Chapter Twenty
Marshal was hanging out in his home trying to figure out a new song to sing. Usually he would get inspiration from Gumball, but considering how he cut Marshall out of his life....it was clear that he needed to get some from someone else.
"Sigh...This is so hard." Marshall said while gently placing down his guitar. This wasn't working. He needed to get inspired and thinking about his latest breakup with Gumball wasn't helping him gain it. Before he could give up for the day....Marshall remembered Stan's newest boyfriend.
He seemed like he was a good listener and had advice to give. So maybe...if he talked to him then he can find some inspiration and a new boyfriend too.
"Hopefully this works." Marshall said to him self as he prepared to head over to Stan's new home. During this time, The Louds started to head out for the day while preparing to find their missing member.
"Are you sure that going to the mall is a good idea?" Lola said as she got into Vanzilla. Don't get her wrong, she loved the mall and would always go if she was able. However, it didn't sit right with her at the moment since it would lead to a series of misunderstandings.
"No, but I want us to go out and have at least some fun before going back to moping." Lori stated. It has been a rough couple of days for each of them and also a time of reflection.
They needed to be better.
They wanted to be better.
Lincoln needed them to be better.
He was still missing and they all knew if they had a chance of bring their son/brother back home then they had to change. It wouldn't be easy, but they were all up to the challenge besides their brother would want to be better people. Shaking her head, Lori slowly pulled out and started to head towards the mall. This would be good for them all since...moping about their past sins would only do more harm then any actual good.
As she continued to drive, she could see the anxious looks on her sister's faces. This could either be good or bad for them, but she has to take this chance. No matter what other people think of their trip to the mall.
Meanwhile, Lincoln sneezed and continued washing the clothes of the household. He was mindful of his roommates (lovers) and made sure to knock before entering their rooms. Most were out hanging out with their friends while the others were still in the house. Sighing...he wondered how his years under the roof of his old home made him a good house keeper.
"It's nice not to listen to lots of noise for a change or constantly go to the mall." He said to himself. He did miss his family, for the most part, but he couldn't go back. Not after the latest sin that they cast against him. They always did that. None of them would leave him alone and would get on his case about his romantic interests. Plus they always blamed him for things that go wrong despite never doing anything in the first place.
If he went back then it'll just be a never ending cycle of meaningless apologies and constant problems. He managed to get a life here and he wouldn't give this up. He also got numerous lovers who also suffered as well and knew that the number will keep going as time passes. Hopefully, he can make them happy and give them each a stress free life.
So he continued the laundry as a certain vampire knocked on the door.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter, Bye 👋
