*Yugi's POV*

When I awoke I saw that I was snuggled up in my bed. Yami must of brought me home. I guess he couldn't stay, but that is to expected, him being the prince. I'll go see him today ate I have something to eat. Going down stairs, mommy was already awake and so was grandpa. "Morning Yugi, what do you have planned today?" Mommy asked.

"I'm gonna spend the day with Joey again. There's a new game out that we want to check out. Also I want to complete the puzzle I have in my room," I said and started to eat the breakfast in front of me. After I finished I grabbed one of the puzzles and ran off to Yami's home.

Getting through the bushes again I saw Yami sitting with his back facing me. Maybe I can give him a fright. Sneaking up, I jumped on him and we both fell to the ground. "Ahaha! Got ya, how yo doing Yami? Or should I say prince?" I asked and started to laugh. He didn't react to me at all, he didn't even hug me. "Yami? Are you ok?"

"...Yugi?" I heard and he finally turned around to me. He looks so sad! His eyes are red and watery, what happened to him! "Ah I'm sorry, don't think too much of this," he said and wipe his eyes. "What's in that box?"

"Hey don't change the subject! Why are you upset? Please talk to me," I said and held his hand so he wouldn't try and run. He just let out a sigh and turned to me. I got comfy because I thought it was going to be a long story.

"Yugi, I'm not going to be here tomorrow." he said and I tilted my head to him. He saw my confusion and hesitated to speak for a minute. "I'm being sent away to meet with another family. I-I tried to stop them Yugi but I have no say in the question."

He then started to cry again, his crys interrupted by small sniffles. Yami...the only thing I could do was hug him tightly. "Yami, I'm so sorry to hear this. Let's spend the entire time you have left together!" I said and tried to be cheery for him. This is the only thing I can think of to do for him. "Hey wanna help me with what's inside this box?"

He agreed after crying his eyes out. I poured the pieces of the puzzle on the grass and explained what the entire thing was. We spent half of the day working on it until Seto came out and sat down with us. "So this is where you have been sire. Oh the little tyke has come back, have you told him the news?"he asked and Yami turned away from me.

"Hey my name is Yugi! Also don't pressure him, he has told me what happening," I said and got in front of him. Yami put a hand on my shoulder in a way to tell me to back off.

"Sire, it's time...we must be leaving because we don't have any time left. We barley got this spare time for you and if we wait any longer then your father will get an ear full." Seto said and held out a hand to Yami. He looked back at me and I found myself nodding at him. He turned his back to me and went to go with him. No...I don't want him to leave!

Yami turned around to see me grabbing his shirt. "Yugi.....Seto leave us for a minute, I'll be with you in a few minutes," Yami said Seto didn't go at first but left us. Yami came down to my level and sat down. "I need to get going now Yugi. I'm all out of time."

"I know," I said and held my head down. I can't look at him, if I do then I'll break down. I haven't broken down in front of anyway since school finished because of all them bullies. "I-it's for the b-best right?" Oh no, I can feel the tears coming down. Looking up to Yami, I couldn't hold them back.

Yami just laughed at me and hugged me. "This isn't forever Yugi I promise you that. I WILL be back in the future but until then may I ask, as a promise may I have the puzzle?" he asked. Oh he means as a keeps sake. I nodded and gave him the pieces. "Now we both have one don't we? Before we meet up again let's have them both completed."

I agreed with him but my smile couldn't last as we had to say goodbye. His mother allowed me to see them off seeing how his father was already away. "I'm going to miss you Yugi, when I have spare time I'll write to you and when I'm older I'll be back," he said and got into his car. He reached out his hand and I grabbed it, his smile warming me up. The car started to drive away and I went with it, keeping a hold on Yami.

I had a final look at Yami and could see him starting to cry. Yami... The car got too fast and it drove away, taking away Yami from me. "I'm very sorry Yugi, I tried to stop them myself but the other family have more power then us. Please come back every now and again I enjoy seeing you," she said and put a hand on my shoulder. I don't wanna come back if Yami isn't here, there's no point...

Yami! You better keep your promise to me and come back! Until then I'll keep working on the puzzle!

This is such a sad chapter, the boys saying goodbye. For what I have planned I hate thinking of it. Um SPOLIERS!!
