We're The Crew, and we are trying to get people to join us in our fight for non-benders. "Our boat will soon be departing for Republic City, and the second we saw you we knew you would be the right one for the job." I stared into the mans ocean blue eyes. He was definitely in his 60s at least. I couldn't understand why somebody that old would be leading a rebellion.

"Forgive me for not introducing myself! He apologized, I'm-"

Azaria's POV

"I'm Takaro." He told me.

"I don't know...." I replied, looking at the solid ground.

"Please join!" Called a lady from the crowd.

"Yes! We would be honored to have you walk among us!" Yelled another man from the crowd.

Why did they want me? Why was I so special?

"We me?" I asked with one eyebrow up.

"I'd rather not talk about it out in the open like this. The man lowered his voice. Shall we talk in private?"

"Sure..." I walked into the army of people and blended right in. I was standing next to a girl about my age or a little older that had gray eyes like Rico, dark-tan skin, and dark frosted brown hair. Her shirt was dark brown, thick and long sleeved, blue jeans, and navy blue combat boots.

"Hello..." I greeted her.

"Hey! You know, I'm a big fan!" I was guessing she was the girl that yelled, "Please Join!" .

"I'm the one who yelled, Please join, a minute ago." She said as if she could read my mind.

"I'm Adele." She smiled.

"Azaria."

We walked into a medium sized building where there was a lobby, a balcony, and even a few bedrooms.

The walls were painted beige and the floor was carpet. The carpet was black.

"This is where you all stay? How do all of you sleep in 3 bedrooms?" I asked The Crew, confused.

"We make room" Said a man whose head was peaking out of one of the bedroom doors. Although I was still confused, I didn't ask anymore questions about that.

"Everybody! We have new uniforms to discuss." Takaro yelled. Everybody formed a circle around Takaro. I assumed he was the leader. But my assumption was overthrown when a woman that looked really muscular came into the middle of the circle through an opening. All the side chattering stopped.

"Follow me." The woman gestured for the people to follow her. Before disappearing inside of the bedroom, the woman turned her head.

"Is this a new recruit?" She questioned.

"Yes, Tanara, she's the avatar." Takaro told the woman. Tanara turned her head so she could look at me.

"What a fine avatar! Welcome to The Crew." She put out her hand as for me to shake it. I took it.

"Why don't you join us, uh what is you name?" She asked.

"Azaria." I replied confidently.

"Okay, Azaria, would you like to join us?"

"Yes. I would be honored." I nodded my respect. She motioned for me to join the crowd around her. When I did, Adele smiled at me.

"What?" I asked, grinning.

"Oh nothing..." She replied, turning her head, still smiling.

When we got in the bedroom, there were about fifteen identical uniforms laying on the bed. They looked like navy blue snake-skinned jumpsuits. Sitting on the floor were black combat boots. Laying beside the suits, were black wrist guards.

"These, are our new uniforms." Tanara smiled at everyone. I could see the anxiousness in everyone's eyes.

As soon as the woman gave us the cue, we ran into the bedroom and grabbed the suits. Some people went into the closet to try theirs on, others, such as me, went into the bathroom. Once everybody had their new uniforms on, we made another large circle around Tanara.

"These suits are being used so we can identify who is on our team and who is not. You may not share these suits with anyone. Not even family. Is that clear?" Tanara raised one eyebrow. Everyone nodded.

"We finally have enough people to carry out our first mission. That mission, is to go after the Ando tribe. You all know these people. They're wicked, and will stop at nothing to defeat us. I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but if someone falls, trips, gets hurt too badly, we will not go after them. Is that clear?" She explained. Everybody nodded their heads again. Why wouldn't you come back for a fellow teammate? I didn't understand why and I was too nervous to ask.

I didn't know if I wanted to be apart of this anymore.... Or did I?
