There was a blast of light in the distance that came towards me, almost if it was to surround me all at once. Then there was darkness, an empty void in which I was enclosed in something I found foreign in my system. Even with this sensation I didn't resist it, but rather I gladly invited the void in. Something was wrong and I knew it but I also was comforted by this, something that made it difficult to say no to.

I woke up laying down in the grass of a meadow with flowers of different varieties. Some were blue, others yellow, white, but among the most beautiful were the flowers that had a little violet color with ends of the petals being white. I couldn't help falling in love with them as they displayed a dance every time the cool breeze passed by. The willow tree that I was under seemed to also dance with the flowers as their leafs moved gracefully, combined with the blue sky and the puffy white clouds. I turn me head to see a purple hair girl sleeping soundly next to me under the summer breeze. I stand up to observe the surrounding area which was covered in a coat of light green grass with a few trees that are dispersed around the meadow. There was a town down hill from where we were at and the blue ocean followed covering anything forward. I looked back to the girl that was asleep, she was awake now starring at me with her beautiful mauve and lavender eyes. They remind me of the flowers and for some reason I thought I saw red in them. Roses. 

"Good afternoon Yuri, did you have a lovely nap?" I said kneeling down and giving her my hand.

"It was lovely, especially since you are here with me" She said holding my hand now.

I gently helped her get up from the ground. We brush ourselves lightly to get rid of any pieces of debris we had. I offered my hand towards her's and she gave me a beautiful smile, she accepted me finally I found my happiness. 

"Should we head back home" I said as we started walking away from the shade of the willow.

"That would be nice, b-but I had something else in mind" She had a timid expression.

"It's fine I'll go anywhere with you" I  said facing her with a smile and a light shade of pink appeared in my cheeks.

"Thank you Adam I won't forget this" She hugged me with her full force. I didn't mind I would do almost about anything to her.

"So where do we go now"

"The shopping area of coarse silly" She gave me a wink then we ran of to the town.

The town was filled with people walking by. There were people in shops examining the manufactured goods they offered for retail. Some were enjoying there time by chatting with other while drinking coffee or tea accompanied with a pastry from the cafe they were at. Yuri and I made our way to the clothing shops that were the furthest away from us, but were the closes to the shore. When we entered we had been greeted by a shop employ that was kind and showed us the way to the women's section of the store, Yuri being excited all the way showing her smile. She tried on numerous pieces of clothing ranging from t-shirts, sweaters, pants, even a few dresses. 

"Do you think this looks good on me" She would say to me with every piece of clothing and my response was different, but had the same meaning although some were more flirtations. 

"You look lovely in anything you wear" It was cute how she would blush then turn around and hide behind the hangers of the clothing. The timidness she always has is there.

In the end she bought a few pieces of clothing that she liked the most, I don't think she told me about them in the shop. I bought a pair of gloves they were of a thin fabric but highly durable somethings are better hidden. We exited the store with a couple of bags in total from our journey to find the clothing we like. There were more clouds than before so it blocked the sun. 

"I think we should go home now" Yuri said trying to hide her face. 

"Don't you want to get lunch here" 

"No, I-I mean I prefer to go home rather than in public but if you want..."

"No it'd be fine at home I like when it is quiet" I told her reaching for her hand, she noticed and extends her hand toward mines. I would be a happy moment for me, but I hear a little buzzing then it wasn't there anymore. 

We arrived home at 5:00 pm, there isn't much time left for the day I thought as I unlocked the polished wooden door and let Yuri enter first. I closed the door behind us and settled the bags in the living room. Yuri took her her bags and left to our room closing the door behind her, she told me not to go inside so I went to the kitchen and got the ingredients ready for our lunch. I was preparing a light soup and the typical rice for our main dishes and for desert cake, chocolate cake. Mid way into the making of the meal Yuri came out of our room and began to move swiftly me being envious of her skills.  We finished everything in about one hour later, I looked outside the window of the kitchen the clouds had made a thick layer over the sunny sky there was before. Something didn't feel right I heard the buzzing again but this time it was more noticeable along with a more clear tune. Piano notes.

From the time I realized I was spacing out Yuri was busy setting up the table by herself moving with grace almost as if she was attached to strings and moved with every gentle pull. I rush to help her she smiles to me, no words were needed I knew she thanked me. We finished setting up the table and place all the food on it. There was a flash of light then all of a sudden there was a loud roar in the sky, it was freighting but also accelerating a new feeling. Yuri also seemed to enjoy the weather especially after it started raining hard.

"It's beautiful right" Yuri said looking outside the window.

"It sure is perfect for today don't you agree" I said hugging her from behind.

"It definitely is" She said in a low soft almost seductive voice while tilting her head to the side.

After a few minutes of listening to the rain hit the ground we made our way to the table and sat down. We began to eat along with a casual conversation starting up. It was going well and increasingly late until we saw another flash followed with by another roar from the lighting. The lights went out and didn't return, we had a few candles in a kitchen cabinet so we had to light up a few. We finished our lunch and desert and Yuri went to the kitchen to place the dirty dishes in the sink and she came back with a bottle of expensive wine and two glasses. 

"What are you planning to do" I told Yuri with a smirk.

"You will find out later Adam" She said along with a wink.

A couple of glasses later we both feel the affect of the alcoholic drink. She goes to our room and makes a gesture for me to follow her. I  stand up  but suddenly there was the same buzz from before only become louder and much more clear than the other times. And then I see a flash of white and then darkness....... 

 I was awaken from the soft sound of piano notes. I got up again with my eyes having difficulty trying to locate the source of the sound in the darkness. It was obvious were it was coming from, as there was a dim light in the same drawer with the picture frames. I stood up and turned of the music that was cheerful.

"What time is it." I said looking again at the phone.

"Damn it's 10 I guess I can go for a drink anyways."

I put the phone on my pocket, grabbed my wallet, the car keys, and a black trench coat with the cuffs and shoulders having red stripes. I opened the door and saw how the night sky was covered by a thick blanket of clouds which made everything darker. I looked back at the photos one last time then I closed the door behind me, I walked towards the dark blue Mustang in the street. I opened the door and turned on the engine, but as the engine finished making it's drumming there were drops of water falling from the sky. A smile formed on my face and I drove off to my destination.
