wrong!" He added, causing me to raise a brow.
I was wondering who would even bet with a ten-year-old. I didn't know if it was a serious bet it to have a bit of fun...though, knowing Gary, it was probably a bet to look down on Ash and me despite me having more knowledge and experience with Pokémon.
"You won that bet, Professor. I at caught a pokemon in Vulpix and a Spearow, so that counts at least, doesn't it?" I asked, deciding to give him a bit of hope.
"It certainly does!" He grinned, looking happy at the news.
"Professor? That's not all that happened. We both saw a flying Pokémon just like that one! It flew right over the rainbow!" Ash explained, pointing to the blue picture that was above the Professor's screen. However...
"Don't talk such nonsense. You couldn't have seen this Pokémon! Trainers have searched their whole lives and never seen it." The Professor said in disbelief, causing me to frown.
"He's not lying. I saw the same thing... though the Pokédex couldn't recognize on what kind of Pokémon it was yet, it was definitely familiar..." I explained.
"The Pokédex couldn't recognize it? But that can't be..." Prof. Oak frowned before we could hear a doorbell coming from his side.
"Ah! There's my pizza! Coming!" He yelped as he left the screen until he came back, saying his goodbye to us.
"It was very nice talking to you two, Ash! Dustin! And good luck, you two!"
He left from our sight again...though we could hear him sighing in contentment from whatever was on his pizza.
"Mm... Anchovies, spinach, and pineapple pizza!"
The screen turned off, leaving us to stare in betterment as I rubbed the back of my neck.
"...That was quite the call..." I said with a sigh, with Ash frowning, but before we speak or do anything.
"NOW I'VE GOT YOU!"
A loud and aggravated shout caused us to jump before we turned to see... a familiar orange-haired tomboyish girl glaring at us while holding onto a... familiar... burnt bike... Oh no...
"I knew I'd find you here!" The girl snapped, glaring at us... or mostly at Ash? Guess it would make sense as he was the one that rode off with her bike. Ash, on the other hand, didn't seem to remember what happened as he gasped at the sight of the burnt bike.
"What happened to my bike!? You happen to my bike, you little loser! This is what happened after you stole it to save your Pokémon! Now, I can see why your Pokémon is in the-- AH!"
CRASH!
Just before she could finish her accusation, she fell back... probably due to the weight of the bike burdening her as she fell backward. We rushed over to check up on her as Ash tried to help her up.
"Ah... Let me help!" He called out, only to have his hand slapped away by her.
"I don't need your help! And you'll pay for what you did to my bike!" She snapped angrily.
I watched as Ash backed away, looking a little remorseful for what he did while I stood next to him.
"I'll make up for it. I promise I will, really! But, I can't do anything about your bike until--"
"Argh! I don't want any of your lame excuses, kid! I just want a new bike right now!" The girl snapped angrily, making a furious expression and a fist... like she was threatening his life if he didn't do what she wanted him to do as if the bike was more important than an injured Pokemon.
But that's where she was crossing the line there... For me, that is.
"Alright, that's enough," I said with narrow eyes, getting in between Ash and the girl.
"Dusk."
"What the... This has nothing to do with you!" The girl snapped, only for me to harden my expression.
"This has everything to do with me. First, I'm sorry that your bike got destroyed, but that does not give you the right to threaten my mentee and friend ove something that can easily be replaced. Second, if it hadn't been for your bike, neither he nor Pikachu would be here. And finally, this isn't the time for him to pay you back, especially since his Pokémon's in a critical condition!" I sated.
That seemed to have got her to stop as her face softened from the news that I relayed to her before she frowned.
"Is it dire?" She asked, causing Ash to sigh sadly.
"I think so... And there's nothing we can do to help now..." He said, only for me to shake my head.
"That's not entirely true... All we can do... is believe that they'll be just fine. Especially Pikachu, just like Empuress when we first met her," I reassured him while placing a hand on his shoulder, causing Ash to blink before slowly nodding, remembering my words from back then.
"Yeah..."
The girl frowned, realizing how deep our situation was before there was a slight sound, causing us to see the ER light turned off, meaning the procedure was complete.
We all turned to see coming out of the room where Nurse Joy and Chansey were coming out with Pikachu and Empuress on the two stretchers. Aerodactyl and Vulpix Pokéball were right next to Empuress, which I could assume meant that they had made a full recovery, too.
"Meowth!" I heard my partner call out before she jumped into my arm; bringing a smile to my face, I looked at her.
"Hey, Empuress feeling better?" I asked.
"Meow!" She purred with a smile before nuzzling me on the cheek. It tickled a little but made me smile more, seeing she was okay.
As for Ash, he widened his eyes at the position that his Electric Type partner was in.
"Pikachu!? Are you alright!?" He asked before we noticed some sort of device the Mouse Pokémon was wearing. It seemed to be some sort of an electrical headband connected with wires and a lightbulb on his head.
"I take it the headband is supposed to help him recover quicker by sending electric to his body, " I said, looking at the headband.
"That's right. You see, Pikachu is resting, and it's a good thing you two got it here so fast. The procedure went well, and it should be fine." Nurse Joy explained to us, allowing Ash to breathe in relief upon learning the news.
"And as for Meowth and Aerodactyl, they haven't suffered serious injuries like Pikachu and your Vulpix. That bite on the stomach wasn't lovely, but she will need some rest Aerodactyl and Meowth should be good after a day or two," She added, looking at me."I suggest you work on controlling Aerodactyl's battle spirit.
I nodded my understanding of that and planned to train him to be controlled like my father's Aerodactyl.
"Pikachu should be fine now, thanks to the Pokémon Center!" The girl assured as Ash sighed.
"Yes, thank you very much," Ash thanked Nurse Joy with a nod.
"Now, like Meowth and Vulpix, your Pikachu needs a good rest in the recovery room! It would be best if you went with it, Ash," Nurse Joy assured, earning a nod from Ash before he turned to the girl.
"Yes, and listen, I'm sorry about your bike, but I'm going to need some time to make things right," Ash turned to her only to get a slight glare from her in response.
"No way! I feel for that last time! You take care of your Pikachu, and we'll settle this later!"
I shook my head. She is never going to let it go. That bike must be important to her or something, but better dealing with her later than now, as our Pokémon health was more important at the moment.
But just as we were about to get them to the recovery room, an alarm blared out, catching our attention as we could Officer Jenny's voice making an announcement.
"Your attention, please! Our Viridian City readers have detected an aircraft belonging to a gang of Pokémon thieves! If you have a Pokémon, take extra care of it with extreme caution!"
"Pokémon thieves!?" Ash yelped in shock.
"So there here..." I muttered before looking up to see something break through the glass falling.
"What?" I questioned until I made it out to be two Pokeballs crashing through the top window and revealing themselves.
The first was a purple spherical Pokemon giving off a massive amount of toxic gas from its body. The second one was a purple snake hissing to look intimidating to its enemies.
"What the...Who are they?" Ash exclaimed as he scanned the two with his Pokedex.
[Koffing, The Poison Gas Pokémon. Koffing hovers in the air, thanks to the poisonous gases it contains, which have a foul odor and can explode.]
[Ekans, The Snake Pokémon. The older it gets, the longer it grows. At night it wraps its long body around tree branches to rest.]
'So where dealing with two poison types. This is a dangerous pair with twice the poison.' I thought, looking at the two Pokémon, knowing this could end badly.
However, before I could think of a plan, I could hear voices emerging from the smoke.
"Don't be frightened, little boy," A female chuckled evilly.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves!" A male sneered this time.
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!" A female with long red hair and Sapphire blue hair introduced herself and had to admit she had pretty eyes.
"James!"
"Team Rocket, blasting off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth! That's right!"
"W-What are you talking about!?" Ash asked, feeling nervous and a bit frightened at the same time.
"They're a group of criminals that steal Pokémon! That's what they're saying!" I answered as he held out his arm to defend himself and his partner. Empuress seemed to have felt the same as she hissed angrily at the evil people and the talking Meowth.
"That little boy doesn't seem to get it, but the older one sure does, " The female know as Jessie sneered, looking at Ash and a slightly impressed look towards me.
"H-How can I!? Before Dust spoke, you guys didn't make any sense!" Ash complained.
"Yeah, it's not his fault you don't make old hag," The girl said.
My eyes widened at her words.
"Uh, oh, " James and the talking Meowth said.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!" Jessie snapped in annoyance.
"Alright, that wasn't necessary, " I said, looking at the girl."She looks like a beautiful young lady."
"Huh?" Jessie questioned, looking at me in surprise as her cheeks turned a faint pink.
"Meowth," Empuress said, looking up at me curiously.
"Enough flirting were here for the Pokémon!" The man named James explained with a sneer, causing Ash to try and cover his injured starter.
"You're not getting Pikachu!" Ash snapped, earning a scoff from Jessie.
"Pikachu? We're not interested in your precious electric rat!" Jessie scoffed, recovering from her blushing state as James glanced at Empuress, who seemed ready for battle after she stopped looking at me from my earlier comment.
"But you know the little female Meowth with the mad eyes is nice, as will the other Pokémon in this Center!" James replied, which got me to step up beside my partner.
"You three aren't getting my partner. You have a talking Meowth already, anyway!" I snapped, pulling Empuress close to me.
"Your right. We seek rare and valuable Pokémon!" James explained, causing Nurse Joy to step up.
"You're wasting your time! This is a Center for weak and injured Pokémon!" Nurse Joy snapped as Jessie smirked at hearing this.
"Well, that may be so... But I wouldn't be surprised if we find a few Pokémon gems among all the junk!" Jessie assured, causing me to narrow my eyes. Even if she was kind of pretty, I wouldn't allow her to steal the Pokémon Ash glared at them back, knowing just how low they might go.
"You're starting to bug me!" He growled, though this didn't seem to faze them.
"Isn't that cute?" Jessie smirked.
"The boy is bugged!" James taunted with a sneer.
"Meowth! Then, let's squash him!" Meowth called out.
"Koffing, attack!"
"Ekans, go!"
The two Poison Types lunged towards us, with Ekans aiming to bite and Koffing aiming to tackle! If we battle it out here, the entire Pokémon Center will be in a mess! I grabbed Ash's jacket and pulled him to move as we all began to rush out of the main lobby!
Thankfully, we could escape from their sight as we rushed into the room where we could see many Pokéballs that seemed to be stored there. But the moment we went in and caught our breaths, the lights began to flicker on before they turned off.
"Hey! The lights!" The girl gasped in surprise while the nurse frowned.
"They must've cut the power!" She realized, which got me to turn to her.
"So what do we do now? We'll be running or fighting blind without the lights on!" I reminded her.
"No need to worry! We've got our own Pika Power source!" Nurse Joy smiled in reassurance, much to my surprise, before we turned to see a group of Pikachu running together. By doing so, they began to produce strong enough electricity to act as a backup generator!
"Well, look at that..." I widened my eyes in awe.
"Look at all the Pikachu!" The girl exclaimed in awe before the lights turned on again. A computer turned itself on as Nurse Joy went over to do something about it.
"A critical situation has arisen! Initiating emergency Pokéball transport sequence!" The computer buzzed.
"We've got to save those Pokéballs!" Nurse Joy called out.
There was no need to tell us twice as the machine began to do its job, picking out a few Pokéballs for what seemed to be transport. As it was doing that, she began to talk, like she was contacting someone...
"This is the Viridian City Pokémon Center! We have an emergency situation! Transporting Pokéballs!" Nurse Joy called out. And in response...
"This is the Pewter City Pokémon Center! Downloader activated! Ready to receive Pokéballs!"
The transportation continued on... though it was going a bit too slow. And with the number of Pokéballs here being a lot, there's no telling when those three might barge in to take what they think was theirs...
"Can't the transport system go any faster? Those three might bust in here any minute--"
SMASH!
I turned quickly, seeing Koffing smashing through the doors before crashing into the shelves. The Pokéballs all fell, making them vulnerable to whoever picked them up!
"Get those Pokéballs!" Nurse Joy called to us as we struggled to pick them up. Ash looked hesitant, wondering which of them was which, as all the Pokéballs looked precisely the same.
"Ash throw it, not hold it," I said, making Ash nod as he picked one.
"R-Right! Pokéball, go!"
The ball he picked out was thrown and opened up, revealing a Pidgey! But the moment it was called out, the intimidation that Ekans was showing caused it to shriek and fly away in fear, much to Ash's disbelief.
"What!?"
"These Pokémon or too inexperienced," I muttered."Sorry, girl. But I will need you to fight back even though you just recovered. Ready?" I asked her.
"Owth!" She cried as she jumped forward to face both Koffing and Ekans.
As she got ready, the three barged inside with confident and cocky looks on their faces.
"That little feline won't beat us!" Jessie said with an arrogant tone.
"I wouldn't speak so soon, Empuress Scratch!" I called as she rushed forward, swiping claws at Koffing and Ekans. Both of them yelped in pain before they endured the blow.
"That wasn't enough..." I said, chewing my cheek and thinking of a better option.
"Hahaha! Nice try, purple hair boy But not good enough! Ekans, Wrap attack, go!" Jessie sneered.
"Koffing, use your Tackle attack!" James added.
The two shot forward to land their attacks... not like I was going t to let them.
"Dodge them! Then use Furry Swipes!" I shouted out.
With quick reflex, Empuress was able to evade the strikes her opponents tried to give before she swiped her claws at them quickly. Still, like before, they resisted the damage and could recover immediately.
"Argh! This is no time for playing! This is the time for attacking and stealing!" James snapped in annoyance.
"You're just wasting your time," I stated while Ash took another Pokéball, he thought he could use.
"Another one... Try this one on for size!" He called out as he threw it... only for nothing to come out once it opened up!
"Ah!? Empty!?" He exclaimed in shock while the nurse frowned.
"We're never gonna beat them this way!" The girl complained.
"Some of the Pokéballs are empty!" Nurse Joy explained, much to our disbelief.
'Empty Pokéballs must belong to the Pokémon currently resting in the Center in the recovery room.'
"Well, now she tells me... This feels like a real winner! Pokéball, go!" Ash called as he threw another one for battle.
This time, it revealed a Rattata, who seemed ready for battle, only for James to sneer at the sight of the common Pokémon.
"Hmph. Pipsqueak." He sneered while Meowth laughed.
"Ha! Meowth!"
And like with that Pidgey, Ekans immediately scared Rattata away, much to Ash's dismay as I clicked my tongue.
"All of them are too inexperienced to battle against them. They can't win," I said.
Empuress growled, preparing to attack until the girl stepped up in front of us with a Pokéball in her hand.
"What are you doing!?" I asked.
"I'm doing what I have to do! I'm going to have to take this into my own hands! You two grab Pikachu and your other Pokémon and get out of here! I'll take care of these three clowns!" She declared bravely.
"Got it," I said with a nod before telling Ash to follow as we began to move, pushing Pikachu''s stretcher out of the area.
"That's pretty big talk, coming from such a little lady!" I heard Jessie mock, making me shake my head at her strange personality.
"Come on! You need to move faster!" I called back, looking at Ash.
"I'm trying...!" He panted as we continued to make a run for it. And we managed to make it back to the lobby, only for us to turn around and see those two same Poison Type Pokémon following after us!
Have to admit there persistent.
CRASH!
"Ah! " Ash yelped as we crashed into something... only for us to see that it was the girl's burnt bike. Surprisingly it still here! You would've thought it'd be destroyed after all the chaos those morons sowed into the Pokémon Center so far.
However, the worst part was we turned only to see the same three behind us. I narrowed my eyes, seeing that the girl's attempt to help us escape didn't work. I took a stance I front of Ash with Empuress growling.
"Now, this is your last chance. Hand over all your Pokémon or prepare to fight!" James demanded.
"No way you're getting our Pokémon!" I stated, which made Jessie laugh in amusement.
"You're a feisty one? How cute," Jessie said as she looked about, ready to step forward only to stop.
"Pikachu!"
We turned in surprise to see Pikachu looking completely recovered, and not only that, all the Pikachu that worked in the Pokémon Center came over and joined Ash's partner at the stretcher.
"Whoa...!?" Ash yelped in surprise as I merely watched.
"The Pikachu must be here to help," I said.
It turned out I was correct as the Pikachu gathered around Ash's partner, as they all began to charge up, showing little electrical sparks, a sign that was telling us that they were ready to deliver a big shock.
And a big shock was delivered, as all of them unleashed a combined Thunder Shock attack onto the trio and their Pokémon, causing them to scream in pain from the attack they were taking.
"AHHHHHHHH!"
By the time the shock was done, the trio was groaning, standing still as if they were paralyzed from the attack they had taken. That gives us a chance to strike back!
"Pikachu!"
Ash and I turned our heads to see Pikachu standing on top of all the Pokémon, looking invigorated. The Thunder Shock that the Pikachu has done must've brought him back to full health!
"Pikachu!" Ash exclaimed happily.
"Looks like the electricity from those little ones helped him out..." I pointed out in awe.
"Do I have to do everything!? That mouse is cat food, Meowth! Just wait, Pikachu and female Meowth. You two are mine!"
Our heads turned back to see one of the trio, Meowth, was still standing. He must've dodged the full brunt of the Thunder Shock attack, leaving him the only one that hasn't taken any damage in this fight. His teammates, on the other hand, were stunned, paralyzed from the shock they'd taken just now.
"It's a waste of time. You're the only one left able to fight," I said, letting him know it was pointless.
"Meow!"Empuress cried out, running and jumping into the air as she slammed on Meowth. Meowth shrieked in pain as he stumbled from the blow to his head.
"MEOWTH! That hurts right on the head!" He groaned, holding onto his bruised self.
"Nice job," I complimented as she returned to me.
"Pika! Pika, Pika, Pika!" Pikachu suddenly said, catching our attention as Ash tried to translate what his partner was saying.
"Pika... Pika?" He repeated in confusion.
"Pika!" A nod came from the Mouse Pokémon, allowing Ash to understand what he was trying to say.
"Pika... Pika-power?"
"Pika!"
"Pika-power, so he saying that he wants the Pikachu to give him more electric power to deliver the final blow!"I explained to Ash, who perked up in realization.
"Oh... I get it! So all Pikachu needs is more power!" He exclaimed. He turned his eyes to the burnt bike..., and without a second to delay, he quickly got onto the girl's burnt bike before he began to pedal on it as fast as he could.
"E-Eh? What's this?" Meowth widened his eyes at the sight while I turned to Empuress, who nodded, saying we should back up.
"Well, let's just say that Pikachu and I are gonna generate some excitement for you, Meowth!" Ash grunted as he began to put more pace into the pedaling, allowing the light on the bike to start working.
"Uh...?"
"Uh oh..."
"Meowth...?" The trio gulped as the light started to glow even brighter! Once it did, Ash's partner got on top of the bike's lights, allowing him to take power from the bike's light, to ready an electric charge that began to store up in his body!
And before the trio knew it...
"Pika... Pika... Pika... PIKACHU!"
ZAP!
A giant Thunder Shock attack was shot at them, zapping them hard until the smoke from Koffing's body caused an explosion... creating an impact that knocked the trio and their Pokémon allies flying into the air
"WHOA!"
"AH!"
We both yelped in surprise as we were also knocked away by how immense the Thunder Shock's power was. And that wasn't all... the power from the electric attack was so immense... it didn't just knock us and the morons away... it caused a big explosion of the entire Pokémon Center.
KABOOM!

Third POV
The following day after the mess with Team, and a good rest. Dustin and Ash walked out of the Pokémon Center. Now ready to continue their journey.
"Hey, Dusk?" Ash said, getting Dustin attention.
"Yeah, what is?" Dustin asked, looking over at Ash.
"About last night, why did you say those words about the female?" Ash asked curiously.
"Meowth?" Empuress said from on my shoulder, wondering if the say thing.
"Well, it just didn't seem right calling her old, besides wasn't lying. She does have pretty eyes," Dustin replied. "Anyway, I hope you're ready because learn about medicine and making Pokemon food because it, not it is to learn."
"I'm ready, Dusk," Ash said as they left the Pokémon Center.
"Hold it!" A voice said. They turned to see the girl from last night.
"Oh, hi again, um," Dustin said.
"The name Misty," She said, looking at Dustin and then over at Ash."And I'm not done with you! Have you forgotten my bike?"
"Can't you just let go?" Ash asked.
"No way you promised you would pay me back. I won't stop until you buy me a new bike!"
Ash then grabbed Dustin's hand, making him sigh at how much work he had to help Ash grow to be more than responsible, but he still was going to keep his promise.
"Hey, get back here!" Misty yelled, running after them.
However, what they are unaware of and certain Eevee running after them close behind Misty.
To be continued...
Dustin's Team:
Pokemon On Hand:
Meowth: (F) [Eumpuress]
Aerodactyl (M) [Aeroblaster]
Vulpix (F) [Kitsune]
Spearow (M) [Gale]
Ash's Team:
Pikachu (M) (On hand)
Question of the chapter: Who do you think the Eevee is following?
Also, it looks like most of you want Jessie to join Dustin and the gang on the Gaint Pokemon island. Now I was wondering if James and Meowth stay bad and an Oc takes Jessie's place, or Cassidy and Butch will take their place after Pikachu or two Oc take their place?
