*Yami's POV*

I'm glad that we waited for so long, we now have the cover of darkness. We all stayed together and headed for the back gate of the palace. It was smaller then the one at my palace, but who knows what is behind the door.

"Seto, take some men to the gate. Yugi, come with me and stay back a bit." I said and Seto did his job and ran off with a few men. The plan was to make a fire at the gate and leave a message saying 'Stand down or prepare to fight and lose'.

Me, Yugi and the rest of the men stayed back a little and kept an eye on the walls in case we got spotted. "Yugi. Once we get back to the camp there's something I want to ask you, but it will have to wait." I said and turned to him with a smile.

"Well why can't you ask me now?" he asked and I laughed at him. The reason why? It's because I need something back there. 

I ruffled his hair and held his face. "Because I say so. Trust me, you would prefer it back there in stead of here," I said and everyone around us laughed. They all knew, I don't even think Seto knows because I wanted to tell him soon.I could smell the smoke started to come and watched as it got brighter around them.

I always used to love watching a fire, reminds me when we had a bon-fire at the palace. The flames started to grow bigger at them and it got to the point where it could be noticed and they all came running back. "Alright, start to move back. We can't be caught here." I yelled.

Everyone nodded at me and everyone turned around but I stood there for a minute looking at the flame. Some people came running out of the palace with guns and panicked.

"Yami, what are you doing. Come on!" Yugi whispered and grabbed my hand. He started to drag me away until I ran with him and we got  back to our camp out of breath. "Yami what happened back there? You froze up."

"Ahh. Sorry about that I was just...thinking about stuff. Anyway err Yugi go talk to the scouters and tell them to be careful with their rounds. Seto I need a word with you." I said and Yugi left the tent. "Seto I need a second opinion on something."

"Let me guess. Is it what you have your bag by any chance?" he asked and I couldn't help but laugh. Of course he would know, he knows everything I'm planning. I went over to my bag and grabbed what I had been hiding.

"It's been so long since I first met Yugi. And since we first started to go out and there's no telling what will happen during this fight," I said and opened the box. "But..do you think it might be too soon for me to ask him this?"

"Well in my mind I don't think Tyke would care. The amount of trouble you two have been through but still have mange to stay strong. I feel like Atem might kill you but in my opinion, no." he said and looked at the box and threw a arm over me. "I'm sure it will be fine. I'll be sure to take my time on my rounds tonight."

"Your always there for me you big dork," I said and hugged him. "Thanks Seto. Once he comes back I'll do it then."

"Well you have a little time until then so why not get your composer because your gonna flub a bit when your talking to him," he said and I went a little red. Seto left the tent and I took a deep breath.

'Alright...so how am I gonna do this,' I thought to myself. I moved around a bit and slapped myself. I got to Yugi's bed and just thought for a minute. "Alright so um...Yugi. I know I might be the most pain in the back side and. Well If I do this you won't have a normal life but...I was wondering if..."

 I'm over thinking about this, I just need to... "AHHHHH! Why can't I just do this!?!" I yelled and flopped down on my bed and sighed. This is too much, it's hurting my head and I'm getting too nervous.

"Just do what Yami?" I heard and shot up seeing Yugi at the door of the tent. Did he...just over hear my conversation with Seto?? No...did he hear me talking to myself!?!?  Oh Ra how can I do this now!!!

"Um I-I er. Do you want err... Tea!! Do you want some tea I'll make some!!" I yelled and went to the table with the kettle. What am I doing!?! I looked like a right clown just then. I heard Yugi laughing at me then he came over and wrapped his arms around me.

"You seem more on edge then normal. What's wrong?" he asked and I swear the way I was shaking it was like an earthquake. 

"Ummm I..." I mumbled and remembered to breath. "Yugi, there is something I need to ask you. Something that I can't let go by any longer." I grabbed his arms and took them off me so I could turn around to face him. It's now or never.

"Yugi, there has been many people that have left an impact in my life but you have made the biggest by far. Everything I have done I will never have for anyone else but you. Yugi, your my whole world and I know we haven't been a thing for long but I have a question for you."

I grabbed the box that I manged to slip in my pocket before he came in and went down on one knee. "Yugi Muto. I would like to ask you to become my Aibou for life and marry me. Will you accept?"

I don't care what people say, if it's not right for us to be together because we are both not royalty. But you know what I'll say to them, The Title Doesn't Mean Anything to us.

I'm so sorry for not uploading. First off my laptop's charging port has been acting up and now I'm ill!! Just one problem after another, writers block isn't easing off either. But yeah, once things are better (or if my sis will let me borrow her laptop for a bit...) I should be able to update normally.
