Destination #1
Waking up, Cathal groans as he rises to his feet.
Name: Cathal Lehmann
Race: Human
Lvl: 1
HP: 100/100
MP: 250/250
Class:
Skills: None! Did you really think I'd give you any advantage? Of course not!
Flinching, Cathal looks at his surroundings and notices that he's in a dark, dingy alleyway. "Fucking hell," he mutters to himself. "My back hurts like a bitch." Limping out of the alleyway, he notices something strange. One, a blue skinned humanoid with two tentacles growing from the back of their head: a twi'lek. The second being the near never-ending city above his head. A feeling of vague familiarity flows through his head. "Where the hell am I?" He mumbled. Like a jolt of lightning, two words flashed through his mind:
Star Wars.
The franchise that redefined cinema, with so much lore that Disney had to nuke it just so they could tell the story they wanted to tell. 'A lot of powerful beings, but there are ways to even the score'
Oh, I almost forgot. You're not the only "Player". You're only the most recent, and Hoo, BOY! You are outmatched by all of them. Get stronger meatbag, I want you to last.
Going pale, Cathal immediately starts forming a plan. 'I need credits, a blaster, information, and a melee weapon.' Straightening his posture, he immediately looks for anything resembling an easy target for credits. Spotting another Twi'lek, this one being a deep purple, Cathal slowly follows, waiting for his target to leave the street. Soon enough, his opportunity opens up. He follows the purple humanoid down an alley.
"You know, you're not exactly subtle". Those words cause Cathal to freeze in his tracks. The Twi'lek moves his hand to his belt, deholstering a blaster pistol before turning around. "Look, I wasn't looking for any trouble, I was just gonna ask for directions to a bar". Cathal lies, trying to reason with the newly identified male sentient. Taking a couple of steps forward, the Twi'lek frowns.
"....Liar".
As if by instinct, Cathal dodges to the side right as a blaster bolt flies past him, illuminating the alley in red for an instant. Dashing towards the hostile Twi'lek, he throws a punch at their cheek, causing them to stumble with a grunt. Taking advantage of the opening, Cathal grabs the arm holding the blaster and knees the back of the twi'lek's hand, causing them to drop the blaster. A shoulder to the gut causes Cathal to let go, and leaves him vulnerable to a strong fist aimed at his nose.
-10 HP
Stumbling away with his eyes tearing up, Cathal manages to dodge a kick aimed at his chest
"I don't know what your deal is, but you're not leaving this alley alive".
The words didn't even register in his dazed mind before his instincts screamed to roll to the side, allowing him to dodge another strong boot. Coming out of the roll, his hand brushes on the blaster, which he grabs without hesitation. Standing up, he rapidly pulls the trigger. Half a dozen red lights flash through the alley. The Twi'lek collapses, dead. Taking a moment to catch his breath, Cathal closes his eyes, trying to not look at the dead body a few meters away from his feet.
+12 XP
Loot Corpse?
Y/N
Without thinking, Cathal walks over to the dead sentient and starts rifling through his pockets.
+200 republic credits
+1 Vibroblade
+1 Liquidsilver L7 blaster pistol
Standing straight, Cathal looks closer at the body. Three marks from the bolts, one fatal. A shot through the center of the neck. The other two could barely be considered scrapes. A light graze on the right side of the chest, and another grazed one of the Twi'leks lekku.
Wow, almost died in your first fight. You really are pathetic! Good luck, meatbag!
New perk: Gunplay- Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side. Sidearms are easier to use
"There's gotta be a way to pull up my stats", Cathal mumbles to himself. As the last words leave his mouth, a new text box appears in front of his face
Difficulty: Hardcore- you only get one chance. Drops are very rare, and damage is realistic. All it take is one unlucky hit, and you're out
Cathal stops breathing for a moment. "You've got to be kidding me, one hit could kill me?", He whispers in disbelief
Quest complete!
Survive your first fight 1/1
Reward: 1 gacha token
'Gacha, what the hell is Gacha?' An arcade token appears in his hand, surprising him.
You might want to flip the coin
With a shrug, Cathal flips the coin, and catches it. Upon opening his hand, the coin morphs into a blue jewel
New reward obtained: Blue Kyber Crystal
Reward type: key item
Rarity: Epic
The crystal that gives a lightsaber its blade
Dismissing the text box, he inspects the crystal. The blue tint added mystical aura to the small gem. With a glance over his shoulder he pockets the Kyber Crystal.
Wow, you don't know what Gacha is? You're in for a rough time. Actually, you know what? Since you did better that 90% of the other Players, who were playing on easier modes, I'll be nice and explain Gacha to you. Gacha is like gambling, but you get a reward no matter what, and the chances of being shot are considerably lower.
"Huh, would you look at that. The mysterious GM is actually helping me", Cathal chuckles.
This was a one time thing. A tidbit of info to help you learn the Game. You'll still have to learn what Isekai is, meatbag.
Okay? Steeling himself, Cathal prepares himself for the long journey ahead. First step, learning about his location.
