*Yami's POV*

This day...is what I have been waiting for. Atem will let Yugi go free. He has kept his word and told us everything that has happened. Pegasus went down there but didn't say much. He has left Yugi alone but he didn't do much, just walk around the cage and the usual to live. 

Seto has said that we'll go with a few men just to be sure that he didn't go back on his word and try to attack us or Yugi. Joey was well enough to walk around so he decided to come with us, but when we get there he would hide to stay out of sight.

We got to the cabin and Atem was outside doing stretches until he saw us and panicked. He waved his hand and shook his head, as if warning us. Everyone else behind me jumped into a bush but I stayed still not knowing. "oi idiot get in here!" Seto yelled and grabbed my jacket pulling me in and pinning me to the ground. 

"OW! Be careful will ya!?" I yelled and he slammed his hand on mouth and shut me up. He peaked out off the bush and moved from me. I got up from the ground and peaked out as well and saw Pegasus came out of the cabin.

"I'm glad you were the one that they sent Atem -boy. You have done well but I feel as it's time we move him," he said and Atem paled.

"Are you telling me that you're sending me back to that place!?! Like hell I am. And if Yugi went there he wouldn't ever be himself, they would break him!" Atem yelled but Pegasus didn't react, they just stared at each other. "I'll go to some other place just not that one."

"Fine fine. Whatever you want. I just need Yugi-boy gone because if he and Yami-boy got any closer then I would be afraid for the future," he said and seemed satisfied and walked off. Atem waited for a few minutes until he was completely gone until he came over to the bush. 

"Cutting it a bit close eh?" he asked and grabbed my hands forcing me out of the bush. Everyone else came out and he saw Joey. He didn't ask who he was, he just smiled at him. "You do remember I said I'll take him to the game shop right?"

"Well since your letting him go now, Pegasus might have his eye on the shop so we thought we'll keep him at the castle for a bit. When the rest of the days are up then we'll let him do whatever he wants then," Seto said and Atem just shrugged. 

He led us back down to the basement and in front of Yugi's cage. "He's unconscious at the moment. Sleeping pills work like magic, he'll wake up in a few hours," he said and unlocked the doors. He gave me a set of keys and motioned for me to go in.

I walked up to him and saw his sleeping face, his cuts and bruises have healed up a bit like Atem said. I unlocked the chains at his feet and hands and picked him up bridle style. "Seto come help me put him on my back," I said and he came in placing him on my back. We walked back out and gave the keys back to Atem. "What are you going to do if Pegasus comes back and sees him gone?"

"I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. For now I just want him safe," he said and ruffled his hair. "Yami, again I ask you for forgiveness. But for now I won't ask for your answer now but in the future I will.Please take care of Yugi." I nodded my head and we made our way back out to Joey.

"Yuge! You guys found him!!" He yelled and tried to run to us but stumbled. He fell into Seto and just started to cry. "Yami, Kaiba you found my bud. I'm so grateful that he is alright."

"I wouldn't say he is completely alright. We need to see what happens when he wakes up. Seto you help Joey," I said and we all headed home. When we were in the car I had to get Seto to put Yugi in once I sat in so his head could be on my lap.

"EEHHH WHAT ARE YOU DOING KAIBA!?!" Joey yelled as Seto did the same thing he did to me to Joey and put him on his lap. Joey was fighting it while Seto has an arm wrapped around his stomach not letting go.

"But your hurt too. You should rest on my lap, like a good little dog," Seto said and just smiled down at Joey. I laughed at the two of them and found myself looking down at Yugi as he was curled up to me.

He groaned and moved closer to my stomach and I could feel his breath. It tickled me a bit. "Yami, I hate to have to be a parrot but remember what Atem said. We have no idea what he'll be like so try and not get too excited," Seto said.

"I'm well aware of that, but that doesn't mean that I should give up hope on him." I said and that was it until we got back to the palace. Since I wanted to keep an eye on Yugi Joey went to Seto's room to sleep and I put Yugi in the extra bed in my room. 

I had a quick shower and got changed, re entering my room and saw that Yugi was still asleep. "You'll be fine now, I promise," I whispered and kissed him on his forehead. I shut off all the lights but kept my bedside light on and picked up a book. I didn't really want to sleep tonight so I just stayed up, kind of hoping that Yugi wold wake up through the night.

Yugi is home! But is he safe from leaving a few days early? Also, when he wakes up what will his reaction be to his new surroundings. We hit 2k views!! I wanna thank you guys so much and can only hope that my stories are enough to make you smile ^w^
