Chapter Four

I don't own the pictures or characters.

Lincoln was still heading down the unknown trail when he noticed something odd. The forest seemed almost magical and he could see species of things that were only heard of in fairy tales such as unicorns, fairies and mermaids/mermans.

"Wow. I never knew that these things are real. Glad that none of my sisters are with me or else they could easily disturb the peace that they have here." Lincoln said. He wasn't about to tell anyone else about this place...since that would destroy everything that the mystical animals lived in. He could imagine scientists taking them from their habitats and experimenting on them while selfish people would steal one or buy one just to show off to their friends. Lincoln wouldn't wish that any anyone especially not these creatures who have nothing, but live in peace and harmony. At the same time, the person who was following him blushed seeing how compassionate this new monster was. Most humans would try to tell someone and they would have to kill them to keep quiet. Yet..this one didn't want that since it would mean that the creatures would be unhappy.

"I guess this new monster is a rare breed." He said to himself knowing that he had to move fast or some of the other single monsters would get to him first. Not like he had a problem with sharing him, but that's besides the point. He needed to be taken to the village so his form could be unlocked. But if he shows himself....

Who's to say that he wouldn't get scared and run away?

At the same time, Lori was staring at her phone in silence. Bobby had told her that her actions against her brother was despicable and unforgivable. And stated that this may very well be the end of their relationship. Normally Lori would be devastated at the possibility of losing her beloved Bobby, but she couldn't bring herself to do so. She only wanted her brother back. A brother that she realized that she took advantage of and even tried to set him up with Ronnie Anne despite him telling her that he never saw her that way.

"Why did I treat him that way?" Lori said to herself before Leni's voice reminded her that she wasn't alone.

"What way?" Leni asked.

"You know what I mean. I took advantage of my brother's kindness and tried to set him up with Ronnie Anne." Lori said.

"But weren't they good for each other?" Leni asked.

"At the time, Yes. But now...it disgusts me that I tried to force them together. Not to mention how many times, I threatened him." Lori said remembering the multiple times that she threatened to turn him into a human pretzel.

"I guess that she should've treated him better. I mean, he is our little brother after all." Leni said.

"That's true, but looking back...How often did we make a pariah in his own home? We never included him in the sister protocol and bothered to tell him what happens in it. We even kicked him out of the house at one point without a second thought." Lori said.

"Calm down Lori. We can still fix things with Lincoln." Leni said.

"That may be more easier said than done. Some of us may even be well beyond the point of forgiveness while others..." Lori started before Leni hugged her.

"I'm sure that he won't hold a grudge. Lincoln loves us and will never stay mad at us for long." Leni said knowing full well that they may need to earn his love, trust and forgiveness back. Speaking of which, Lincoln was staring at a river and admired it's beauty.

"Wow. I've never seen such a beautiful river like this in my life." Lincoln said. He enjoyed seeing water that wasn't contaminated by trash and how it seemed to have a really peaceful vibe which calmed him greatly. As he was busy looking at the lake, he didn't see someone coming up behind him until he was tapped on one of his shoulders.

When he turned around, he came face to face with a teenage boy with pale skin and green hair and eyes. He also had two marks underneath his eyes and two snakes around him.

"Hello. So what brings you here?" The boy asked. The boy was expecting Lincoln to faint or even scream, but instead he just answered his question.

"To be honest, I was trying to find a new place to live after spending a couple of months in hell because of one baseless rumor spreading around on the Internet." Lincoln said.

"That's rough." The boy said.

"It is. Anyway...What made you finally approach me?" Lincoln said which surprised the boy.

"You knew that I was following you?" The boy asked which made Lincoln chuckle.

"Of course I did. If you lived in a house with a sister who randomly keeps popping up everywhere...you would notice people too." Lincoln said.

"I wanted to see what your reaction would be. You're not like most of the people who walk through these parts so I thought that you wouldn't talk to me or just try to run." The boy said.

"I get that a lot. I feel different that most of the people around me which makes me think that I don't belong." Lincoln said.

"I know why that is and once I say so...you may freak out." The boy said.

"I'm sure that whatever you say won't make me freak out. But before you tell me..Can you tell me your name?" Lincoln said.

"Izuku and the reason why you don't feel like you belong is because you're a monster." Izuku said. Lincoln could only respond with one thing once he heard that:

WHAT?!

Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
