*Yami's POV*

I stayed up all night again... the lack of sleep is going to catch up to me soon I just know it. I decided to go for a walk, being more confident on my feet and went to my room. I opened the door quietly and peaked in on Yugi, he was sound asleep. The palaces rules is that everyone must be up for 11, or they'll have cold water tossed over them, a bit brutal but it keeps us in shape. I pulled my phone from my pocket and saw that it was coming close to 10:30, so maybe I should get him up.

"I'm very sorry Prince Yami," I heard and turned to see Shadi. "He never wanted anyone to know, especially you. He seems to have wanted to surprise you."

"Just explain why he was in the train room, there's no need for him to be in there," I said and closed the door as not too awake Yugi. 

"Well...I don't think it's my place to say what his intentions are," he said and I glared at him. He let out a nervous laugh and just shrugged. "The boy wishes to take over Mr Kaiba's job as your body guard."

"There is no way I'm allowing that, Seto has been on a regular training schedule for most of his life. I am not risking his life," I said and went to walk in the room but Shadi grabbed my arm.

"But Sire, he has completed the tests with flying colours. Also I hate to say it but he has done it in record time, he's almost on his 5th test and by then Mr Kaiba was only on his 2nd. His skills are quite impressive." he said and showed me the charts that told me his progress. He's right...Yugi hasn't had any major injures while Seto had to stop because he kept getting hurt. Is Yugi even human? 

I just stood reading the charts over and over until Shadi took it from me. Oh shoot! I left my puzzle back in the room. I left Shadi in front of Yugi's room and fast walked to the room I was in and found it on the desk. I picked it up and some papers flew to the ground, so when I went to grab them I found that it was my medical charts. 

I just laughed at them, through the things that have happened but saw the one that says I still get depression. They just think that, yeah I get upset but not as much as I used to. I put the papers back on the table and headed back to my room. I didn't knock and just walked straight in. "Yugi? Time to get up."

He turned his back to me and grunted, is he always a pain to wake up? I walked over to his face and pinched his face. "Ahh! Hey what's that for!?!" he yelled and swatted my hand away.

"Well Mr I'm going to train. There's a time in this palace to wake up at and your past it," I said and he just sighed turning the other way with the cover over him. I just laughed and had a little idea. I sat down on the bed and leaned over to him. "Heeeyy Yugi~~"

He slowly peaked his head from the cover and gave me the chance I was looking for and moved fast, stealing a kiss from him. He freaked out and threw his arms in the air, swatting me away. "Hey! No sneak attacks!!" he yelled and I could see him started to go red.

"So you wanna know when I'm kissing you? Then how about now?" I asked and moved back to him. He turned away a little but then turned back to me and locked his lips with mine. How I have missed this...

*Yugi's POV*

His touch sends shivers up and down my back, but when is the last time we had this much alone time together. He stretched his arms around my back and brought me deeper into this kiss. He brushed past my wounded arm making me moan a little. "Ah sorry, how is it anyway?" he asked and moved to see it. Since I was wearing a sleeveless shirt he didn't need to roll up anything, so he saw the bandage on it.

"It doesn't hurt that much, only when someone grabs it," I said and fixed myself so I was sitting up. "Come on, if someone saw us then it would cause trouble."

"Fine but next time, I won't stop," he said and winked at me. I just rolled my eyes at him and got out of bed. "Have a look in my draws, you can get a change of clothes. I think there should be something your size." 

"Thanks Yami, I'll have a look." I said and went over to them. When I looked for a while, I found an exact same outfit to what I was wearing so I chose that and went to get changed but Yami was staring at me. "Um, Yami?"

"Hehe alright I get it, meet me in the dinner hall for breakfast," he said and got off the bed and went to the door. He left me with a wink and I quickly got changed and raced to the hall. Everyone was already down there but no sign of Atem. Like Yami read my mind he asked a maid to what's happening to him.

"I'm afarid that the guest hasn't woken up yet, but we are keeping an eye on him," she said and Yami dismissed her.

"So what now? Didn't you say that Atem said Pegasus was planning something?" Joey asked and I nodded my head. He did say that but he passed out before he could tell me what it was. 

"I'm not taking any risks, Seto have the guards doing more rounds of the palace. And have the front line men to be on training," Yami said and Seto turned to him with a stern look. "I will not let anything happen to anyone." 

Do my eyes deice me? NOTHING BAD HAPPENED!! It feels nice letting the boys finally have a little time to themselves and not have to worry about much. But this...it just the calm before the storm. ^w^
