Chapter 31: Flipping a Coin

"No," Kurotsuchi said, basically hiding behind Kioku as the said teen had a big smile on his face, seeing three very familiar people coming up towards them as they stood inside the Cloud Village. "He's going to talk, isn't he? If he talks, I'm going to end up dying!" Kioku grinned at her.

"What? Bee isn't that bad. You just have to talk to him the same way he talks to us." Kurotsuchi glared at him, increasing her grip on his shoulder. "I will not rap like an idiot."

"Woah kid, best back off, the way you talking makes me thinking you're aloft." A voice spoke up from behind them, causing Kurotsuchi to cringe as she heard the older man's horrible rhyme.

"Bee shut the hell up and leave the poor girl alone," Yugito spoke up, crossing her arms under her sizeable bust, making Kioku look at the person beside her, the Raikage. He bowed his head, ignoring the yelling of Kurotsuchi was giving Bee, who was still trying to rap.

"It's good to see you again, Raikage-sama." Ay nodded.

"Likewise, Kioku. Come, I'll personally escort you to my office." Kurotsuchi and Bee kept bickering back and forth while Ay led them to his office, leaving Yugito and Kioku to speak.

"It's been awhile, huh Kioku-kun?" Kioku tried his best to hold in his long, exasperated sigh. "How about after we're done with this meeting that we go back to my place?"

"I'm flattered by the offer, Yugito." He answered honestly, instantly kicking himself in the ass for denying her very obvious request. "But I'm afraid that I'll decline. I need to do something while I'm here." He felt a single finger touch his neck softly, sending chills down his spine, but in a good way.

"But I want you," She purred into his ear. "Ever since that one time, you're the only one who can satisfy me. Indulge my selfish request, indulge. . ." She trailed off as she nibbled on his ear a little. "Me."

Maybe he was stupid for denying an incredibly attractive woman. Maybe he could just. . .

No, no no no, no. He wouldn't succumb to her advances. What they did was a one-time thing, and happened over two years ago.  Did he regret it? Hell no. Why wouldn't he do it again? Because he wanted to find somebody to help him take care of Ellie, not a fuck buddy, and if he wanted to find that special person, then, he'd have to cut back on the flings.

"Yugito, if the boy said no, then it's no," Ay spoke loudly, causing the blond haired woman to blush in embarrassment at being caught by her Kage, and Kioku to sigh mentally in relief. If she kept going, she would've definitely had gotten him in bed.

"Sorry, Raikage-sama." They walked into his office and the muscular Kage sat down, crossing his arms and leaning back in his chair.

"I assume that Tsuchikage-dono has informed you of why you are here?" Ay asked, and Kioku nodded.

"Yes sir, he told us to tell you that the Leaf has asked us to ally ourselves with them. Rest assured, we denied." The large kage seemed to lose all the tension in his arms, very relieved with the news. "He also said you might have some information on the organization known as the Akatsuki." Ay nodded.

"Indeed. They are an organization filled with S-Class missing ninja, each one of them unique in their own way. Their mission is to hunt the Tailed Beast." Kioku's eyes widened, not expecting that.

"I just thought that they were some mercenary's for hire that the Leaf was using to help win the war," Kurotsuchi said thoughtfully. "Though, this may be much worse."

"Yes," The Raikage informed them. "To have the Tailed Beast's power at your will, can mean nothing less than total destruction for the Shinobi Nations. If they succeed, life as we know it shall disappear."

"Well, then we have to stop them!" Kioku yelled passionately. "Their criminals! Let's ally ourselves for the time being and shut them down before they can do anything to Bee or Yugito! Or Roshi and Han!" Ay felt a smirk tug at his lips. There were a lot of reasons he liked Kioku, and this was one of them. The ability to speak his mind without hesitation was a good quality that could have bad repercussions, but Kioku never let those consequences get ahold of him.

"Just as I was about to suggest," Ay answered. "I'm proposing an allegiance against the Akatsuki, you do not have to fight our war with the Leaf, but you will have to help us take the Akatsuki down once as for all." Kioku was about to respond before a burst of dark laughter was heard.

"Oh yes, try and take them down, it's been a while since I've been this amused." Everyone turned their heads and saw a figure dressed in all black with spiky black hair with an orange mask that swirled into one eye hole, where they saw nothing but darkness.

"How did you get in here!?" Ay shouted, shocked and angry at the same time that this stranger has snuck in here undetected by not just his Anbu, but him and Bee as well!

"That would be telling, and I don't plan on telling you anything at the moment Raikage." He shifted his gaze to Kioku, who was looking at him with anger in his eyes, his sword already in hand. "Ah, it's you. It's been so long since I've rested my eyes upon you. I thought you were dead."

"Dead? Why would I be dead? And who the hell are you?!" Kioku shouted, seconds away from charging the man.

"I may like you better than him," The Masked Man said, gesturing towards the Raikage, who seethed from his spot in the office, ready to launch himself at the trespasser. "But that doesn't mean I'll tell you. All you really have to do is remember, and then you'll know exactly who I am."

"Remember what?" Kioku shouted, losing his cool as he charged forward, only for his blade to be easily intercepted by a kunai and his wrist firmly grasped in the man's left hand.

"Why they haven't told you? I mean," A single Sharingan shifted into existence. "You are Naruto Hatake after all, aren't you?"

Frozen. Everything was, entirely and utterly, frozen. N-A-R-U-T-O? Who was that? Why? Why did something like that word have something to do with him? Didn't the Hokage mention something like that? A ramen topping? Uchiha?

Kioku let out a loud scream of pain as he dropped to his knees, clutching his head as tears of pain flew out of his eyes like a river. "Screeeching! Traaaiiinnning! No! No! No! It hurts!" The Masked Man chuckled as he suddenly appeared outside the window.

"I'll be going now, tell Naruto, or, Kioku, that we'll meet really soon."

"Kioku!" Kurotsuchi yelled worriedly as she tried to rush to the boy, but was held back by Bee who, for once, had a completely serious expression on his face.

"When the mind cracks, the body has no control, it lacks." And of course, he wouldn't stop rhyming. Ay walked towards Kioku, who was still screaming in agony.

"Kioku!" He shouted. "Calm down! He's gone!" Kioku looked up, his whole body shaking as his eyes met the Raikage's, a weirdly shaped Sharingan active in his eyes.

"Who," Kioku whispered. "Who the hell is Kioku?!!!" He shouted, and Yugito quickly restrained the boy using chakra enhanced ropes before two needles found themselves in Kioku's neck, making him fall to the ground, unconscious.

The thrower of said needles was an Anbu, who quickly bowed to the Raikage and hurried off.

"What the hell did he do to you kid?" Ay mumbled as he picked up the boy's form, and quickly vanished in a burst of speed to the nearest hospital.

And done. How was it? Good? Bad? Teellll meeeee!

Anyways, this chapter was fun to write. I'm trying to get Kioku's personality more out there, and I'm hoping you guys get attached to Kioku because he may stay like that forever tbh.

Anyways, yeah.

Til next time my lil demons!
