*Yugi's POV*
Night time came around and only then the nurses were able to leave him on his own. He was covered in sweat and was only letting out little pants of breath. Kaiba was in there while me and Joey had to watch him from the outside. "In my opinion you should be in there instead of Kaiba."

"Why is that? Because we were going out?" I asked and he nodded like mad. I just huffed at him and turned back to the window. Kaiba was coming out and when he opened the door Joey shot at him. "So how is he Kaiba?"

"He has calmed down now. The snow has let up so I'm headed out. Any of you wanna come?" he asked and Joey agreed straight away. They looked at me and I shook my head. "Alright. Tyke give me your phone for a minute." I did as he asked and he typed in a number. "I'll call if anything happens."

I nodded my head and they both left. I walked back into Yami's room and heard the monitor beeping along to his heart. I sat down in the chair again and saw his puzzle on the table. "Yami...It's me again. I...I hope you're alright. I know things aren't clever but I don't want something to happen." I said and grabbed his hand.

He feels so cold...he used to be so warm. I can't believe I'm saying this to myself but...I miss his touch, the warmth of his hugs. Even if that was him beating me, there's something deep in me that's wants to believe Joey.

He started to move and I got a fright but didn't let go of his hand. He was just shifting in his sleep. I let out a little sigh, but wished he would wake up. Looking back at his puzzle, I saw some papers hidden under it. I let go of his hand and picked them up and started to read them.

Yami's medical chart, 8 Years of age. He was out without a jacket in the rain and got a really bad cold. In bed for 3 days

9 years of age, someone drugged him outside the palace and he fell into a coma for a month.

9 years of age, The king died and he fell into depression. Half a year and he was almost back to normal. Still after effects.

10 years of age, he fell into a ditch and broke his leg. In crutches for 2 months.

11 years of age, a guard tried to kill him forcing him to over drink alcohol. In hospital care for 6 months...

That's all I could read before breaking down into tears. He...has been through so much pain and I never knew... he has been through more pain then I have ever. The chart goes all the way until a few days ago. 

17 years of age, he ate some poison berries, been coughing up blood and having trouble to breath. 

The amount of abuse he has had... no child should have to go through that. My cries were getting louder as I put the chart done and hugged his body. "I-I never knew!! I'm acting so childish yet you were braving it even as a kid!! Please I'm begging you to wake up and not be stuck in here for Ra knows how long!"

I got tiered from crying for 2 hours. After I washed my face at the sink I went back to the chair and sat down next to him grabbing his hand again. His phone started to ring and looking at it I saw it was Atem, why would they have each others number? A part of me wanted to let it ring...but if what Joey is saying is true I need to hear it from him.

I swiped the answer button and heard him panicking. "Yami, Yami are you alright!?! Did you eat the berries, tell me now!" he yelled and I had to move the phone away from my ear. "Yami why aren't you talking? Are you there?"

"Atem...it's Yugi," I whispered and he went silent."

"Yugi, is he alright? I didn't know he had ate them I swear," he said and I told him everything that had happened. "Well I think he should be fine now from what you have told me. I can hear something is wrong in your voice. Is something wrong?"

"A-Atem...this is really important for me to ask and I want you to swear to tell me the truth." I said and he swore he would. "Who was that who had me. Was it you or Yami? Please I need to know because I'm so confused."

"I should of guessed you'd come to me sooner or later. Before I answer I need to tell you why you were kidnapped." he said and I heard him moving through the phone. "You know Pegasus right? Well he didn't like the fact a normal person like you was getting so close to the Prince so he wanted to stop that, he wanted you to hate him."

"So where do you come into this?" I asked.

"Hold on I'm getting to that. He ordered some men to kidnap you at the game shop and once you were brought to an abandoned game shop that's where I come. It was me, Yugi, He ordered me to that and believe me when I say I hated every moment of it." he said and I could feel myself beginning to cry. "I'm so sorry Yugi. Please don't hate Yami...and forgive me."

I hung up the phone and threw it to the ground, making it fall out of it's case. I got up and hugged him again, crying harder then last time. "I-I hate myself...I did this to you. I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'M SORRY!!" I cried and just laid next to him. "I-I probably don't deserve to say this...but I love you...please forgive me..." I leaned up to him and quickly kissed him, one of my tears falling onto his check.

I got off the bed and back into the chair, re-grabbing his hand and letting my head hang. I felt the grip in my hand get tighter and I shot up to see... he was awake. "Y-Yami..."

He's awake!! And now Yugi knows the truth!!! Ahh all is happy with the boys right now, someone throw some confetti in the air!! So there was no need for Kaiba and Joey to go out, wonder what they'll say when they hear he's awake?? Picture is not mine by the way!!
