People say that I'm too much of a teenager who hasn't given people other than my usual "group of nobodies and riff-raff" a chance to be friends with me. It's not like I don't want to.

Okay, I REALLY don't want to. But try telling that to my narcisstic and domineering parents and my sisters who berate me for being the "loser" of the family because I prefer to be a loner and be seen with misfits. And then comes the moment that I'm uprooted from normalcy of Oakland to the social-climbing chaos of Berkeley and Sandifer Bay High where EVERYONE, especially one stud of a quarterback with a jealous ex-girlfriend, expects you to be a part of the majority (Popular kids) and away from the social rejects (my usual group of friends' social circles).

And then take the moment where I unknowingly discover a giant secret that involves the quarterback and his friends. Add that to my situation and take in a chaotic mess full of superheroes,outfits made of spandex and leather, pop-culture references, and teenage angst...and you'll soon ask the same thing that I'm asking: "How did I end up in a comical comic book?"

And there you have it, ladies and gents! Kyle York, the MMC of this story, is not you typical nerd who likes to cower away and hide from bullies. He's a sharp-tongued kid with street smarts and book-smarts and can easily put haters in their places. But he also has some hidden scars to bear no thanks to his domineering family and their fame-chasing ambitions. So I hope you guys stick around for what's ahead because Kyle York is going to spin one hell of a story that will blow your mind!
