*Heba's POV*

"Why do I have to go to school Pops? I'm ahead of two years in the class and everyone just ignores me," I said and my Papa, Yugi just laughed and stared to scan my test results. He's always happy when I bring something home because I always pass it. Well almost everything, there's two subjects I can not nail down.

History and...maths. "Seems like you always do well Heba. But I wanna ask you something," Papa said and gave me the papers back. "You haven't really told me what you wanna do with your life. Got anything in mind for when you leave school? Also your turning 16 soon. You wanna do anything?"

"For my birthday I guess I wouldn't mind going out to the amusement park We haven't been since I was a kid. But as to what I wanna do when I leave, that I still don't know. Maybe I wanna travel and become a professional duelist." I said and lay back on my bed. 

"Becoming like your Papy huh? Quiet the path to follow huh?" I heard and saw my dad Yami walk in. He had a big grin on him and sat down on the end on my bed while my Papa got up. "Here Aibou, keep leaving your deck around the palace then one of the maids might put it in the trash."

"Ah I wondered where that went. I thought I put it in our room. Hey Heba will you be alright if me and your Dad go have a talk?" Papa asked and I nodded my head. They gave me a quick hug then they headed out of my room. I let out a little smile and went under my bed and grabbed my favorite thing in the world. I still don't understand what it is, but this puzzle was really fun to make.

I don't remember how I got it, it just appeared one day and I was working my butt off on it. Then...he appeared. "Heya Heba. See your fathers left," he said and came into my view. 

"It's Atem. Right? Sorry I'm just not used to having some sort of spirit hanging around me. So what is your reason for being here?" I asked and sat up to see him. It's a little strange, he looks like my Dad but if I brought it up to him he'd think I'm insane seeing a ghost. 

"As I said, I can't tell you that. Just don't worry too much. So I heard what your, er Papa was saying and you wanna be a duelist huh? How good are you?" he asked and I got my deck out. I showed him it and watched as he smiled at it. "Hm looks good. How many duels have you won?"

"Haven't lost one yet," I said and gave him a wink. 

"Someone seems cocky. Heh sounds like someone is coming. Talk to you another time." he said and faded away. I put the puzzle under my bed and my Dad walked in.

"Hey champ. Aibou told me what you asked for and we found a park nearby and it's open today!! Wanna get changed and head off?" he asked and I sprung to my feet.

"Are. You. Kidding!?! Of course! Give me a few minutes," I said and he laughed leaving the room. I grabbed my normal clothes of black trousers with a black top, complemented by my black boots and for a little bit of colour I grabbed my blue jacket. It's quiet funny because I keep getting told every time I wear this outfit, I look like my Papa when he was a teenager.

Before I left to meet them, I grabbed my puzzle and hid it under my jacket so that they didn't see it. I met them at the front of the doors with my two uncles waiting to see us off. "So what time will you guys be back tonight?" Seto asked and looked at his phone. I saw that the time was only 5pm.

"Well the park shuts at 11 so around about half past. Give or take," Dad said and Seto nodded.

"I guess me and Joey are gonna go pick up Haru from Tea. I think he is driving her and Mai up the roof," Joey said and everyone burst into laughter. I remember that they adopted Haru when they got married and he was only 2. I was 5 when he showed up so he is almost 13 by now. 

For a kid he really acts more mature then most kids, but he has an attitude on him. I heard from Joey that Seto was like him as a teenager, in my opinion he still does have a little bit of an attitude. We headed out and got into the car, waving a finale good bye to my uncles and headed off. "So why today? We could of went on my birthday ya know?" I asked.

"Paper work son. It's driving me up the wall and any more of it I swear I'll jump off a cliff into the ocean just to cool off," Dad said and Papa nodded, probably because he has had around about the same level of work as him. 

"I guess this works for us all huh?" I asked and they both agreed with me. As soon as we got to the park, everyone's face dropped as the car pulled up and we got out. "Ahah. I forgot what would people's reaction would be."

"It's what happens when royalty shows up. Sorry you might get this all day," Papa said and even though I knew this was going to happen, I wish we didn't have to be of royal blood sometimes. 

"Na it's fine I'm just glad that we are getting out of the palace to do something fun. Well let's not waste the day!!" I yelled and grabbed their hands dragging them along the path. All of the stands looked colourful and even the food stands smell good. The first thing we did was just a haunted maze to where I lost them. I manged to get myself out not too long after going in so I had to sit down and wait for them to come out.

"You having fun there Heba?" I heard and looked around to see who it was. It was Atem, but I can't see him. "Dummy you can't see me, I'm talking through your mind."

"How is that posible?" I asked in my head. 

"You questioning how a spirit is talking to you? I think by now that question is out the bag," he said and I could picture him smiling his snarky smile. About 15 minutes of waiting and talking to Atem they finally got out of the maze, with Papa clinging onto Dad. "Seems like those two got spooked."

"Yeah Pops always gets scared easily. Makes it fun when you see him coming around a corner. Talk later right?" I asked and just left it there.

*Atem's POV*

Still can't believe they let me come see Heba, a lot of arguing it took just for the time I have had. Watching them walk away, Heba in the middle of them I can't help but to smile at him. A part of me wants to tell him I used to know him as a baby but if he knew then it was cause confusion and they're all happy. I'm not going to spoil it. 

I guess my time here is really up now, I can't even say goodbye to him. He's all grown up, almost a full teenager and has a some what of a goal for his future He will be successful, I know it. Sayonara, Heba, Yami and Yugi Sennen. I'll still watch over yous from above.

*Heba's POV*

I sat on a bench while Papa and Dad went to get food and...felt something off. On instinct I looked down and saw the puzzle starting to disappear. "Hey! Atem what's going on!?!" I yelled but nothing came back on his end. It fully faded and only the chain I had it on was still around my neck. 

I don't get it, he comes out of the blue just to vanish like this? "Hey champ what's wrong? Something on your mind?" I heard and looked up to see my dad. "Yugi is waiting for the food, taking a long time to cook."

"Hey....Dad. Did you ever know a person called Atem?" I asked and fiddled with my hands. 

"Where have you learned that name huh?" he asked but didn't sound surprised. "Let me guess, you somehow were able to talk to him right?"

"Wha-How do you know about him!?!"I yelled and the people waling around us stop and stared at us. "Um yeah...See call me crazy but I had this weird pyrimid puzzle I worked on when I had spare time and when I finsihed it Atem started to show up and talk to me. I just wondered if somehow you knew him."

"Heh, yeah we knew him and boy what trouble happened back then," he said and sat down on the bench with me. "He liked Yugi when they met and caused trouble because of another palace. Long story short though he sacrificed himself to save Yugi and died. I saw him for a while years ago but thought he moved on. I guess this was his finale goodbye."

"It was fun to talk to him while I had the time, I just wish he would of told me he knew you guys," I said and Dad just snickered. Papa come over with the food and the rest of the day went as fast as the rides, I even manged to win a stuffed toy which was a Blue Eyes White Dragon. I couldn't of asked for a better day, and turning 16 will let me do more stuff for myself.

But I wonder though, even if Atem knew my parents way back then, if he did ever have any relation to me?? I guess I'll never know. Atem it was good to talk to you for the time I had with you.

I hope you rest in peace Atem and....thanks for saving my Pops.

And there we have it. The finale to this story. We have left it at Heba turning 16 soon, Joey and Kaiba got marred finally and  have a child called Haru and Atem really has move on now. It's been such a joy to write this story and watch as I could make some people happy. Even though there was a lot of sad moments in it but hey, what's a story if nothing bad ever happens?
