Uh...

Tango, Third Person

Tango jolted awake from the red mist, his bones ached and he wasn't really having a good time. His eyes were still glazed over with the red mist. It's been some time since he felt actual, genuine grass in his hands. Tango dazed blankly at the grass beneath him before realizing what he needed to do.

"Oh no, please tell me I still have them-" the Halfsfolk muttered to himself, digging in his pockets, pouches and inventory, "I will literally torch something if I don't have the items."

He did have the burning quartz- thank god...
Just as Tango was about to head towards Doc's half-house, Impulse and Zedaph suddenly wrapped onto the spawn island via a... odd black goo? It would've scared the life out of Tango if it weren't for his concern and disgust at the sound the goo made.

"Psst, hey, Impulse? Zed?" Tango whispered to his friends, shaking their shoulders slightly.
Zedaph blinked awake, the moment he saw Tango, he quickly got onto his feet. "Tango! You're okay! How'd the trip to Fireswell go?"
Tango chuckled sheepishly, "It was... okay? I got the burning quartz, how about you? Did you and Impulse manage to get the End Staffs?
"Yup! But not at the same time," Zedaph chirped, pulling out a large, detailed pale rod.
Tango tilted his head at the shorter Hermit, "What do you mean 'not at the same time'? You got them, right? Or are those just extremely weird-looking End Rods?"
"Well, Impulse and I didn't... get them ourselves?" Zedaph said in a confused tone, "It's hard to explain. We got them from completing a really weird test from an equally odd Vyrmm."
"You encountered a Vyrmm too?" Tango asked, both shocked yet not.

Of course, if one of them had encountered a Vyrmm, high chances are that there will be more encounters. The sound of Impulse shuffling awake made the two Hermit's attention shift to him. The brown-haired redstoner blinked around in confusion.

Impulse's gaze fell on Tango and Zedaph, he sat up and rubbed his eyes, "Oh wow, hey! Um... that was a rough trip."
"Yeah, it was, but we got through it! We even got the stuff we needed!" Zedaph cheered.

As Tango helped Impulse up, he surveyed the sky, it was most certainly not the same time as he and his friends left to their separate dimensions.

He turned to Zedaph, "Hey, do you know what time and date it is?"
The blonde shrugged, "You're asking the wrong person. I don't carry clocks around me all the time, Bdubs does."
"Alright, fine," Tango said jokingly, "Well, we might want to get going to Doc's. You can move, right Imuplse?"
"Yup!" He stretched a little, cracking a bit of his bones, "Lets get over to Doc's place!"

Stress, Third Person

There's been a lot of "haha funny"s and memes regarding her nickname "Stress", but rarely as she ever thought that it was the most ironic thing. But here she is, staring very intently as her cyborg friend carefully placed the charm into its very fragile glass case. She was stressing out, very stressed. Because the way Doc said it implied that the charm was very easy to break, and the way everyone stood around him, watching him, made Stress stress out.
The whole room held their breath as Doc placed in place, nudging it slightly to secure its placement. Only once Doc put the tweezers away and leaned back in his chair did the room release the breath they held.

"Oh god, that was just about the most stressful thing I've experienced this season." Cleo breathed, staring at the ceiling with relief.
"Good greif, that was scary," Stress sighed, "Glad that's over with."
"Mhm!" Scar chimed, "Let's just hope none of us jinx it-"

Scar jinxed it.
Well, Stress did as well. The sound of three loud fireworks scared the ever living daylights out of everyone in the room, Doc even went as far as to shielding the beacon with his body in fear something may blow it up- or something along the lines of that.
Jevin slipped over to the door and looked outside, Stress could see him literally melt with relief, "It's just Tango, Zed and Impulse! They're here!"
The whole room let out a breath none of them knew they were holding. As the trio walked in, they glanced at everyone in the room. Stress felt too tense to spur out a chuckle nor a laugh.

"So, uh... anyone want to elaborate why we're all being tense here?" Tango laughed nervously, scanning the room.
Stress breathed out, again, "Oh, don't worry, darling... it's just that Doc had just finished the beacon. We were just tense from the placement of the Code Heart Charm."
"That... explains a lot," Imuplse said, unloading his items onto the floor.

Stress gazed at the pale rods. They were oddly detailed, however, that was expected from a "staff" huh? Depictions of Ender Dragons, Endermen and even Shulkers were carefully engraved into each staff, most of which were telling stories. The magical gardener couldn't help but be impressed at the craftsmanship of the End Staffs. Joe, too, seemed to be impressed as well.
Tango and Zedaph also poured their items onto the floor, Zedaph's were the same End Staffs Impulse carried, which Stress admired a little longer before looking at the burning quartz Tango had brought in. Scar and Joe were already picking them up and studying it.

"This is amazing!" Scar said, "I never thought crystals would actually give off light and heat. I wonder if they can actually catch paper on fire."
Tango laughed, "There is a reason why they're called 'burning quartz', Scar."
"Please don't burn down my house," Doc said sheepishly, standing up from his chair. He strode towards the pile of items and too, picked up a burning quartz. "We'll need to craft all these quartz into blocks. Tango, you are positive you have enough for forty-six blocks?"
Tango nodded, "Positive. To be honest, I think we have more than enough."
Doc nodded, he pointed at Stress, Scar and Joe, "Can you three help assemble the quartz blocks? Tango, Imuplse and Zed may need to take a break after their trip. As for the staffs, can Cleo and Jevin help me collect them and put them in place?"

Everyone nodded and agreed. Stress hopped off Doc's red couch and headed over to the crafting table, Joe followed in sync. Scar ran around, collecting quartz and giving them to Joe to craft while Stress summoned a few vines to help deliver her quartz to craft. Talk about efficiency! Every once in a while, Jevin would come over to grab the quartz block and whisk them away to the construction site. Eventually, Tango, Impulse and Zed got up and did the block-delivering.
Finally, all the quartz were converted into blocks, and the main frame of the time-traveling machine has been completed. All that had to be done was to insert the beacon as well as the clock and the bindings- which had not arrived yet, sadly.

"I don't think I like carrying something that could potentially break and set us back a few hundred days." Stress said nervously, wiping her hands on her white dress shirt.
"Don't worry, Stress!" Scar said, holding his wand up in the air, "If it were to skip between your phalanges, I shall cast a levitation spell to save the beacon from its downfall!"
Jevin put a hand on Stress's shoulder, "It'll be okay. What Scar is trying to say is, 'we'll catch it, don't worry'."
Scar gasped dramatically, "T-that was exactly what I said! I didn't 'try'!"

Stress laughed lightheartedly and reached for the beacon, it took all her will to force her hands to stop trembling. The draid picked up the beacon and took a step outside of the house, then took another step towards the machine, and then another. Soon enough, she was walking, however slow, but walking. Stress liked to take it slow and steady, but the faster they did this, the quicker they could get this over with and reunite with their dearest Grain.
Stress took a large step, she hasn't thought about the name 'Grain' in quite some time. Yes, the fellow Hermit has been on everyone's mind and concerns for a long time now, but Stress didn't think of Grian as 'Grian', but a little brother that they'd ought to get back or something may break. Stress took another, larger step. Once they get Grian back, not only will they cry in relief and happiness, but boy will they scold him. The thought made Stress smile lightly, she took a big step. They will make sure that he'll learn from this experience, both to not mess with time, but to hammer in the idea that they adore him as a family.

Stress inserted the beacon.

The machine came to life. The quartz glowed ever so slightly brighter.

Stress breathed out, "It's activated now, right, Doc?"
"Yes, it is," Doc said, observing the time machine carefully.
"Then... that means..." Scar trails off.

Doc nodded, "We only need to wait for X's crew."

=============

Uh... hey, hi. I apologize for the large gap between Dream Talk and this chapter. It's taken me so long to write this that it's already season 9! To be honest, I am actually having a really hard time writing these chapters XD
Don't worry, I will still finish this. I will try my best to. It may take me three-four years to finish it, but it'll be worth it. Even if I'm unable to actually finish the whole fleshed-out chapters, I may publish the outline/main premise of each chapter lol
Anyways, thanks for reading. I MIGHT edit the whole book after I finish writing this. So sorry if there's a lot of confusion in the paragraphs.
