Go Away
(Okay! I'm putting this one out early also, but that's Okay. Well, this is a bit more explaining then "Too Much Fright For Ten Nights" (another book I'm writing right now) so... Hope you enjoy it!)

I looked at Nico di Angelo's photo. Supposedly, he was responsible for the murder of Percy Jackson, a friend of mine. Percy and I were close, meeting at a camp. We both wanted to be cops and we became cops, being put in the same squad.
Anyway, back to Nico di Angelo. His smile was very welcoming and friendly. He looked like a nice, normal person, not a murderer. His black hair, chocolate brown eyes (at first I thought they were black, but once I looked closer I found out the were chocolate brown), friendly (playful a bit?) smile, there was innocence written all over his face, not guilt.
But, in my experience, in my life, anyone can be anything: look the nicest, me the meanest. That's how life works: no one can change their appearance to fit their actions. It just couldn't happen.
I sighed. Percy was gone and it was this boys fault. I cannot stand here and let him murder my friends, my family. Well, it felt like they were my family, along with my father, Apollo, and sister, Sammy.
Nico me get have been nine, but, wait. I looked at the year if the picture, he should be around my age now! Wow, talk about not updating.
"Hey, Levesque?" I called to Hazel. She came and the room, smiling. Her hair was a bit messy from all the work she's done, but she didn't seem to mind.
"Yes, Solace, what do you need?" She asked. Hazel and I were in different squads, but we were friends, and we both were worked no on this case.
"Do we have any photos of him, from this year?" I asked. Hazel frowned and shook her head, no. "Is this the last photo of him?" Hazel looked down, then back up to me, she sook her head, no, again and went out to fetch it.
I waited for her. When she came back in she handed me a photo. "This is Mr. di Angelo?" I asked. He looked so . . . So evil. That was the only way I could describe him. He had bags under his eyes and had a sleepy scowl on his face. His hair was long and messy and his olive skin has paled a lot more. His eyes rung with hatred.
Hazel nodded. "It was from a couple years ago, but yes. This is him," she clarified. She gave me Nico's file. "Here's all the information we have on him. You should take a look."
I looked through the file in shock. There was basically nothing. Only a couple photos. Last time spotted: with Percy, at Percy's house, during the murder. His age: nineteen as I was only twenty. We looked so different, he looked younger and he was so small. Height: 5'5. He was Italian, that must be why he was so small. I looked through the file, again and again.
"There's nothing!" I yelled, throwing the file down. All the papers scattered on the floor. Hazel picked one up. She smiled. Then, showed me. It showed Nico's address. I smiled. It was time to meet a murderer. . .
~~~
I stood at a door of a hotel, awkwardly. Was I supposed to just burst the door open, knock on it, and call out that I'm a cop and tell him to let me in? Argh, so confusing. Hazel wasn't with me because she said she couldn't come, I didn't really mind that.
I stood at the door for probably an hour, until Nico (?) opened it. "Go away," he said plainly. I quickly got out my badge and showed him. He scowled at me and said, "I'm going to get coffee."
"T-Then I'll come with you," I stammered. Why did I stammer!? Stupid me . . . Nico raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything and closed the door.
I knocked on the door. He opened it again. "Why are you still here?" He asked. I pointed to my badge again. He rolled his eyes. He closed the door again.
After a couple minutes, he came out and closed the door. He had on a black skull shirt and black skinny jeans that were ripped. He stared at my leather jacket, as if checking it out on me. I looked around awkwardly.
I cleared my throat and he looked away then started to walked. I followed him. He stopped, agitated, and looked at me. "Oh, so I have a body guard now?" He asks.
"No," I said, examining him like a specimen. Which probably freaked him out. "I'm on the case of Percy Jackson and you are suspected for his murder. I need to ask you some questions."
Nico rolled his eyes. "Look, Solace." He must of got my name off my badge. "I didn't kill him. I was just there when it happened."
