The air in the room felt cold on Andromidon's skin. She shuddered. She motioned to Nuke that it was safe to enter the room. He came in, gun in hand. She pulled hers out as well. The guns were equipped to kill just about anything. Aliens, demons, humans, you name it. Nothing stood a chance against the Westchester m-107. It was named after Westchester county, which had been the first to go after the door to Hell opened. That was about the same time the alien invasion started. 3031 was just an unlucky year.

Andromidon remembered that fateful day in Westchester. She recalled the sounds of her neighbors screams as they were torn apart by demons. She was only twelve at the time. Those sounds would haunt her for the rest of her life. Her parents yelled out to her. She answered and ran to the basement, which was fully equipped to keep them alive for months, and was fortified to the point where not even a bomb blast could harm them.

It held for two weeks. The demons had eventually given up, but then the alien invasion began. Andromidon and her parents were sleeping, when there was a loud bang on the door. Then another. And another. The iron door came crashing to the ground. The aliens came running in. They looked like people, but they had large black horns emerging from their heads and cheeks.

Three aliens stood before them, each with a wide grin on their face. Andromidon his in the closet while her parents tried to defend her. The things she had witnessed that day… they were just unthinkable.
