Good night. I told everybody before going to sleep.

Rico's POV

"Earn forgiveness from my own father?!" I screamed angrily. This is nonsense!

"No, it's not. You must earn most things in life, and if you're my son, you have to earn forgiveness for such a crime you've committed to this family." My dad explained.

"I said sorry! Isn't that enough?!"

"No, I told you, you have to earn it." He repeated. I flipped the coffee table over with my foot and stomped to my room.

A few minutes after I was in my room, I heard a soft knock on my door.

"Who is it?" I asked, I could still hear the bitterness in my voice.

"Avery." My sister's steady voice filled my room as she pushed my door open. She silently closed it behind her and sat beside me on my bed.

"I don't think it's fair. You know, the whole, you have to earn forgiveness thing. I don't think anybody should have to earn forgiveness. But you know how dad is." She said the last sentence like she was annoyed.

"Yeah, I know how dad is." I had to smile.

Unknown POV

The morning was just beginning to come and I decided I'd go and clean myself up before going out to look for my Crew. So I went back into the house, walked to the bathroom, washed up, and went to my bedroom. I was surprised to find it untouched, unlike the rest of the house. I quickly slipped into a backup jumpsuit and headed out the door.

Azaria's POV

When I awoke, everyone was sitting up and looking up at the clouds. It was a beautiful morning filled with pleasant sounds and pleasant sights. The sky was overcast and clouds were everywhere. I tried to make out shapes, but I didn't make out any. Adele, however, was getting a kick out of it.

"Look!" She pointed. That one looks like a puppy! Raven rolled her eyes and so did I. We both had to muster a smile though. Takaro's face looked as if it was in a far-off place I'd never heard of. I decided to ask what he was thinking.

"Takaro, is it something you want to talk about?" I asked him, choosing my words carefully. Takaro shook his head, obviously to shake off the daze he was just in, and answered me.

"No, no, I'm fine." He said it too fast for me to believe it.

"What are you afraid of?" I noticed that my were eyebrows beginning to arch.

"I didn't say I was afraid of anything!" He was still talking quickly. I decided to change the subject.

"We need to get going if we're going to get to our destination before night falls today. I said, determined. I stood up and looked around to take in my surroundings. Rishelle, in which direction does your brother and his friends live?" I questioned.

"That way. She pointed to the right of me and I turned my body so it would face that direction. It's at least a two day walk, at the most." My eyes widened and I turned back to Rishelle.

"What?! Why didn't you tell us that before?" I snapped. She just turned her back to me.

"Sefur is still my brother, and I guess I was trying to prolong his life by telling you guys we'd get there in a day's time. Just so he would have a few more days to live." She turned back to look at me. Her eyes looked apologetic. I was still angry though. And I could feel the anger building up inside me.

"But you said yourself that he had to be stopped! How could you do this to us?!" I was walking towards her now.

"I-I don't know. I-I guess I s-still l-l-love him." She stammered. I couldn't argue with her loving her brother, but she didn't have to lie.

"I'm sorry Rishelle, but you won't be accompanying us on our journey." I narrowed my eyes at her and our eyes locked.

"But you need me to guide you to their hideout!" She said defensively.

"It's okay, we'll find them." I turned back around and motioned for everyone to follow me.

Ooh! Azaria ditched Rishelle! Okay, it's not that serious, but yes, she ditched her. Not as a friend, just as a team member on this mission of theirs. I feel sorry for her, but that's how it has to be. -Dreamy Sigh- Don't you just love Azaria's determination and confidence?! I know I do! But I hope you liked this chapter, and I can't believe I'm actually at chapter 40! I'm trying to keep myself from screaming and jumping up and down because I' m at chapter 40 already, but I don't think I can hold myself back much longer.
