Guys!! Oh my god! Rip Carl Grimes :( It was amazing having him in the show and we will miss him, But anyways. I hope you guys are okay after that, I cried :(( I'm pretty sure you guys did too. I'm uploading another chapter tomorrow! 

~Ashley's Pov~

Carl was getting worse by the second. He was so sweaty and pale. He was dying slowly right in front of all of us and it hurt so much. For everyone. Carl and I grew up together in this cruel world and it only made us closer. So it hurt me. He and I met when i was 12. We got together when we were 15 i believe. And now we're both 18. I guess it's true, people find love in the weirdest places. 

Glenn and Maggie, Rick and Michonne, Tara and Denise, Sasha and Abraham. We all were able to find some light in this world. And my light was Carl. And my light is slowly flickering away. I was with Daryl. Carl was talking to Rick and Michonne. Explaining what happened. Someone else took Judith and Daryl was holding me. Now i was just in shock.. When we got back from getting Siddiq. He and i spent the day together, along with Judith.

Carl looked at me. "Come here.." he said softly. I got up and Daryl let me go. I went over to him and i got on my knees. He held my hand. "I got these from the counter. Non-Steroidal anti-inflammatories. They'll help a little with- with the fever. They did for my mom and dad. Please take them. You son. He should have them." Siddiq said. Michonne and Rick didn't move. "you're a doctor?" Rick asked. "i was a resident. Before." He said. "Your names Siddiq." Rick said. "yes." he said. "did you know? he was a doctor?" Rick asked looking at Carl and I. "Is that why you brought him back?" Rick asked. 

"He wasn't gonna make it alone. He needed us. That's why." Carl said moving his hand a bit, Still holding mine. I looked at him and he slowly looked at me. "He was the one at the gas station." Rick said. There was another explosion and Carl let go of my hand as Rick covered him with his body. Carl started coughing and Rick gave him water. Michonne stood up. "Make it stop." Michonne said pinning Dwight to the wall. "make them stop." She said sadly. "I can't. He said. "you can. You're one of them. They'll listen to you. Please." she said. 

Rosita stood up and walked over to them. "You said hilltop was safe right? We need to get everyone there. We can get Carl there." Rosita said looking at Michonne. "They think all of you got away in the woods. They're out there looking." Dwight said. "They saw us go west. So we wont go west." Rosita said. I looked down. Just listening. "Your best chance is to stay here until they're gone." Dwight said. "No. They find us here, we're dead." Daryl said taking Judith again. "They're almost done. They gotta be. It wasn't about destroying the place. They don't have the ammo for that. After they're gone. That's when we go." Dwight said. "okay. we wait" Rosita said. Michonne came back to Carl, Rick and I. 

After a while. There wasn't as much noise. Daryl came back with Judith and handed her to Rick. "Why dont i go take a look." Daryl said. "no.." I said moving a bit. "It's alright.. I'll be back." he said looking at me. He nodded. "Stay here." he said looking at me. I nodded a bit. "kay." he said and placed a hand on Rick's shoulder. He looked at Carl and took off. I looked down again.

Daryl came back, he said that the Saviors were gone. "We can get every one to the Hilltop. We can get Carl there." Michonne said. I closed my eyes and rested my head on my arms, which were resting on the bed Carl was laying down. He looked at me sadly and put his hand on my shoulder. He wouldn't make it. He's to weak to be moved. "No." Rick said. "Daryl can get one of the cars." Michonne said. I looked up at Carl and a tear fell as I looked at him. He looked at me not really knowing what to say. "Carl won't-" Rick said cutting himself off and looking down. "He can't leave here. I have to stay with him." Rick said. "Rick." Michonne said. "he can't. I have to stay." he said. He took his hand off my shoulder. 

"Give me your hand" he said softly. I put my hand on his and we held hands. "We'll both stay." Michonne said. "Will you- Will you take Judith? She needs to be there. If she-" He stopped as he started crying. Carl looked away and a tear fell. "I'll take her. I'll get her there. Keep her safe. I got this." Daryl said. "Let me say goodbye." Carl said looking over. I helped him sit up. He let out a breath looking at Judith. "you be good okay? For Michonne. For dad. You gotta honor him. Listen when he tells you stuff. You don't have to always. Sometimes kids gotta show their parents the way." he said. A tear fell from my eyes. 

He took his hat that once was Ricks. "This was dad's before it was mine. Now it's yours... I don't know- Just having it. It always kept dad with me." he said as a tear fell. "It made me feel as strong as him. It helped me. Maybe it'll help you too.. Before mom died, She told me i was gonna beat this world... I didn't..." He said as his voice shook. I held his hand and held it back. "but you will. I know you will." he said. Judith started crying and Rick took her away and handed her to Daryl quickly. Daryl took the hat too. "Can Ashley stay.. Please I don't want her to leave.." Carl said looking at Daryl said. Daryl looked at me and nodded. "Yeah.." he said nodding. 

He looked at Carl. "these people.. You saved them all. That's all you man." Daryl said to Carl. Daryl walked away and Tara followed. Siddiq got on his knees. "You were helping me honor my mom." Siddiq said. "not just yours. mine too." Carl said. "You two brought me here. You gave me a chance. I know i can never repay you. But i can honor you. By showing your people. Your friends. Your family. That what you did wasn't for nothing. That it mattered. That it meant something. Because it did. So that's what i'm gonna do. I'm gonna honor you, Carl." Siddiq said. 

He smiled as tears fell and held his other hand out and Siddiq took it. "Congratulations. You're stuck with us." Carl said. Siddiq nodded and headed with the rest. Now it was only Carl, Michonne, Rick and I. Michonne helped him lay back down and we stayed with Carl.
