(Lucy's POV)

Rouge and I walked into the guild, hand in hand, when Sting called us over to where he and Levy were sitting. So much for a nice, quiet, day.

The two of us sat down across from the grinning couple. "Mornin' Lucy and Rogue!" Levy seemed to be overly enthusiastic.

Sting pushed a paper towards us and while we skimmed it, Sting hurridly explained what the mission was about. "It's a quest in Zian (Zee-un//Made up). The mayor wants us to get rid of this group of magic users. They know everyone's magics except this girl named Vee. Apparently, they've only heard of her once because... she normally kills whoever she encounters."

Levy jumped in, explaining why we were going. "They requested 'any slayers that know light or dark magics'. All four," she held up four fingers, wiggling them around, "of us fit that description. Also, Lucy, the pay is 15 million jewels." My eyes lit up. I still get excited about the pay from jobs, even though I don't have to pay my rent anymore.

And so, the journey began.
