"MOVE ASIDE WHORE OF the damned, I need my brother," The Queen Bee of Riverdale high stormed into the empty music room where she heard the haughty moans of another one of her brother's charity cases. "Did I not make myself clear? Move."

The brunette glared daggers at Cheryl as she collected her top from Xavier's fingers that held onto it lazily. He was studying the brunette with a cocky smirk as he watched her saunter her way out of the room angrily. Cheryl watched her go before turning to her brother who was already staring at her expectantly.

"Really? Zit face Jamie was your next screw?" Xavier rolled his eyes at his sister and dug into his inner coat pocket for his pack of cigarettes. "She wasn't my 'next screw' Cheryl."

"Obviously. I stopped it before you could make that mistake," Cheryl defended, crossing her arms over her chest. "You should be thanking me."

She looked down at her brother who nursed the cigarette between his lip, lighting the end. She stomped her foot, wanting to capture his attention away from the cancer stick in his mouth.

He dismissed her, and gripped the drug between his fingers. Slowly, he drew the cigarette away from his lips and puffed out rings of smoke with a smirk. He met her brown eyes that were filled with hurt. He threw his head back and groaned.

"I wasn't going to fuck her. Had to make her believe that if I wanted head, baby sis," he answered while taking another drag. He pursed his lips and angled his head slightly to the right as he exhaled. He narrowed his eyes at her. "But, you stopped that before it could even happen."

"Poor you, how will you ever function? Jesus, Xavy," Cheryl pouted, her voice dripping with faux sympathy. "Anyways, I need you to come with me."

"I'm not some fucking dog, Cheryl," Xavier scowled at his sister who raised an eyebrow at him. "I'm not going to come with you whenever you'd like. Boss around one of your bitches, but not me."

He peeled himself off of the wall and tried to brush past her. She raised her hand, placing it on his chest. He paused in his steps, eyes ablaze. They met hers that had a spark in them. He challenged her; towering over her smaller frame, viridian eyes boring into hers with a malicious gleam.

She held her breath, fear creeping along her skin that arose in goosebumps. He cocked his head to the side, eyes daring her to speak.

He took the cigarette between his index and ring finger, lips parting. The nicotine clouds slithered around her face, cradling her cheeks. She winced, and coughed when she inhaled some of the smoke. He smirked, and clasped his hand around her wrist.

"Never interfere with my timing, ever again," his voice was deep with venom. He leaned in, his face centimeters from hers. He could feel her beginning to shake. He scoffed and gave her a horrific smile. "We clear, Cheryl?"

"C-crystal." She stuttered, unable to find the confidence in her shaky delivery. His smile became plastic. "Good. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get a snack."

He didn't wait for her response. Dropping her hand from his chest, Xavier brushed his shoulders against hers and made his way out of the room.

Xavier Blossom carried himself with pristine precision. He radiated dominance that could be seen through his graceful strides. He held his head high with that arrogant smirk nursing the cigarette between his lips. He didn't care for the rules; he was untouchable.

He entered the student lounge where he was greeted by a few of the football guys. He nodded at them in acknowledgement, his smirk widening. He shook his head at their stupidity and made his way to the ending machine.

Staring at the contents present within them, his eyes lit up when he saw a package of M&Ms. With ease, he reached into his back pocket and pulled out his leather wallet. He pulled out a dollar bill and slipped it into the machine.

"And here I thought he wouldn't waste his money on this place," Xavier chuckled at her remark. He didn't spare her a glance, his eyes trained on the candy that was slowly inching forward. "Hm. Is that so?"

The package dropped from its confinement. Xavier leaned down to pick it up. He shifted his body to face Veronica Lodge.

He took in her appearance that was once again, styled in a fitting dress that brought out her curves. He couldn't help the grin that stretched across his lips when he caught sight of the pearls around her neck.

Daddy's little girl. . . Hm. Would she be his?

"Mhm," Veronica hummed with a playful cheeky grin. He took the cigarette from his lips as his tongue ran along his bottom lip. He took his lip between his teeth, eyes studying her up and down before he met her dark eyes again. "Hello to you too, Veronica."

He pressed the bud of the drug against the vending machine, extinguishing it. He dropped it carelessly to the floor; he didn't care for the repercussions as they never applied to him. He tore open the bag and popped an M&M into his mouth.

Xavier chewed on the sweet, his eyes watching her while his thoughts spoke volumes for his silence. He was waiting for her response, his amusement seeping through his boyish grin.

"Do you have any plans tomorrow night?" She finally asked. Her voice held a hint of hesitation which surprised him. His gun became cheeky. Veronica bit her lip. "May I ask why the sudden interest?"

"Well, if you're available you should come to the drive in," Xavier raised an eyebrow at her and plopped more M&Ms in his mouth. He looked at her beneath hooded lashes, eyes gleaming with mischief. "Now why would I do that, hm?"

"Because I'll be there," she quipped smoothly. He nodded his head, clearly impressed. "And I promise it'll be worth your while."

"That's a pretty bold promise, Lodge,"

Xavier teased as he whistled through his teeth. He bowed his head to hide his on growing smile. Veronica brought her hand under his chin, raising it so that they met one another's eyes. His eyes widened in surprise. Nobody ever got as close as she did. Maybe that's why he was slightly curious.

"I don't make promises I can't keep, red." they held one another's eyes, neither one dared to break it. Xavier's tongue ran along his lower lip again just as Veronica's breath hitched. "Okay, love birds, calm it down."

Rolling his eyes, Xavier jerked away from Veronica's hold and turned to his sister. His lips raised in a nasty sneer. Cheryl held her ground. He shook his head and found interest in Veronica again.

"Just ignore her," he advised, his tone clipped, voice cold. "She's a petty little thing, really."

"Clearly," Veronica muttered, crossing her arms over her chest. Xavier peeled himself from against the vending machine and flashed Veronica a tight lip smile. "Good luck."

"Thanks."

Xavier removed himself from the situation, not wanting to be apart of his sister's schemes. He only made it a few steps away from the two when he stopped. He scolded himself for turning back and approaching a surprised Veronica.

"Xavier, do you━━"

He cut off his sister by blocking her with his back. Her mouth fell open in shock, while Veronica giggled. He smirked at her and cocked his head to the side. He leaned in close and shot his hand forward so that he caged her in between his body and the machine.

Her heart fluttered.

His dominance was overbearing and she couldn't help, but want more. She craved his alluring presence that was thunderous. Ronnie gulped thickly.

"I forgot to mention," he leaned in dangerously close, his lips hovering over her earlobe. "Save me a seat tomorrow night, alright, babygirl?"

He drew back, painfully slow. He met her eyes again that were colored in lust while his were unreadable. A storm was building in his eyes of deep blue that were a splash of jaded green.

They were enchanting. Veronica found herself getting lost in their currents that would hold her under. . .

And just like that, Xavier blinked, breaking her trance. She nodded her head vigorously, stumbling over her words of agreement.

"Good," he popped another chocolate piece into his mouth while backing away. Veronica watched, holding her breath. He gave her a cheeky grin and winked, "I'll see you later, Ronnie."

VERONICA LODGE SAT BACK down after yelling at the Serpents for making too much noise. Kevin held onto the bucket, his mouth propped out in surprise. "I cannot believe you just threatened a gang-banger!" Veronica plugged out the air from her cheeks. "I've dealt with worst in the East Village."

She turned to Kevin who was watching her with interest. "I just hate people who disrespect my cinematic experience." Veronica exhaled her frustration.

Her attention fell to her phone that hadn't any new notifications. She frowned.

"He still hasn't texted you?" Kevin questioned, noticing how she kept looking at her phone every five minutes. When she shoved it back in her pocket with force, he knew it meant he hadn't texted her. Veronica sighed. "Nope."

"Didn't he say to save him a seat?" Kevin's eyebrows knitted together in perplexity. Veronica leaned her head back against the truck's back window. "Yeah, but instead I have his sister taking his spot."

The two turned to Cheryl who but onto her licorice with a smug smile. Veronica scowled, irritated by the redhead's presence.

"How about a refill?" Veronica suggested to the redhead. She handed Cheryl the bucket of popcorn with a cheeky grin that didn't match the annoyance in her eyes.

Cheryl took the bucket in her hands and gave Veronica a sickly sweet smile. She looked past the raven haired beauty and found Kevin's emerald eyes of clear green. Kevin's frown deepened.

"Yeah Kev, how about a refill?" Extending the bucket towards Kevin, Cheryl added, "Cherry Cola as always."

Kevin took a inhaled as he took the bucket with annoyance. He huffed, shaking his head as he hopped out of the back of the pickup. Veronica rolled her eyes and scooted away from Cheryl who only inched closer.

Veronica looked out at the crowd, her eyes spitting her mother who was rounding the corner into a suspicious looking area. Veronica's brows came together, a wrinkle forming at the center of her forehead.

"If you're looking for my brother, you're wasting your time," Cheryl kept her eyes straight ahead, despite Veronica's eyes burning holes at the side of her face. "He's not going to come."

"And how do you know that? You aren't his keeper," Veronica snapped, her eyes once again looking at the screen of her phone that was clear of any messages. Cheryl scoffed. "True, but if my brother cared to remember he would've came over an hour ago."

Veronica remained silent.

"Don't feel so bad, V," Cheryl chirped as she bit the red vine in her hand. "Xavier doesn't care much for anyone. You were never an exception. Even if he made you believe otherwise."

Xavier Blossom was leaning against his cherry red jaguar staring up at the starry night sky. Nicotine clouds slithered past his plump lips, their grasp trying to touch the stars above.

He lowered his head and brought the drug to his lips where he took one last drag. His eyes fell onto her room window was the only one with the lights on. His lips quirked into a devilish grin.

Dropping the cigarette to the floor, he stomped it out with the heel of his foot and ran over to her front porch. He raped his knuckles against the wooden door and propped his elbow against the frame. He rested his hand on his forehead while waiting with his legs crossed.

He heard noises from the other side before the door creaked open. He chuckled when baby blue eyes peeped through the crack. His free hand that rested in his pocket came out to wave at her.

She swung open the door, half her body coming outward as she held onto the door for support. He watched her with amusement.

"Xavier?" Her eyes skittered back and forth, searching for anyone else behind him. "What are you doing here?"

"Parents home?" He got off of the doorframe and opened the door wider so he could enter. She tumbled back as he entered her home. He glanced around, the darkened living room, but nodded in approval. "Nice place."

It felt homely. Something he hadn't known ever since. . . No, now wasn't the time to reminisce about the past. He sniffed, swiping at his nose.

"Xavier you can't just━━" Betty lowered her voice, her tone coming off as an aggressive whisper. He smiled at her, his teeth shinning in the dark once he closed the door behind them. "Is this where your room's at?"

He walked over to the staircase, his tall frame hanging around it like it was a toy. Betty's eyes widened. He laughed softly. Once she locked the door, Betty tip toed over to Xavier and grabbed him by the hand. Shushing him, she lead him up the stairs and into her room.

She pressed her body against her door and locked it. Xavier smirked, craning his neck over his shoulder to see her shoulders sag in relief. He shook his head and glanced around her room.

"It's so. . . pink," he acknowledged with a teasing grin. Betty felt her cheeks grow warm. "Not to say I don't like it. It's oddly. . . cute. Fits you."

Betty toyed with her fingers and went towards her bed. She sat down on it, watching Xavier's tall frame stalk around her room, eyeing each of her belongings. Seeming bored with his findings he walked towards Betty with an arrogant smirk gracing his lips.

"What are you doing here, Xavier?" Xavier's eyes roamed her ceiling. He pretended not to hear her question. "Xavier?"

"I wanted to see you," he answered smoothly, lips pouted. He met her eyes that were filled with surprise yet awe. He shrugged his shoulders, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Is that such a crime, princess?"

N-no, it's just━━ I didn't expect you to come." Betty stuttered, rubbing her clammy hands against her jeans. His smile turned crooked. "It's a nice surprise."

"Hmm,"

Xavier hummed, eyes closed. He opened them after a few seconds and took strides towards Betty. She flinched; she wasn't used to someone with a strong sense of dominance interested in her. It made her feel weak━━ he made her feel small.

"Do I make you nervous, Ms. Betty Cooper?" Xavier asked, getting closer to the blonde. Betty inhaled, her breathing became choppy. Xavier's lips curved at the corners. Betty nodded, biting her lip. Xavier chuckled. "Such a shame."

He pulled away, giving her her space. Betty released the breath she hadn't realized she had been holding. Xavier pulled out his phone and began texting. Betty frowned.

"You're not. . . leaving are you?" Xavier perked up from his phone. He slid the device back in his pocket. "Would you prefer that I did?"

"No. I. . . Do you think you could spend the night with me?" Betty questioned, voice barely above a whisper. Xavier's eyebrows furrowed together. He took careful steps towards the blonde. "What was that princess?"

"Stay with me," She got up from her bed and stood inches away from the man whose fire licked curls burned through the hickory dye. They fell into his eyes that enchanted her. She rubbed her hands on his arms, voice begging, "Please?"

"So?" Cheryl quizzed, almost smug. She was studying Veronica's deflated figure. She was staring at her screen after it had pinged. Cheryl rolled her eyes. "Did my lousy excuse of a brother text you or not?"

"Yeah." Veronica answered, voice on the brink of cracking. She should've known better. Why did she expect anything more? "He did."

"And what did he say?"

Veronica didn't answer. She shoved her phone into Cheryl's hand and walked away. She felt the tears beginning to pool in her eyes. How had she been so stupid? So naive? Cheryl was right.

Cheryl looked down at the screen in confusion. Her eyes skimmed through the text. She couldn't help, but sarcastically laugh.

Can't make it. I'm sorry.

"Well played, brother," Cheryl beamed, re-reading the nonchalant text. She smiled wickedly, knowing the fun had just begun. "Game on."
