~Daryl's Pov~

When Sophia came out of that barn. I knew i failed Carol, hearing her sobs and calling out Sophia's name, 'You Failed Her'  The words kept on repeating in my head as i held Carol in my arms. I heard the cries of the Greene girls in the background, Beth walked through the corps of the walkers and took a walker off another walker.  "Mom" Beth called out to her dead mother on the ground, The walker came back and everyone ran to her. Pulling her away from the walker. Andrea ended this by putting a Pickax through her head.

I looked to my side and saw Ashley in shock, i walked over to her but just when i was i couple of steps close to her, She walked the opposite direction of the Farm away from the barn scene, "Ashley!" she didn't turn back she just kept walking, She ran her hand through her hair.

I heard footsteps behind me "Just let her be alone for a while she's just confused brother" I turned around and saw Rick with a hurt look on his face, I just nodded. I walked over to the fields to see if she was anywhere by them but she wasn't. I was getting  a little worried, She couldn't have gone far but i couldn't find her. 

"Ashley!!" I ran to my tent just to see if she was i there, my tent was further away from the others, I didn't really like being around others, I walked in to see Ashley's back facing me i walked over to her, she was sleeping. "I'm sorry you had to do that. Love ya" I said softly and placed a kiss on her cheek, place down her knife and gun on the small table and headed out, i figured she would want to be by herself right now, Everyone has their breaking point.

I went off to look for Carol, I figured she would be in the RV so i went over and the door was open, i walked up slowly to see she was facing the window, I sat on the counter and we sat in silence until Lori came over "They're ready" she said. I nodded but Carol just sat their and shook her head 'No' "C'mon" I said.

"Why." she croaked out to Lori "Cause that's your little girl" I said. She looked over to me "That's not my little girl, it's some other.. Thing. My Sophia was alone in the woods, Sophia died a long time ago" She said. Lori left and i stayed with her and then followed Lori. I went over to the small funeral that they held and we all went except for Carol and Ashley. When it was over i went off to the tent to see how Ashley was doing.

~Ashley's Pov~ 

I went over to the farm house, I wanted to talk to Maggie. She wasn't outside. I walked in and looked around. "Maggie?" I asked."In the room come quick" I heard her voice. She sounds worried, I ran to the room and saw Beth on the bed, Her eyes open looking at the sealing. "What happened is she okay?" I asked as i walked over to Beth and held her hand "Where's Hershel?" i asked. "i don't know" She said looking back down at Beth.

"Ill go look for Rick, stay here" I gave Beth a kiss on the forehead and ran to the campsite, i saw Rick, Lori and Shane in the distance "Rick! Rick!!" They all ran up to me "Whats wrong are you okay?" Rick jogged up to me. "Its Beth. Somethings wrong and we can't find Hershel anywhere," I said. "Where?" he asked. We all ran back to the farm and ran to the room. Rick and the rest saw Beth and they headed over to Hershel's room. "Looks like he found a old friend" Shane tossed a drinking can over to Rick.

"That belonged to my grandfather, he gave it to dad when he died" Maggie looked at the can, "I didn't take Hershel for a drinker" Rick looked over to Maggie "He gave it up on the day i was born, he didn't even allow liquor in the house" She said. "Lets go to the nearest Liquor we'll find him there" Rick said to Maggie and Glenn She hesitated a bit but she ended up saying yes. 

I left the house and went over to Daryl.

~Daryl's Pov~ 

I saw Ashley walking over to the tent but i stopped her.  "Hey" I said. "Hey" she said and came over and sat down next to me. "Listen.. Im sorry about earlier, ignoring everyone.. My own brother" she said looking at her lap, "It's alright, everyone has their breaking point" I said. She gave me a small nod, "So..when were you going to tell me?" I asked. She looked back down at her lap and shrugged, "Why'd you do it?" I asked She stayed in silence for a while. "Listen if i tell you this you have to promise me you won't tell anyone in the group okay. Please?" She said and looked at me. I nodded.

She nodded back and looked around, but stopped i looked up from my knife to see Lori coming "Listen, Beth is in some kind of catastrophic shock, we need Hershel" She looked at me and back at Ashley "Yeah" I said to her and looked back down "So what?" I asked.  

"So i need you to run back in town and get him and Rick back" She bent down to my level I felt anger bubble up inside me. "Your bitch went window shopping" I said. "Daryl!" Ashley yelled at me a bit and stood up "You want him fetch him your self. i got better things to do." I said. "What's the matter with you, why would you be so selfish." She asked. I got up i was mad now "Selfish. Listen to me olive oil. I was out there looking for that little girl every single day. I took a arrow and a bullet in the process. So don't you dare tell me getting my hands dirty! you want those two idiots. have a nice ride. I'm done looking for people" I said and sat down and Lori walked away. 

"What the hell is your problem Daryl?" Ashley yelled a bit at me and looked at me. I looked at her and threw my knife at the ground.It was sticking out of the dirt. "Don't you yell at me! You don't know what I've been through. Just shut the hell up!" I yelled at her. She flinched a bit. This was the first time I've ever really yelled at her. 

She got herself together and looked at me."What the hell are you talking about? I've been through more shit than you. You don't know what happened these past months when I was separated from you!" She said with angry tears in her eyes. I looked at her and scoffed. "Sure i don't. I've been through more shit that you. I Lost Merle! My only brother.. I wish it was you up there." I mumbled the last part and picked up my knife again. "What?" She asked. "You heard me." I said. 

She looked at me. I looked at her and she looked at me with tears in her eyes. She grabbed her knife too and walked away from me.
