They whisper when I'm alone. They call my name and tease me from the dark. They mimic my parents, my friends, my family. And they dance around in the halls of my house, singing sodden songs.

Sometimes they are easy to ignore. Sometimes they are so indistinguishable I answer them in thought that they are my family calling for me. 

Recently they have become more easy to distinguish. My families voices are louder. The voices are quieter.
