Summary

"As the rider came closer, Jeweldean's mood took a complete turn. The mysterious rider was not Sonny, and on the horse's saddle, a body wrapped in burlap was tied. Tears swelled up in Jeweldean's eyes as the rider dismounted. Coming closer to her, Jeweldean saw that it was Clint, Sonny's best friend. Even though Jeweldean had known Clint for several years, right now he seemed more like a stranger than anything else.
Once Clint made eye contact with Jeweldean, he removed his hat, and looked at the ground as he continued to walk towards her.
Jeweldean's hands flew up to her mouth and the tears that had swelled up in her eyes broke loose, as if a floodgate had just been opened.
"Lord God, please don't let it be Sonny. God please. Please." Jeweldean screamed ferociously in her mind."

Callieburg is a pretty typical Western town, but, just like most towns in the 1800s, it has it's own share of dangers.

Sonny and Jeweldean McArthur enjoy their ranch life on their 26,000 acres. With a growing family, Sonny works nearly twenty fours hours a day, seven days a week, just so his family can get by.

However, when Sonny is involved in a freak accident, he is captured by some nasty bandits, and the McArthur family is shown the bad, dangerous side of Callieburg.

The trek for Sonny to find his way back home to his beloved family will not be easy. With God on his side, will Sonny be able find his way home, or will the journey back be too treacherous?

Author's Note: Hey, y'all, I hope y'all enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it. My one disclaimer is that I wrote this book about six years when I was much younger than I am now, so my writing style was no where near where it is now, so I apologize that the book is not as well written as my other books. I hope that y'all still give it a chance. ;) Thanks again, and please let me know what y'all think of it, and if you have any advice. Happy reading and God bless. :)
