Jupiter stood in the middle of the park she lived near. She was around 14 years old, and she lived by herself in the streets. She was known as Queens's Lesbian, as she lived in Queens and had aslo came out to her Ex friend, who had told everyone in the street. Then, rumours happened.

Anyway, she hated everything about her life. Homelessness, pain, existence we're all things she hated.

Afterward, she went over to a library.

Jupiter pulled out a random book, one called 'fish in a tree' and started reading. She wasn't great at reading, but had gotten better through coming to the library and self teaching herself. She taught herself many wonderful things, like how a cell works, who Alexander the great was, and about Greek mythology.

A character reading a book in a book is a bit boring, so I'll skip it. She read the book for about an hour, and walked out, with more knowledge than before.
(I swear it gets better, I had no idea what to do.)
As Jupiter walked out, two random boys walked up to her.
They were carrying bats.
"H-hi. What do you guys, w, w, want?" She said, her voice Shakey.
One of them smiled at her and hit his bat against his palm.

Goddamnit Jupiter.

After a thourogh beating, Jupiter had gained a bloody nose and a black eye.
She walked over to the deserted allyway, where she normally sleeps, and say in her little collection of blankets.
She fell asleep immediatly,  getting beat up is tireing.
(I swear it gets better, no I'm not joking, exposition sucks)
When she woke up, it was nighttime. The dim stars that were weakoned by the light emmitting from the city twinkled at her. She felt content.
Suddenly, she felt something cold under her. She looked down to see blue mist circling around her back. She felt the ground under her disappear, and she fell into, wait. New York? She saw the buildings under her get closer, and she saw a new building. It said 'Stark' on it and was oddly shaped.
She hit some type of glass, and hit the ground. There was a crowd of people, but she couldn't make out their faces.
And then it all went dark.
