.Notebook. (Story info)

Introduction: (Author's note)
So... I decided to change this up a little. Not only because there's a lot of spelling errors and stuff, but because it's plot related. :)
So... I hope you enjoy the revamped version of "Updates/Explaining"
This version is from the perspective of HermitCraft's Notebook. Each Entry is written by different Hermits. Feel free to guess who wrote which :)

Entry 1:
Firesfolk

(Note from the author/origin of this entry:)
I just recently found out that Tango (IRL) doesn't want his minesona to be viewed as a demon, so I just changed it to a new species of "Players" call Firesfolk.

- Firesfolk seem to be humans that live in the nether. Firesfolk are slightly fire resistant but not fully. SOME of them have bird wings while others have tails or claws.

- Demons are a kind of Firesfolk, but Firesfolk aren't a type of demon. It's kinda like the "square is a rectangle but a rectangle ain't a square" kind of thing.

~ Demons can either be a Firesfolk that signed up to become a demon or a manipulative mutant.

^ A mutant is basically a Piglin+Firesfolk thing. These Demon-mutants are given burning chains and stuff like that. Personally, I don't like them. They are a bit mean.

^ For those Firesfolk that sign up willingly are given dragon-like wings and horns, they are given full fire resistant abilities and are also given Fire Staffs, Fire staffs are similar to Tridents but are fire based. So, they can let the wielder "Riptide" through the air if they are in lava or fire. Certain Fire staffs have loyalty and much more stuff that I don't feel like listing.

- According to my history teachers, Firesfolks used to live on the surface of the Nether with the piglins. There were crimson forests and warped forests, etc. But then Notch and his buddies made a bargain with the Firesfolk, asking them to move off of the land and into the lava because the players needed to venture around the nether, but if the players fell into the lava, their items would become the Firesfolk's property.

~ The Firesfolk agreed and moved off of the nether lands, taking the other biomes and some of the piglins with them. The rest of the piglin in the nether's surface couldn't survive and turned into zombie piglin after some stuff that I forgot.

Entry 2:
Herobrine

Herobrine is Notch's half brother, he does snap and do the "Evil stuff" most of the myth says he does. But once he recovers, he helps Notch and the others recover things he's wrecked. Like destroyed villages, drunt down forests, etc. Herobrine is usually "locked away" by Notch just encase of any havoc happens, but he does let Herobrine roam around to his pleasing to prevent destruction.

Herobrine is more shy than evil and has anxiety and anger issues from what I've seen, he did say that he goes to this special therapy weekly. So that's interesting.

Entry 3:
Fireswell.

(Author's Note/Origin of Entry:)
Fireswell has a lot of themes that are heavily inspired by Team Cherry's "Hollow Knight". So if you find this interesting, feel free to check the game out.

Chapter 1:
Fireswellian Tribes:

- There are four main tribes of Fireswell: Aesidinkae, Semalfly, Luoshicire and Hasaretnuh. (They're weird names, I know, but I didn't come up with them. Okay?)

~ Aesidinkae ("Ay-sid-ink-ay") Tribe is where I am from. We live up in the Burning Beaches and we are typically kind. (as the name's meaning suggests) This tribe has a lot of Halfsfolk, like me, and they are protective of every single member of the Tribe.

~ The Semalfly ("s-em-all-fly") Tribe has a lot of winged Firesfolk and they are cheerful yet chaotic, plus they have high self-esteem. They live in the Flaming Hills, not far from the Ask Peaks. Now that I'm describing them, I just realized how similar this tribe is to Grian.

~ The Luoshicire ("Lu-shi-cire") Tribe is probably one of the most respected tribes of Fireswell. Most of them met the Lords of Fireswell face-to-face and some of them are part of the Fireswell Council! They live near the Soul Towers and they are really good at making stocks. They are usually calm, but, in my opinion, can sometimes be idiots.

~ Last but not least, the Hasaretnuh ("Has-art-nah") Tribe. They are incredibly crafty but they can be angered easily, so a lot of the tribes go with what they say. This tribe consists of a lot of clawed and tailed Firesfolk. And as the name meaning suggests, they are very skilled at fighting/hunting. Hasaretnuh is probably one of the stronger tribes and is trageted most when trading, since they have a skill for hunting and have a bunch of food/skins.

Chapter 2:
Deepflames:

- Deepflames is similar to Soul Sand Valleys with all it's blue fire and soul sand/soil. Bones are littered everywhere, and I mean everywhere! There are bones on the floor, in the walls and in the ceilings of tunnels.

~ I'm too scared about sharing what lives in that hell-hole, but I'll say that the creatures are similar to the Wither Skeletons, but a lot worse. They are both creepy, skittery AND dangerous.

- Since so little is known about this area, a lot of travelers and adventurers wandered in but never came out. According to textbooks, this worried the Village Above Deepflames, so they decided to send three skilled fighters to protect the gate.

~ These three became known as the Deepflames Guardians. They take their job seriously, killing anything that came out of Deepflames that doesn't look Firesfolk-like. They prevent others from entering, even if it means using force.

(Extra Author's Note:)
I know the drawing's old, but hopefully it'll give you an idea as to how the three look like.

Entry 4:
Magic Crystals

(Author's Note/Origin of entry:)
This was supposed to be a throw back to the corrupted Kitsune thing, but scrapped that since a-few-months-back-ago-me thought this was more important.

As much as the magic crystals are powerful, it still have any limitations. In order for the Leeching Crystals to leech power it must: 1) find an item that can do said thing you want it to do, and 2) Stay with it for a long time. Iskall's idea of using the crystals was a really good idea! But of course Doc had to debunk the idea after I talked to him. He pointed out that the only few things that have or produce time-traveling magic, are the Watchers/Dreamers, a Time Traveler, and a time machine/device.

Doc explained that, 1, even if you met/seen the Watchers/Dreamers, it'd still be pretty impossible. The only way to get access to the Dreamers is through dreams, which was pretty obvious. He also said that even if you had the crystals, you still won't be able to get the time traveling magic. Which is sad. But I get it, even if you went to bed with the amazing crystal of power clutched in your hands, it wouldn't really work. Since dreams don't really connect to the real world. Even as a wizard of magic, I could never teather the Dream Realm and Reality together.

Doc also said that Watchers wouldn't work because they are hard to persuade and they live in a world that could practically kill any mortal. I also asked about Grian but he said it wouldn't work because he's gone. Like- I knew that! I just forgot! But anyways, Iskall asked if I could be a source, but sadly, even the greatest wizards cannot time travel by heart. Doc said that time traveling was a genetic kind of thing, given to by Tyimme or the Watchers/Dreamers. Which explains a lot.

Entry 5:
Currupted Kitsune:

(Note from the author/origin of this entry:)
It's about time I tell you it's origin. I left this thing unchecked for nearly a year now. Sorry about that. The art is slightly old, I hope you can forgive me on that.

It is no secret that the Corrupted Kitsune I fought used to be a regular Kitsune. It seems that the Kitsune died before becoming corrupted. The plack it sat on suggests that. But if it died, it had to have came back to life to attack us. Maybe this Kitsune was supposed to be a guardian of sorts? Or was it put into the corroding world forcfully? One way or the other, it's sanity and form degraded over time. There is no telling of how old this thing is- but it's much older than us I'd assume.

I remember seeing glactic writting on the plack, but I forgot what it said. Something that starts with a "D" and ends with an "I". That is all I remember. Despite not remembering much, I remembered seeing a spirit of a fox bowing to us before we recived the Fox Spirit charm. Kitsunes are typically Japanese creatures. And bowing is a sign of respect if I remember correctly. So putting two and two together, there was a high chance that the fox spirit was thanking us? If the fox spirit was thanking us, Stress, Scar and I must've "saved" it from the corruption I'd assume?

As for the Fox Spirit charm morphing into the Code Heart charm, I am still unsure as to why that happened. I believe it was because taking the Fox Spirit charm out of the Corruption Realm caused it to malfuction and morph into something more sinister? Not sure. Nonetheless, this mystery Kitsune is a lot to unpack. Even I'm not sure of it's origins. Are there more of these Corrupted Souls? Why were they put in the Realm? What did they do? These questions I'll probably leave for Xisuma and Cub to answer.
