All right, my ducklings! Now, THIS story right here was originally a novel that began in January/February 2020 (had to take a pause when the corornavirus pandemic began turning lives upside down) and then finally finished with a so-so ending in May of 2020. And looking back on that story...I knew that I could do WAY better than that.

So when I remembered that NaNoWriMo 2023 was coming up, I knew that this was the perfect time to give this story a total rewrite with a more-developed storyline featuring Kyle's uncharmed life while adding some juicy details and scandalous drama into the mix. And while this story will contain superhero themes, I'll be adding pop-culture references (especially in regards to the "Drag Race" franchise). This story is a mix of "Clueless," Smallville," "Lois and Clark: the New Adventures of Superman," "Justice League," "Riverdale (without all the supernatural mess and focusing on the 50s centric theme)" and even "Beverly Hills 90210."

Now, I will warn you that this story has a bit of trigger warnings (bullying from siblings, verbal and emotional abuse, homophobic/transphobic/racism comments, mental health issues like depression and anxiety, and coarse language that's mainly from Kyle himself), so this story is going to be labeled Mature for the sake of reader safety and my reputation to rebrand myself in a positive light.

And there will be LGBTQ themes, so I WON'T allow any homophobic/transphobic comments in my story. If this describes you being such a bully and a bigot, you will be blocked if you try anything! It's all about positivity and equality for all.

Now, I will tell y'all that this story is going to be for my NaNoWriMo 2023 run as I have a month-long goal of reaching 50k words by the end of the month. I plan to write this story every single day (unless I need to take a break to let my mind rest), and you'll have the chance to make sure that you don't miss a thing!

I will also have a Spotify playlist for this story on hand so you can listen to the songs as you read the story. There's also going to be a cast list as well. And those will be posted before the story begins alongside a couple of promotional chapters to get you hyped up.

At the end of each chapter, I'll post a Question of the Chapter to boost morale and even have you guys talking about what happened with the characters and the storyline. I want to hear from all of you and get your opinion about what was written and what you would like to see happen next. Not only that, I'll be dropping a dedication to the reader/fellow Wattpad writer of my choosing.
