Julius
"Hey man, you feeling ok?" Phillip knelt down next to Julius's hospital bed.
"Yeah, this medicine sucks." Julius croaked wearily. Phillip was the only person he would talk to. Not joking, the only person.
Everyone else thought Julius was a mute. And Julius couldn't blame them.
Ever since he was a child and had gotten lost in a blizzard for two miserable, freezing days, Julius had been sick. Well, more like weak. He couldn't stop sneezing, coughing, always passing out if he stood for to long, and catching what ever sickness was going around. And then there was the fact that he was shy.
As Phillip would call it, he was mega shy. Even though he was one of the smartest kids in class, he never raised his hand.
It was like God was trying to be ironic when he made Julius. His thraft was the ability to know what made people happy, yet everyone saw him as a sad, glum kid. Probably a result of him not speaking to anyone.
Today was initiation, and all new Wolen kids would soon be gathered in the grand hall of the Wolen headquarters. Julius wouldn't be able to make it as he was in the middle of a rather harsh cold, but Phillip would tell him how initiation went. Phillip had to be there since he was their grades' president.
"Ok man, I have to go. Hang in there." Phillip smiled at Julius and walked out of his room.
"Bye."
